Guardian Festival
Description: While you’re off having fun at Tanabata, what kind of trouble are your Guardian Characters getting into?
Play out an rp from a Guardian Character’s perspective!: +1 Guardians, +1 Faberge, +1 Roost
Requirements: Minimum Level 1

Paii was not happy. Minji had come home with a new egg. The girl didn't need another egg - Paii was plenty! Another guardian character would only cause more trouble for the girl. It was stupid.  Minji was stupid. The pirate only let out a louder - even more annoyed sound as she heard Vaii approaching from behind. Minji was off somewhere, having actual fun, while Paii had to babysit. Well, it felt like babysitting anyway.

"Paii - where are we going?" Vaii finally spoke - her voice soft and her eyes flicking around. She was a little scared - she wasn't sure where she was and she was following just about the foulest pirate she had ever met in her life. Not that the little fairy had ever met another pirate in her life, but she was sure that any other she would meet would be nicer than Paii!

"Places." Was Paiis short reply as they shot through the park - she was planning on causing a riot. Or at least she was going to steal somethings. It was a little annoying that the new kid had to tag along, but she supposed that she had no choice in the matter. "There'll be candy there." Vaii didn't really have a concept of stealing yet - so she hoped that the other guardian character wouldn't cause too much trouble about what they were going to do. 

"-candy?" Her voice had gotten louder - if there was candy involved then she supposed that she would just have to deal with Paii. As much as she didn't want to.

"Leo, darling. Please wait. You know we need to stick together." The voice of the other guardian character as he said that was really cringe worthy to Leo. Being the more serious and logical one, it's of course his duty to make sure things are in order. And they are not. Shun i gone and probably blowing off all his money on games he can't win. They're ALL rigged. But he doesn't care. He said something about saving money? Garbage. Pure garbage. "DO NOT call me 'darling'. It's all YOUR fault we lost the kid. And now we're going to have to find him now. He's going to complain about losing all his money on rigged games. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND HOW ANNOYING IT IS??" Shura only chuckled. "Oh youuuu, he's just having fun. You're lucky he isn't the troublemaking type. Don't you think you've 'trained' him enough already?" He pinched Leo's cheek and the other slapped his hand away. "Screw you, you wannabe monk." He flew ahead of Shura just to get away from him but stumbled upon other guardians.

Or should it be 'crashed' right into them? He was so focused on getting away from the other guardian character that he just wasn't looking at where he's going. "Exercise more caution, dear Leo." Shura said as he finally caught up. And the guardian characters he just met? Of course he has to introduce himself. Right after they get back on their feet. "Don't talk to me." He answered, but forgetting to apologize to the guardian characters he just toppled over. "Leo. Apologize to them, yes?" Shura asked him to apologize, and even when knowing that it's not entirely Leo's fault, he told him to do it anyway.

[Minji]

It was unfortunate that neither Paii or Vaii had been paying any attention the moment that the other two guardian characters crashed into them. If they had been Paii might have been able to avoid crashing right into Vaii, knocking the two of them into a heap. Paii cursed as she moved from the pile up - bringing Vaii up with her. 
She'd wanted to leave her down but the other guardian character was clinging on tightly and crying profusely. 

"Arrrg hell, look what yar done." She couldn't shove a crying girl away, so let the newer fairy of Minjis cling to her clothes. Vaii - Paii decided was ridiculous but useful in that moment. Most people couldn't yell at crying girls. 

Vaii after a few long moments let herself leg go of Paii and turned to Leo and Shura. Tears still streamed down her face as she looked at them. Her voice was choked as she spoke. "I'm sorry! I mean, non of us seemed to be looking where we were going but - " She was seconds away from wailing, so she stopped herself short - turning so she could look back at Paii and wiped her face and eyes. The red haired fairy was clearly prompting Paii to apologize.

The pirate kept her mouth shut and glared at the other two guardian characters, clearly unimpressed with them and the fact they'd knocked into herself and Vaii. Pirates didn't follow orders well unless it was from their captain, and out of the two of them Paii was clearly the leader. So there was no chance of her apologizing for something she didn't do.

That face. That crying face. Shura could not stand and watch as other people or guardian characters cried. He knew Shun is like that. And his 'motherly' instincts always kicked in during these times. He flew to Vaii and immediately gave her a pat on the head. "Shhhhh...Don't worry. It was our fault in the first place. You did nothing wrong. Now hold your head up and stop crying, okay? You're alright." Leo looked at the both of them with disgust on his face. This is not the way to deal with people. At least not to him. But logically, he was playing 'chase' with Shura and ended up crashing to the other two. "Fine. You have a point. Our apologies. If it weren't for Shura over there, we wouldn't have crashed." Shura chose to ignore Leo as he played the blame game.

"Alright, dear. Do you feel better now?" Some more gentle pats and waiting for her tears to dry, and Shura is back at Leo's side. "But you threatened to leave me, Leo darling. How could you?" Leo cringed. And Shura had a smug smirk on his face because he knew what grinds Leo's gears. "Stop with the 'darling' bullshit, Shura. I'm not your darling and I don't intend on spending Tanabata with you. We have to go find Shun." But Shura had other plans. Shun did specifically tell him to do two things : 1. Stall Leo. 2. Look for coins that people might have dropped and collect them. He could definitely use them for the stall games if he collected enough. "That's mean. I think we should leave Shun alone. Just for today. You need to chill. You need to enjoy this wonderful festival. And maybe we can get to know each other over a singular piece of takoyaki." Shura's intention had always been to make friends with Leo and work together with him to give Shun the development that he needs.

"How about you ladies? Care to join us, maybe?" He said, still clinging on to Leo. It's like he now has a leash on. "Oh no you don't. I'm not about to sit around here while he recklessly spend money to--" Shura put his finger in front of his lips in a quieting gesture. "Shhhhhh. We will do that when we are done enjoying ourselves. Just once? We have company." Leo rolled his eyes. His typical tsundere nature tells him 'no don't do it, but you want to make more friends'. Oh, how very complicated.

[Minji]

Vaii blinked up at the other guardian character - nodding her head a tiny bit as she wiped away her tears. She sucked in a deep breath and patted her cheeks for good measure as well, knocking herself out of her crybaby state. She'd be fine - it was only a little knock after all! Okay! She was all cheered up! "Okay!" There was a large smile on her face and she moved back a little, towards Paii. "But it's alright! Things happen!" She was giggling a little - glad that she was no longer just in the company of Paii and her mean-ness. Although - now it looked like there was another grump about too! "And I'm okay now!" 

Paii let out a loud - annoyed sigh. She could deal with the crying part of Vaii but the overly cheery, happy and cutesyness of the other fairy had her stumped. Calli was easy to handle - Calli liked her. But Vaii was another story all together. It was slightly infuriating that she even had to 'take care of her' while Minji was away doing whatever she was doing. It was totally unfair. 

The pirate hadn't even been paying attention to the conversation happening in front of her - but clearly Vaii was watching - and she could see the fairy trying her best to not interrupt and yell about using curse words. But at being asked if they wanted to join had shoved that far out of Vaiis mind. 

"Oh! Really?" She was excited. These were possible friends! Even if one did seem like a total sourpuss! "We'd love to!" She didn't even consult Paii - she was too happy to care about the pirates wants. She knew that they'd talked about candy before - but this way they could share with even more people! It would be loads of fun!

"Vaii! We were doing stuff, I don't want to hang out with these - landlubbers!" Soft cursing Paii, remember soft cursing. She didn't want to waste time by getting yelled at. She wanted to go nick stuff - and adding two people to their crew would only end up making it more difficult to do that! 
But the other character ignored her, shoving her out of the way a little. 

"Ignore her! She's just grumpy!" Honestly Vaii was - Paii was about ready to make her walk the plank in all honesty. "Oh! I'm Vaii! This is Paii!" She gestured to the pirate. "Have you heard of Minji? We're her guardian characters! I heard you mention Shun - Minjis talked about him too!"  Just spill everything Vaii.

"Awww, landlubbers? I didn't think you could be so rude. If you think there's nothing in it for you, then I suppose you're half right." Shura smiled, but really what does he mean with all of this? "This is a festival. People drop money. I was looking to collect them. But I doubt I can do it all by myself." Which probably means he's baiting them to help with some loot. "Sure, a few coins don't mean anything, but maybe with a lot of them...Who knows?" Leo glared at Shura. "That's your big plan all along? Get him MORE money to spend on rigged stall games? I can't believe you!" Shura hushed Leo by holding his hand against the other's face. "Unlike you, I am more willing to help. It's not fair for the poor boy to continuously suffer, after all. If I want to break him at a later date, best to build up to that with some good ol love and care." Wait...Did he just hear that right? Leo knew Shura was shady and always kept his intentions to himself, but that just now? Hmmm...He better keep an eye on him.

"Back to business. You know that you can keep what you find, right? Don't you pirates love a little adventure?" Maybe if he calls her out for what she is, she'd be more willing to join them. Or not. "Ah, so Minji also has two guardians then?" These phenomenons are happening very often now that it seems unnecessary to rule them out as an impossibility. There could be more people with more than one guardian. "That's interesting to know. And yes. This stupid wannabe monk is unfortunately the second guardian to that bumbling idiot. And by second, I mean second rate." It's clear that Leo seems to despise Shura and his existence, much like Paii about Vaii, but is it really so black and white? "If you don't already know, Leo is not very friendly. But don't worry, he talks in an opposite manner. He really can't survive without his dear friends. I hope you'll consider being his friends too. He's such a lonely creature before I came along." Nothing like passive aggressive jabs at one another to really amp up the brotherly love.

"Then I take it you're fine with joining us? We can have two pieces of takoyaki instead of just one!" Hmmm yes. If not loot, bait them with food.

[Minji]

Paii was not stupid. She was fully aware of the fact that she was being manipulated. But - she didn't really care all that much. Not if shiny coins were involved. But if she was aware of the fact she thought that she'd be okay just going along with it. She offered Shura a look that clearly showed what she thought of him. "It was either landlubber or pox faced swine. Whichever ye prefer, ey?"
The pirate rolled her eyes - he'd watched too much Lazy Time if he thought that pirates were nice people. 
Although her ears definitely perked at the 'break him at a later date' part. She'd not even met Shun and didn't think she'd really care if he did get broken in the end. She didn't really think she'd care even if she did. "Break him huh?" She muttered to herself quietly - not needing him to hear her.

Paii put a hand to her face and faked thinking about it for a moment, because money. "Whatever. Fine." She didn't really think it'd be an adventure per say, but it was kind of reaching her goal. So she'd go along with it. Her expression turned even more as Leo spoke - Minji and her dumb second wish. It was stupid - why did she even need a second on? The pirate let out a huff. "Unfortunately."

Vaii sent Paii the most venemous look she could - but honestly as much as she didn't like Paii she also didn't like being mean. So she looked away a second later. She wasn't sure she liked any of these Guardian Characters. All three of them seemed mean in some way. She felt a small pout form on her face. "-Thats not very nice." She said it in general, hoping to cover all of her bases. It was bothersome - but at Shuras words - she supposed some people were just mean as a front...
The sweet little fairy let out a hum. "Well! I'll be his friend if he wants me to be!"

"Paii! Come on! Lets go with them, okay?" She was aware of the fact they couldn't split up - she just hoped that Paii would come with her. Again, she didn't like Paii but she hoped that they could not argue all the time at least. "I've never had takoyaki!" 

She'd also never introduced herself, which seemed really rude now that she was thinking about it. Vaii offered the biggest grin she could. "I'm Vaii by the way! And this is Paii! It's noce to meet you!"

"Swine? I do like bacon." Shura laughed at how 'mean' Paii is. Yes, he should be hanging around guardian characters like this one. Just chaotic. Unlike the guardian character he is paired with. Leo and him have differences in the way they handle things. "And swine is only one letter away from wine. What a compliment." Oh he loves the heated reaction of others. And Leo just flat out ignores anyone without a lick of sense. "Of course he wants to be your friend. He doesn't ever admit to it, or is ever nice about it, but he does." Shura gave Leo a pat on the shoulders. And Leo never really 'declined' the whole friendship thing. He's just one of those stereotypical tsunderes. Yeah. That's how you describe him best.

"It does seem to me like you two need some quality time as well. You know the whole teaming up with another guardian character is kind of tough, but just look at me and Leo here. Best of friends." Leo gave Shura a look of disgust, but he'd be lying if he said that they hate each other's guts completely. "I wouldn't say 'best of friends' but you learn to live with it. Even though the second wish here might not be your ideal kind of friend." At least they agree sometimes. And that's when things get weird. Completely weird.

"Okay, now that we're all on board, we can go around collecting money that people drop and snatch a takoyaki from an unsuspecting person." The way he said it with a wide smile on his face is almost unsettling. As much as Leo wanted to play the good cop to Shura's bad cop, if you can call him that, he decided to just stay quiet. "I won't take part in stealing. This is why you're second rate." Shura shrugged at this. "And yet you still want the spoils? Tsk. Tsk." He wouldn't know about Vaii or Paii and if they wanted to do this or not, but they did say they want to tag along, so why not. "I do want to help rig some games out too, you know? Ever wonder what it's like to be the one to help your kid win all the time?" Oh he's just bad news. There has to be a stop button somewhere. Leo would just have to intervene before it gets out of hand. That is, if Shura decides to do that.

[Minji]

"Yeah, you go ahead and eat the pox filled bacon." Was he an idiot? Paii wasn't sure. Also it was a case of him eating himself? She let her face fall into something that clearly showed how much of an idiot she considered him. She was not easily amused, but she couldn't say anything bad about him really. Other mean people bothered her, they were tough people to annoy as well, but she supposed she'd already agreed so, she'd just have to deal. "Poison yourself, sure. Just like wine." The pirate rolled her eyes. 

"Really?!" Vaii hadn't actually made any friends yet! These were the first Guardian Characters, bar Paii, that she'd ever met! She'd really just love to make any kinds of friends, no matter how mean they might seem. She could kind of ignore that for now - it would be fine she was more than sure. 
The 'best of friends' kind of had Vaii and Paii looking at each other, with a look that clearly said 'really?'. The two were aware that they'd never be great friends, Vaii having a dislike for anybody who was very mean or cruel. The fact she'd been left behind when the two were born was also a sore spot for the cheery fairy. But she supposed that would be something she'd get over. The two female fairies were more than sure they'd be able to just deal with each other eventually.  
Vaiis voice was a little sad as she spoke again. "It's just - Paiis so mean." And she was - there was no denying the fact. She'd been told about the times Paii had tried to lock Minji in a sensory deprivation tank. While she knew the girl was scared of small dark places! It wasn't okay at all!

Paiis head perked up at the words 'snatch' and 'steal'. Okay - she was ready to get behind this. So long as she was being a menince she was good with whatever they were going to do next. She'd have to steal some candy for Vaii later to get her to shut up about the entire thing, but that would be fine and fairly easy actually. "Stealing makes you second rate huh?" Her head tilted and a sharp smile pulled at the corners of her lips. "Just coming along for the spoils?" Okay - she was really getting fired up. If he'd been a pirate Leo would have already have been off the ship. People who didn't participate but expected rewards were just about useless. 

"Minji never loses!" Vaii crossed her arms. Sure sellers were cruel to rig games like they did, but they had to earn a living somehow. "Even at these really awful games!" They'd only been around her for a little while earlier, but Vaii didn't think she'd seen her lose anything. "She doesn't need our help!"

"Awww, most foods today are nothing more than poison, dear child." But he enjoys them nonetheless. Humans are more equipped to eat garbage, but it never bothered them. "But eat and eat we do. Life is all about dealing with suffering. And digesting poison. And then death. Wonderful isn't it?" He chuckled. Leo sighed at Shura. As much as he wanted to smack the crap out of the other guardian character, he couldn't. There's just something about Shura that doesn't look quite as it seems. Not that he's afraid of him. "Part of fulfilling the wish of your 'child' is dealing with cooperation." Leo was also a bit, well no, really salty about Shura and how Shun nowadays seem to be favoring Shura because he always gave him an easier way out.  "No matter how...Unappealing it might sound." But in Shura's defense, he isn't the worst of the worst. It's just that they continued to butt heads when it came to dealing with Shun's problems. And that he is, agreeing with Paii, rather stupid and brash.

"Yes. You don't expect me to work, do you?" But even that is a lie. He would help out with picking up dropped cash, but stealing takoyaki? No thanks. "I couldn't care less about YOU. I'm calling HIM a second rate for stealing. Shun would not be happy about it." He glared at Shura again. "And since when did YOU care about anything Shun has to say. It's always been Leo's call all this time." And that wasn't a lie either. Maybe he's just using Shun's name when it's convenient to do so. But there's no way he's going to let his control of Shun slip. He needed his help and he can only do it his own way. "Back to the plan. I heard that stall over there makes the meanest takoyaki. Let's go steal from there. With a crowd like that, I think it'd be easy for them to forget what's in their plates." Food first before work, right? "Then we'll look for money. Sound good?"

Leo, not being into the stealing thing, decides all he would do is 'keep watch' or whatever. He'd rather not act with these foolish bunch. "Oh hooo...I'm not doubting you, but when your kid can't even win a single game like ours, all you need to do is give him a little push. No matter how unfair it is." Shura always acted on his own, same could be said for Leo, but their term of 'doing it for his best interest' means differently. "I side with Vaii on that one. He has to learn the consequence of spending too much money on those horrid games when he could be doing something else entirely. Something more important. While Minji doesn't need their help to rig the games because she always wins, Shun doesn't need our help because he has to learn." How much more wishy washy can Shura get. Teetering between making Shun suffer and helping him out.

[Minji]

What an edge lord. Shura just seemed like a weirdo honestly. Paii was beginning to like him less and less, because while death certainly didn't bother or impact the pirate like it did most, she wasn't about to act all poetic about it. She wouldn't hit him either, irregardless of the fact she didn't really care, she also didn't want to have to deal with it getting back to Minji and get snubbed again. She liked being able to annoy the girl. "Wow." Was her only response to Shura and she turned her attention away from him completely. He was ridiculous. 
The pirate turned her bothered gaze back to the other Guardian Character. "Yeah. Whatever." She let out a huff, she knew that. She'd have to start getting along with her at some point. Vaii also realized that too. 

"Yeah! We'll make friends eventually!" Vaii was too excited about that. It was a little forced, actually. She could pretend though. She could get over the fact that she didn't like the other fairy. Probably. 

"We'll see." There might have been more of a chance of Paii and Vaii getting along than the other two - it looked like they had some actual issues going on there. Paii and Vaii had barely been together for three days, and they had very few things that they needed to figure out. So long as Vaii could ignore Paiis habit of stealing she'd be totally fine with the pirate in the end she knew.

"Nobodies ever happy about stealing. But it still happens." It was a muttered few words coming from Paii - she really didn't care about Shun or what he wanted. Or what Leo wanted for that matter. She just needed her stealing fix thanks. And considering he hadn't been calling her second rate she'd just ignore the other words he spoke.
Paii and Vaii exchanged looks - it really wasn't there place to comment on the rest of that part of conversation either.

"I'm not stealing anything either!" Vaii finally said - she didn't like crime. Crime was not fair or good. It was mean by nature and she really couldn't handle it. She wouldn't go either. Paii only rolled her eyes - she'd been planning on stealing candy but she didn't want to steal anything else? Vaii was an idiot.  

"Come on, lets go then." She was already off - she could probably get more than one piece of tokayaki if she wanted. Stealing was something she was very good at after all. It was a skill she'd finely honed in the girls dorms. She didn't really care where they stole from either - so long as she got something good. 

While following slowly behind, a plan started forming in her head. It sounded like both Minji and Shun were alone - and she didn't like it when Minji was just left like that! She should be making more friends and showing off her cute yukata. Vaii had picked it out after all, and she'd even made Minjis hair look really nice too! "Well - instead of making him cheat - why don't we make him and Minji meet up! She can help him learn how to win at the games!" She was a little shy about the idea - and was poking her two index fingers together.

"I appreciate your idea, Vaii. I really do. But you don't know how bad he is in these games. He has a knack for being used by everyone for everything." Leo first had to say something about that plan of hers. While it isn't bad for the boy to meet up with his friends, he wouldn't want him to possibly ruin Minji's day by being a horrible student. "You'd have more luck teaching a brick wall how to do sit-ups than teach him to do anything." Man, that was a little harsh, isn't it? "Besides, Minji's day should be better spent winning more things for herself." That is if she is as good as they say.

Meanwhile, Shura and Paii were off to do their stealing thing. "I'm afraid you must accept this loss for the greater good of others." Shura offered a very short prayer before stealing a woman's takoyaki. yes, commit the crime and repent immediately. The heavens will be pleased. "Do be careful, dear. You might not return should you try to bite off more than you can chew." He meant it in a literal and figurative way. Paii is so engrossed in this stealing business that it worries him that she might go, no pun intended, overboard. "I am sure you are trying to claw your brain out of your skull at the moment, but do exercise care. Not that I doubt your abilities." He was content with just stealing one of the takoyaki. The woman, noticing one of them was gone, along with the toothpick, started yelling at her little brother. Shura can't help but chuckle at it. Oh humans. They are so quick to blame others. Even without substantial proof. The chaos that ensues is fun to watch. The rippling effect of a 'bad' act is always so interesting.

"Hmph. You may not like Paii very much. But you don't really have a choice when it comes to who you can call 'family'. If it were up to me, I'd ask for a less incompetent 'brother'." Well isn't that new. He wasn't at all expecting it to be that contagious. Did he just call Shura his 'brother'? He definitely did. "Many things can ruin a family, but ideally, no one wants them broken. We may have our differences, but we strive towards the same goal. The improvement of the human we were 'adhered' to, so to speak." He looked at Vaii, with an expression that's slightly less stern. Slightly. He's been trying to not show his emotion, but lately, that's just been a stupid plan he's not able to keep up. "A little word of advice. Don't let your personal feelings get in the way of what you have to do. A professional is unbiased and unfazed. Even when things don't seem right." He crossed his arms and sighed. He'd now have to wait for the other two to return.

[Minji]

"Haaa - thats pretty mean isn't it?" It sounded mean. Vaii didn't like mean. But she supposed she didn't know Shun - so she wasn't sure just how true Leo's words were. "I'm sure Minji wouldn't care anyway." The red head shrugged. It was better than cheating wasn't it? Although she supposed they might meet up anyway - even without the fairies involvement. Vaii let out a sigh, tilting her head slightly. It was probably cute. Most things she did were cute. "Minji doesn't need to win more things anyway! She has plenty of things!" She was willing to give up on the plan though, mostly because she didn't want to start any kind of argument about such a silly thing. 

Paii let out a snort at his...prayer. It was a little ridiculous. If you were willing to steal for yourself in the first place you didn't deserve any kind of forgiveness from anybody. Paii was damned many times over and she willingly and fully excepted the consequences of her actions. But whatever floated his boat she supposed. Even if it was bound to sink. 
It took a moment for Paii to find somebody susceptible - and she shushed the other guardian character slightly - even as his own stealing got out a wonderful reaction. Hm - she supposed if he was willing to cause such an event she could probably grow to like him. She cackled slightly and ducked down into the crowd. If he was having fun - why shouldn't she?
She moved under a mans tray - hitting the side of it and sending the entire thing out of his hand - but she managed to catch one of the takoyaki before it hit the ground. 
She snickered as she flew away - hearing the man cursing and blaming somebody for knocking into him and as she reached Shura she rose an eyebrow. "Me - careful? You've got to be kidding." She ducked around him - heading back to the others. 

"Well - I know that." Vaii looked away - watching out for the other two. It wasn't like she didn't know that she and Paii had to work together, but both showed very different parts of Minji. Paii was created to make Minji more assertive and possibly violent and Vaii was to make her cute and happy and good stuff. It was difficult thinking that Minji could be both at the same time. "And thats not what I'm here to be." She pouted. She didn't need to be calm or unfazed. That wasn't her personality. "That might be what Shun needs you for, but when it comes to Minji thats not the kind of help she's gonna need." Vaii didn't think she needed to share that much, but there she was spilling her guts. "Anyway, Minjis already like that. I don't need to be like that too." She wasn't sure if she was missing the point entirely actually.

"She's got lots of things, huh?" He raised a brow. But maybe with every win comes a solid reward, and she just happens to have plenty of them. And Shun in the other corner would feel lucky just to win one of those lame keychains as a consolation prize rather than an actual one. "I don't suppose she'd actually want to win something to give it to someone else, right? You can always win more. Get more." He's sure the pirate would agree with that. Maybe. She does seem a bit on the greedy side in addition to being rather thief-y.

"Of course not. What I meant is that everyone has different needs and wishes. Shun is a mess. He has no discipline nor the capacity to stay calm. That's why he has us. I know that it's different with you and Minji. But wouldn't it be better for you if you are able to take care of her together with that...Pirate?" He was aiming for something more insulting, but that'll do. He isn't about to stoop to her level anyway. "What I'm saying is that, you two might not get along. But there are bound to be times when she needs both of you. And you won't get anywhere by squabbling with each other."

"Aw, come on. It isn't alright for me to care about your well being?" Shura asked Paii, acting all worried. But Paii is probably smart enough to know there's sarcasm thrown all over the sentence. But he still laughed at the miserable man who just lost his batch of takoyaki. What an evil, evil fella. But his whole 'holier than thou' demeanor doesn't really say much about him, either. "We have loot, though, so isn't that something." The returned from their 'mission' if you can call it that, and as promised, Shura would share with Leo. The takoyaki piece is quite large. Almost as big as their heads, probably. And one would be enough for the both of them. Leo after all, is on an invisible diet of sorts. Invisible, meaning, he always calls it off. And why in the world does a guardian character need a diet anyway? It sounds super silly.

[Minji]

"What? No!" Vaii was slightly offended on Minjis part. Her human wouldn't have felt that way at all. At least...not in Vaiis view. Overall Minji was nothing like Paii in terms of selfishness or greediness. "Minji doesn't win to get things at all! She just likes to win." That didn't actually sound all that much better actually. Vaii wasn't sure why Minji liked to win all that much, but she just knew that she did. "She doesn't really care about getting things...she just wants to prove that she can do things." Vaii nodded a little. That sounded a lot better. 
Although - it was very true that Paii would have agreed with him had she been close enough as he spoke.

"Well, I know that." Vaiis eyes widened a little. Of course she understood that. Minji was the most important thing. She was well aware of the fact that she and Paii would have to play nice if such a situation were to ever happen. Vaii would happily do it as well. It was Paii who would probably be the issue in the end, being the argumentative kid in the end. Letting out a small sigh she continued on. "We get along when we have to! Minji is the most important thing after all!" Minji was also Vaiis favorite person as well, so she had no issue making sure that they'd be good when the time came. 

Paii let out another laugh. Okay - she wasn't sure she didn't think she hated him as much as she did only a few minutes ago. She was still plenty weary of him but he didn't seem as much of a stick in the mud she had thought him to be. "Aw - what a kind guy you are. Worrying about lil' old me." Her own response was quick and equally sarcastic. Her lip quirked up a little again and she swerved a little, spotting the other two not too far. "A decent amount of it too." She wished she'd caught more actually - it would have been a little more difficult to carry back but it would have been even more impressive.
But she did suppose that it was large - they might not even finish the one of them.
