Calli yawned as she cracked her egg open, the top half falling to the surface of the table as she did so. She looked around, blinking the sleep from her eyes, before turning back towards the open window behind her. What time was it? Did she oversleep? Turning back towards the room, she noticed that Yasuko wasn't around. Come to think of it, no one else was around either. She climbed out of her egg, stepping lightly onto the table. If Yasuko wasn't here, then that probably meant that she was at school - leaving the Guardian Character behind. 

It was rare for the girl to depart for school without her egg; and really that had only happened once, when Calli (once again) had overslept. Perhaps the girl had left her behind, if only not to disturb the little sprite's sleep. She placed a hand on her chin, as if she was going deep into thought. What did she do last night again?

Oh right.

Twitter happened.

Or rather, it was just simply Twitter. Calli wasn't allowed to do anything on Yasuko's phone, but - whether it was her whining or something else, the first-year begrudgingly allowed her to at least take a look through Twitter. The Guardian Character couldn't respond to any tweets as per the girl's request, but that didn't stop her from squealing over everyone's posts. Neither did it stop her from scrolling through her feed as far as possible to read every single post made by every student ever. 

Then again, with everything that had happened so far, Twitter wasn't exactly the happiest place it had ever been; but Calli had simply scrolled even deeper, just to read posts of the more positive variety. Whether they were made by egg-holders or not...she didn't care, so long as they were happy stories. Even when Yasuko went to sleep (and hissed at her to go to sleep too) the Guardian Character hadn't listened to a word and had continued scrolling well into the night. She probably went to sleep later than Minji. Or maybe it was just a little earlier than Minji - she didn't remember. 

But now that she was left all alone in the dorm, she wondered what she should do. Or was she alone? Minji was probably at school, but was it possible that the pirate was here too? Or maybe she should go off and do her own thing? Hmmm, choices, choices....


Minji

[Minji]

Paii had been banned from the classrooms of Seiyo. The pirate supposed that she could understand, she was loud...and annoying...and a number of other things. She was lucky she had never been yelled at by other students and had only ever had to see Minjis disappointed looks. Not that she cared anyway. Class had always been really boring to the little fairy. 

Paiis egg lay deep under piles of clothes that sat on top of Minjis bed - she was thankful she was not inside of it. They'd been tossed on top of it when Minji got ready for school. Paii knew that Yasuko would probably not be happy with the mess once she got back to the room - but she also didn't really care about that!

Not that she was in the room at all. Sure, Minji was the one who usually did all of the dangerous stunts, Paii knew how to go on adventures too! Although - sitting on the outer sill of the window wasn't exactly the most exciting adventure she could have gone on but it was better than being stuck inside! 

She also wasn't quite ready to go 'Robin Hood-ing' just yet. It was still just a tiny bit early in the day to do so. 

The pirate had been quiet for a long while - just watching things happen from her place. But it was getting a little boring. So she started singing. Obviously. A pirates shanty. She wasn't sure she was exactly a great singer - but she was good at low deep voices that sounded pretty cool, so for that moment she'd assume she was okay. 

Tilting her head to the side she gazed into the dorm room - her eyes passing over the mess, Minjis skate boards, Calli, Yasukos desk -. "Calli?" Her eyes shot back to the other Guardian Character before she shot up - banging on the window. Her voice calling out to the other fairy. "CALLI! YOU'RE NOT AT SCHOOL!"
It was more than a little suprising - normally she was the only one who got left behind when it came to school. Not that she was complaining. She could hang out with Calli today, and everything would be great!

Calli was jolted out of her thoughts when she heard loud banging. She whipped around, looking this way and that, trying to find the source of the noise. What was that?! Who was that?! Was it Yasuko or Minji attempting to enter the dormroom but couldn't because they'd forgotten their keys? Or was it a burglar trying to bust his way in to steal some of their valuebles?! Was it some kind of unknown creature that had descended from another dimension to ask her for help?! No wait, that last bit made absolutely no sense.

But she soon turned around completely - and spotted the pirate on the other side of the glass. There was a momentary pause, the fairy blinking in blank surprise, before her eyes went big and wide. It was Paii! Paii was around after all! "Hi Paii!!!" The brunette fairy called, giving out a grand big wave. Wait, if she was banging onto the window, that probably meant it was closed right? She couldn't talk to the other Guardian Character with a transparent pane in front of them! Flying up, she grabbed the end of the latch and pulled as hard as possible--

--Wow how did Paii do it?! The latch was so hard to pull! Was it stuck?! No wait, it couldn't be, how did the pirate get out of the dorm room then? Calli wasn't the most strongest of all Guardian Characters, but she pouted at the stupid latch. If Paii could do it, so could she! With a huff, the tiny sprite pulled with all of her might - she wasn't going to let some stupid latch defeat her! - before managing to elicit a satisfying 'click'. Yay! But the force of unlocking the window launched the fairy backwards - and she landed straight into Minji's pile of clothes.

She soon reappeared from the top of the pile, blinking with surprise, before she spotted the pirate again. "Hi Paii!" She waved, as if not a care in the world.

[Minji]

Paii, unfortunately couldn't stop the snort of laughter she let out as Calli pulled open the window. The pirate had never really found it too difficult to do it herself. Although Minji did do it for her most of the time. She was a little impressed with the other Guardian Character for having done it the first time she tried. 
While she certainly hadn't been trapped outside per say she did appreciate the other fairy helping her out a little. 

Letting out short cackle she floated back through the window and towards the blue eyed fairy. At least Minjis messiness had served some kind of purpose that day - and Calli hadn't ended up hurting herself in her...fall. Once she reached Calli the pirate offered her a hand to help to actually get her off of Minjis pile of clothes. 

"Ahoy there Calli!"

The pirates smile was wide and her eyes were as bright as they could be. Far more adventures could be had if there were two of them. But she did kind of wonder why the other had been left behind for the day - Paii wasn't sure but she didn't actually think she'd ever seen the other Chara while classes were going on. The tiny pirate tilted her head and offered her another smile. She was glad that she was around for whatever reason. 
It would be nice not to just be alone.

But she still felt like she should ask about it. "Arrrn't you normally with Yasuko about now?" 
She let out a low hum - she felt like Calli probably wouldn't want to join in with her usual activities of stealing 'treasures' from the empty dorm rooms. It wasn't exactly something that seemed like it would suit the other guardian character. Obviously they'd have to do something fun, but many not her usual kind of fun. 

[Yasuko Kobayashi]

The brunette fairy squealed with delight, giving another hearty wave. "Ahoy there Paii!" she giggled as she gave the other a wide grin. It was so fun to exchange pirate-like slangs with the other! Calli soon beamed as the pirate floated closer, taking the other's offered hand so as to pull herself out of the pile of clothes. Instinctively she began to pat down her clothes, as if she was smoothing them out after her fall.

She turned back to Paii as the other Guardian Character asked her question, and she soon furrowed her brows in response, as if she was thinking on how to word it. "Yeah!" she soon replied, a bright smile on her face. She was - for the most part - usually with the first-year, either hiding away in her bag or sitting on the edge of the table squealing over lessons. Though she had to quiet down nowadays; Yasuko would insist she had to stay in the schoolbag if she disturbed the girl any longer. "I always go with Yasuko to school! School's so fun!" Her eyes went wide and sparkling, remembering the days when she was in lessons. "I get to learn lots of stuff about the world and all kinds of other cool things!"

"I so wanted to go to school today! But..." The Guardian Character soon scratched the back of her head sheepishly, a tongue sticking out in an embarrassed manner. "I guess I overslept today," she gave a nervous laugh. It had only ever happened once - she had been left behind at the dorms too, and on that same day, she hadn't woken up in time to follow the girl out to school. Ironically enough, Twitter was the same reason for her oversleeping.

"What about you?" she asked the other brightly. "Whatcha doing in the dorms?"

[Minji]

"Arrrg - matey, too bad you got left behind then." The pirate, for the life of her, could not understand why Calli was okay with being stuck inside of a classroom for the entire day. Obviously the two of them had some very different boredom thresholds. Paii only offered a shrugging of her shoulders and turned a little away from Calli - a small grin on her face. "Sometimes you over sleep. It happens."

The pirate let out a small, cackling snort of laughter and patted the sword at her side. Minji didn't really let her go to class with her and in all honesty Paii could kind of understand why that was a thing. She was wonderfully loud during the classes and constantly picked at her human whenever she got the chance if she was stuck inside with the young girl. 

"I'm not allowed in Minjis classes." The pirate shrugged again, not really caring about the fact. "I'm too loud and bothersome." She was fairly sure that there had been other things said about her, but Minji hadn't repeated them to her at any point in time. Which was nice she supposed. 

"I would rather sink to the depths of the sea than have to sit down quietly anyway, so it's better this way!" She was right in that - classes were outrageously boring for the tiny creature and she just didn't need it to be in the confines of the classroom, it would really just drive her insane. Plus she just hated when she had to sit through Minjis beloved math class. 

"But I have plenty of fun here!" The pirate said - striking a happy pose. Paii was very glad over the fact that she was left alone to do as she liked most of the time. It was great. "I was about to go on an adventure actually! Do you wanna join me?"

[Yasuko Kobayashi]

The brunette fairy tilted her head to side, blinking blankly as the other started to laugh. "Aww really?!" was her response to the other. That didn't sound nice at all! "I'm sure you would have made the class way more interesting though!" Calli beamed at the other, clearly not appreciative of the fact that 'loud and bothersome' wasn't exactly the best thing for a lesson to run smoothly. "It's too bad Minji and Yasuko are in different years; if they were both in the same year and in the same class, wouldn't that be fun? You and I could be in that same class right now and totally doing lots of fun stuff!" The little sprite simply gave the other a big grin.

Oh! But if Paii wasn't fond of sitting quietly, then maybe that wasn't such a good idea after all. It would be hard to hear anything the teacher said if somebody made the class noisy.

But the pirate's words soon cut through her thoughts. "An adventure?!" Calli repeated, her eyes going big and wide. An adventure! Where would that take them? Where would they go? What kind of things would they discover?! What kind of fun things would they do?! Maybe they could find a plant species that never existed before! Or maybe even school secrets that the administrators never want them to know! Or maybe a magical door that was a portal to a whole new dimension! Okay, maybe she was getting carried away, but she was so excited!

"I'll totally love to come!" Her eyes were sparkling; thoroughly thrilled she was by the prospects of the unknown. "Where are we gonna go? Will we go on your ship?"

[Minji]

"If they were the same age and the same class huh?" She offered Calli a grin. It probably would have made classes way more fun, but the pirate was also fairly sure that both of them would end up being kicked out of class and from what Calli had said already she was sure that the brown haired fairy would not be happy with that. "It would be fun - but I feel like we'd probably get yelled at a lot."

The pirate was fully aware of the fact she was a pain in the ass and she was very proud of said fact. She just also knew Minji did not appreciate it.

Paii pointed a finger at Calli. She didn't actually have a ship of her own. They would probably never go on a ship, unless she stole some money from Minji and bought one for herself. It wouldn't exactly by the best way to do it, but it didn't much matter in the end. She'd get what she wanted eventually wither it was through legal means or not. As was the pirates way.

"But yes! An adventure!" She needed an adventure now - to take her mind off of the fact that she didn't have a ship. "Unfortunately lass, its an adventure on the land, we have no need for a ship for this little adventure!" She didn't really want to lie to the other Guardian Character. Not really, but she'd probably have to bend the truth at least a little bit. "We're gonna do pirate things!" Which obviously meant some stealing, she wasn't sure if Calli would catch that detail. 

"It's gonna be lots of fun!" It would be - if the other chara would cooperate. If she didn't get yelled at about what she was going to do. 

[Yasuko Kobayashi]

Calli had to stop for a while, tilting her head as she pondered over the pirate's words. Get yelled at a lot? She didn't know about Minji, but she soon remembered how annoyed Yasuko would be if they did disturb the class - to which she then scratched the back of her head sheepishly. "I guess you're right," she said with an embarrassed laugh.

Her thoughts were interrupted with the Guardian Character's pointing - and the brunette fairy could help but squeal in excitement at the other's words. Adventure! "Adventure!" she repeated, throwing her hands in the air, clearly taken by the idea. "An adventure on land?" she soon responded with, a question mark tagged on the end as if in query. An adventure on land! What kind of adventure would it be? Where were they going to go? But her eyes soon went big and wide; and she clasped her hands together in eagerness. "Pirate things!" Pirate things! That sounded way cool! "We're gonna do pirate things!" It wasn't quite clear if she understood what that really meant.

"It sounds like lots of fun!" Grabbing the other's hands with excitement, she looked at Paii with sparkling eyes. "Let's go Paii, let's go!" It was unsure if Calli actually appreciated what the pirate actually meant by "fun", but it was clear that the little sprite was less than bothered by it. It was an adventure! And Paii said it was going to be fun! That was all she cared about! "Where are we gonna go? Are you gonna teach me more pirate things? Is it going to be outside?! If outside, where?!" She soon shoot Paii all kinds of questions, her eyes shining with anticipation.

This was going to be so fun!

[Minji]

Paii offered Calli a toothy grin - she was asking so many questions. It was nice she was so excited and they probably would go outside in the end, but first. "First, we need to collect supplies!" The pirate should not be trusted. When she said 'supplies' she definitely just meant that she wanted to steal things before they headed out, but Calli didn't need to know that exactly.

With her hands already being held - she would easily guide Calli over to the door of the room before letting go to jump on the door handle and open it. It was probably obvious that she'd done that act a number of times already. Mostly Minji left the door unlocked at that point, because she knew that Paii would find someway to unlock it again anyway. It wasn't like anybody was going to be coming into their room to nick anything. 

"Lets get a move on then!" She said as she pulled the door open with a little difficulty, she was use to it yes, but that didn't mean she didn't struggle actually doing it. Paii would have to close the door behind her - and Calli would have to wait for her to do that as well, unless she decided to help the Guardian Character do that. 

"But then, we will go outside and we will adventure!" She didn't normally go outside on her own, mostly because of the egg hunters that had been around lately, but if they were a little more careful they'd be totally fine and they'd have lots of fun. Or at least the pirate hoped so. It might also get Minji off her back about stealing things. "We can't tell Minji or Yasuko about this thought! They might worry after all!"

"But of course I will teach you more pirate things! I might even let you use my sword!" She offered the brunette another grin. 

[Yasuko Kobayashi]

"Supplies?" The brunette fairy repeated, tilting her head to side. What did Paii mean? "What kind of supplies?" she asked, as the pirate guided her over to the door. Ideas soon poured into her head and her eyes grew sparkly and wide. "Do you mean supplies like ropes, or barrels?!" She asked, her hands clasped together in excitement. "Or maybe even food, like apples and tinned goods?! Or or, stuff you sell like rum or sugar or something or other?!" She was spouting a mixture of all kinds of stuff, pretty much getting excited just by herself.

She stared in confusion as the Guardian Character let go of her hands - and watched with awe as Paii soon leaped to the door handle. She gave a hearty laugh and gave a tremendous clap, as if applauding for an impressive show. "That was so cool Paii!" she said with wide sparkling eyes. She had never tried to open the door by herself; it seemed way too big and too heavy for her tiny hands. Besides, she normally followed Yasuko everywhere, so there was never really a need to try to pull it open. Skipping forwards, she soon crossed into the corridor - before squealing with delight. She was always following Yasuko, so she never really took the time to look around the dorms before. "Everything is so huge!" she remarked on the obvious, throwing her hands up into the air with excitement. She forgot that she could fly it seems.

Turning around, she simply nodded at the pirate's words, eyes shining at the prospect of learning more about pirates and what they do. Well, actually it was really the mere idea of adventure that had the brunette fairy hooked but getting an education about pirates was a lovely side-effect of it anyway! "Okay!" the Guardian Character said with glee, though she soon blinked, as if Paii's words only then just registered in her mind. Not tell Minji or Yasuko? But they were just going on an adventure, weren't they? She wanted to tell it all to Yasuko later!

But the pirate's words completely distracted her from those thoughts and she clasped her hands tightly together again. "Really?!" she said, her eyes shining with anticipation. "I've never used a sword before! How does it feel being able to use one?! Does it make you feel all powerful and stuff? Oh oh! Can you totally cut ropes like in all those pirate movies?! Or maybe even stick it into wood and hang from the ship?!" She was spouting all kinds of things out of random order once again - though it was clear that the fairy was not at all concerned about it. She was just so happy to be on an adventure with Paii!

[Minji]

"...The last one." Paii didn't think Calli really knew anything about pirates. "We need some booty! Every pirate needs some before they leave for somewhere." She offered the other fairy a wink before she ducked into the hallway as well. She supposed she could tell one actual fact. "If we can find citrus-y fruit we should take it too! We don't wanna get scurvy ey?" Paii didn't waste too much more time - moving back to close the door, struggling a little to pull the large object closed again. But when it did and she heard the click she whooped slightly and spun back to face Calli - now they really could go have fun. 

Turing to the other guardian character she thought for a long moment how she could phrase her next sentence without it sounding really bad. "Okay! We don't have any money, so for now, we have to scavenge for things okay?" She hoped that that would work - that Calli wouldn't catch on that they were just going to nick a load of things for the sake of it. Honestly, she was less worried about Calli. She mostly worried about Yasuko found out.

Paii offered Calli a look that clearly said she didn't quite belive her 'okay' but she was sure their humans would find out about how they'd spent the day one way or anoter, so the pirate supposed she'd just have to deal with it. "Come on then!" With that she was off down the hall - she knew one of the few doors she knew she could get behind. She knew the student had some decent things and now that she thought about it, there might have been some oranges in there the last she'd seen. 

"No pirate - " She was keeping her voice calm, Calli didn't know that much about pirates after all. "Would willingly put their sword in jeopardy like that." Paii was very passionate about swords - her own was very important to her and she was fairly sure that most other pirates felt the same. "Cutting things is something we all do with them! But sticking them through wood is no good!"
"But swords." The pirate let out a dreamy sigh - for the first time the smile on her face was soft. "They can make you feel powerful and strong for sure - but only if you know how to use them."

[Yasuko Kobayashi]

"Booty!" Calli cried with glee, throwing her hands back up again in excitement once more. She was about to ask what kind of booty Paii was talking about - until the pirate answered her. "Yeah!" the brunette fairy giggled, pumping a fist into the air like she completely understood. But then she blinked, and stared once again at the other Guardian Character. "What's scurvy?" she asked, tilting her head in query. It seemed that her knowledge about pirates and seas and sailing were rather...patchy and certainly all over the place.

"Okay!" The little sprite agreed without much of a thought about her fellow Guardian Character's words. She didn't seem to mind about the whole 'no money' issue - rather, she was excited about the whole idea of scavenging! "Scavenging!" she soon repeated with a squeal as she followed the pirate down the hall. She had never scavenged before! They were going to search for something useful right? And that'll be used for their adventure right? That was scavenging right? "What kind of things are we gonna scavenge Paii?" she asked with excitement, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Is it gonna be like food or like ropes or barrels or--" There was a pause; clearly, she didn't realise that she had basically repeated the exact same words from before. "--Or weapons maybe?!" It sounded highly implausible, but Calli was already vibrating with a sense of eagerness at the possibility.

"Oh," was the brunette fairy's response, blinking as she slowly processed Paii's words. "Why do you say that? How does it put the sword in jeopardy?" Her brows furrowed together as she tried to think of plausible reasons - was it because the wood would destroy the weapon in some way? But...wasn't metal harder than wood? Hmmm...

Calli stared at the look on the pirate's face. That was...the first time she had ever seen such a soft smile on the other's features. It was something that didn't cross her mind that the other Guardian Character would do, but the little sprite couldn't help but squee in delight. To see an expression that was rare on the other's face! That was totally...what would be the best word to describe this...awesome? Cool? Cute? Oh who cares, she was excited at having saw it and that was that! "You must like swords very much Paii!"

Her eyes shone at the idea of making one feel strong and powerful - and she couldn't help but jump on the spot. "Teach me Paii, teach me!" she cried eagerly, clapping her hands together.

[Minji]

"Scurvy is a really bad disease." The pirate nodded - scurvy was fairly rare though. It had once run rampant in all kids of sailors but now a days people got plenty of vitamin C. It was good. Scurvy wasn't the prettiest thing ever either. She didn't really want to talk about it too much. "Sea-bearers have never been very healthy." She shrugged a little - it wasn't like it really mattered all that much. 

Paii sucked the back of her teeth and let her head tilt to the side. There was a lot of things they could get really - if they looked for it. Maybe not barrels. It would be really hard to just find barrels that they could pick up just anywhere. Paii slowed down as they reached the room she wanted to go in - they'd probably make a trip to a cleaning cupboard before they left as well. Or else it might seem weird. "This way!" She opened the door with ease - the lock was broken - and set off inside to find something. Maybe they could find a weapon - for Calli anyway, she had her sword and wasn't looking for anything else. "Weapons are hard to find - but maybe something like a pin would work..."

With that the pirate was diving through the belongings of whoever lived in that room, looking for anything of value to add to her collection. They could play with it as well, obviously, but then it would go into her secret pocket inside of Minjis desk draw where nobody else would be able to find it.

She turned her attention back to Calli briefly - how could a sword be put in jeopardy? "Look -" The pirate drew her sword - not offering it to take but meaning to just show the blade. "Metal wears down and it's not infinitely strong." The pirate swung it around a little - the sharp whizzing sounds like music to her ears. "Sticking it through wood dulls the blade - hanging off it could cause it to snap." 

She cared a lot about swords. "And a dull sword is no use to a pirate."

"BUT arrrrgg course I'll teach you more about that later! When I show you how to use it!" Her voice was loud again and her smile was back to the one that had a slightly crazed edge to it. "Lets get back to scavenging, ey?"
   

[Yasuko Kobayashi]

"A bad disease," Calli nodded as if she understood. What kind of bad disease though? "What happens when you get scurvy though? Do you get like fevers and stuff?" she asked, remembering the few times that Yasuko had fallen sick with a sore throat. She followed after Paii as the pirate continued, a single pause in her step as she processed the other's words. "Huh..." was her first response, her brows furrowing in thought. They looked healthy on all the movies though. "Why do you say that?" Calli asked once more, walking after the other Guardian Character. "Did they get sick often because they're at sea?"

Watching as Paii pushed open the door, the brunette fairy simply skipped in, taken she was by the excitement in Paii's voice. She stopped herself when she reached the centre of the room, her eyes wide and shining as she took a quick look around. It looked like a room! With beds and cupboards and everything! "It has the same layout as Minji's and Yasuko's room!" She said with a bright smile, looking around for the pirate.

As the Guardian Character pulled out her own sword, Calli couldn't help the gasp of awe coming from her mouth. She had seen it before sure, but it still never beats watching Paii take out her weapon. She clapped her hands together in glee as the other showed off, ending with a high-pitched squee as she watched the pirate's performance. This was so fun! But as the other spoke, the brunette fairy stopped where she was, listening intently to the other's explanation, nodding furiously at each sentence. "Okay! I got it!" she soon said, giving clap as if to show that she understood.

"Okay!" The Guardian Character repeated once again, throwing a hand up into the air as if she agreed to Paii's suggestion about being taught later. Wait, where was the pirate anyway? Oh but they were supposed to be scavenging right? With a hum, she began to leap to the top of the nearest chair - but failed and ended up scrambling onto it instead. Whew!

Looking at the big huge drawer in front of her, she grabbed it's handle and pulled as hard as she could. With a satisfying shuuuuak! the drawer soon popped open - and she nearly fell from where she was. Okay, maybe not that hard next time. Pulling herself up - and landing harshly into the drawer with an 'ow' - she looked around to take a peek. This place had a lot of accessories! Like necklaces and bracelets and rings; and even sunglasses! Some of them have a skull pattern on them though...but no matter! They were all shiny and she couldn't help but squeal. Yasuko never had anything like this. "Paii! PaiiiiiiiiiI!" she called out, holding out a ring with two hands. "Is this good enough?"
