Minji heaved a sigh as she half threw herself into the dorm room. She'd have to go back home later - she didn't really have a choice in that matter. She'd flopped onto her bed before she'd even checked to see if Yasuko was there. She should have probably cared more about that, but as it was everything that she'd learnt recently had kind of punched her in the gut and she didn't really think she could care about anything else for the moment. 

The videos she and Soichiro had seen on Ohnos computer... It was more than a little bit of a shock. Minji and a number of other students had known for a long while that they'd been friends while they were in school but to watch the videos of things going from bad to worse well it had her reeling. She was aware that she probably only had half of the story and she was sure other things must have happened as well but...she didn't really think it was her place to pry. And she wouldn't but she'd tell her roommate everything she'd learnt there was no doubt in that.

She let out a low groaning sound and buried her face into her duvet. She wondered if it would be possible to just sleep through the rest of whatever happened. It would be so much easier to handle if she could. But she knew at the end of the day she'd have to sit up and deal with what was going on. Even if she didn't really want to. 
The second year let out another tiny huff before she rolled herself over, staring up at the ceiling.

Yasuko hadn't been paying attention to what had been happening lately. Though she had slowly begun to return to the usual predictable routine thanks to the people that were around her, she still hadn't fully felt like she was herself. She didn't complete homework as fast as she usually did, and she sometimes still sat in class without doing anything, instead of going home like she usually did. Her tweets were few and far in between - if any at all - and she barely took any time to look through the timeline to see what was going on.

In some ways, she had recovered a little...but she largely still didn't want to come back to the world of the eggs.

She scribbled onto her exercise book, her Geography textbook lying open next to her, taking her time reading through the questions. Over the past few days, she had been making careless mistakes - ones which she rarely, if ever, made - and had caused enough embarrassment for herself that her teacher had looked disappointedly back at her, stating that her grades would slip if she made those same blunders once again. Her eyes slowly moved across the page, making sure that she was reading each and every word right, when the sound of the door opening made her pause and look back. Seeing the tell-tale hat and long dark hair, she was about to return to her work, had said roommate not suddenly threw herself onto the bed and made noises that Yasuko could only surmise as stressed.

The first-year looked towards Minji's bed with confusion in her eyes, raising an eyebrow as the other groaned and huffed as the second-year rolled about on her bed. It was a strange sight to see, and she had never ever seen her roommate behave like that before. Her eyebrows furrowed in a worried manner, and she looked at the second-year as if she wanted to say something.

Could it be that...something happened?

"Um..." she began, staring at Minji in bit of a concerned manner. "Are you...okay...?"

Oh, she really had totally missed Yasuko. She felt a little bad - she hadn't wanted to ignore the girl at all. The girl wasn't really sure how to deal with the entire situation. Minji had no idea how Yasuko might react to what she was going to say. It wasn't exactly a great subject to suddenly start talking about and sure it had already happened a few days ago so she'd at least had a few days to get use to the idea of it but it still wasn't something that she could just start saying.

"I...maybe?" She was confused and didn't feel like what she'd seen the other day was quite so real. But nope. Soichiro had seen it too. They definitely had seen the leader of Faberge gone completely x. 
She let out another huff. Minji was sure this was probably the most times she'd ever made so much noise. She was sure she was coming across as weird. "We were in the Roost hang out today." Not the strongest beginning but she'd just have to power through it. "And I found out...well..." She ran her hand harshly through her hair - removing her hat in the process. "If I knew something about Sasaki Hana...would you want me to tell you about it?" She was well aware that her roommate was in the womans faction and didn't want to overstep.

Minji still wanted to get it off of her chest. To not be one of the only people who knew about it. There was a difference between there being another person watching and being able to tell a friend. Although...she hoped that if Yasuko did want to know...that it wouldn't upset her too much. 

"Like..." She sat up slowly turning so she was actually fully, bodily faced the other girl. "It's not...great." Obviously she didn't know if the other girl already knew about it, but she would assume not. She thought that it would be something the leader of Faberge would share so easily considering how most Seiyo students reacted to people going x. Her gaze flickered over to the girls desk - and she felt a little bad because she'd clearly been studying before she'd decided to interrupt her. 

Minji...would not mention the other thing that was making her huffy. It wasn't as important. For now it would be kept quiet.

The second-year's answer was strange to her ears. Yasuko couldn't help but furrow her eyebrows a little, tilting her head slightly as she stared back at her roommate. "Maybe?" the girl echoed, raising one of her eyebrows in the process. As if asking her to elaborate more on what the second-year had meant. In fact, she had never seen the other girl seem so...distressed. What in the world had happened?

The first-year listened intently as the other spoke, raising an arm to the table and to her chin, so as to prop her head up on her elbow. She nodded a little as the second-year continued, acknowledging the other's words, leaning in as the girl talked--

But Minji's question made her pause.

She drew back as the words filled her head, furrowing her eyebrows even further as her mind processed those words. It was such a weird question to hear. What did the other even mean? "Huh?" were the first words out of her mouth, blinking as she stared at the other. Was her roommate suggesting something sinister about her own talent manager that she didn't know about? But Sasaki Hana wasn't just her manager; she was her mentor, her confidante, her support; there was just no way she could do anything wrong.

There was no way.

Right?

"What do you...mean?" the girl asked, turning her chair so that she was facing the second-year properly. Her face soon took on a look of urgency, as she stared anxiously back at her roommate. "What...what happened in the Roost hangout? What's going on?"

The girl wasn't sure how to explain what she'd seen. "Maybe." She ducked her head a little, she was at least a little aware of how much the Faberge members looked up to their leader and she didn't really want to tarnish that. But...she also knew that it would probably be better to at least tell Yasuko.

"We saw...a series of videos." Were the words she began with. "And obviously we still don't know everything that happened - so we might have had a skewed view or whatever..." She tilting her head back up - looking back at her roommate. This wasn't going to be something pleasant to talk about. "If you didn't already know, Ohno is really into cameras, okay?" A tiny bit of background like that might help her begin a little.

"And obviously you already know that the three faction leaders were part of The Guardians." She wouldn't have said what had happened was that bad not really. People went X all the time, and it didn't mean they were bad people. It just meant that they had some things they might need to overcome but the videos had put it in a bad light as well. It seemed like Sasaki had done something bad that made her go X. Minji rubbed her hands together.

She took a deep breath as Yasuko fully turned to face her. Okay - while it was certainly serious she didn't want to make the girl feel like something was horribly wrong, so she took a second and let herself calm down before she continued donning her usual slightly blank face. "We were trying to fix Ohnos computer because he couldn't figure it out and we stumbled on some videos." Stumbled. A total lie but she wasn't ready to admit she'd been snooping. "And they were all of the three of them, when they were our age."

She messed with the ends of her hair a little. "Hana - she...It doesn't seem that bad, but she'd gone X." She wasn't sure how much to tell the other in one go - maybe she should let that bit sink in before she continued on?

The second-year's answer was expected - yet it was the very same ambiguity that made Yasuko feel even more anxious. 'Maybe' wasn't a reply that she had been hoping for. As the other continued to speak, the first-year began to lean closer, her expression intense, her hands gripping each other as she listened. "A series of videos," the first-year repeated, but it seemed more of an acknowledgement of Minji's words rather than a question. The more the other tried to explain, the more concerned Yasuko got.

She wasn't at all interested in Ohno's 'hobby', assuming that it was one - in fact, it was clear that the first-year was growing a little impatient, pressing her hands tightly together as she stared apprehensively back at her roommate. "Yeah, I know that," she began, with a bit more of a tone of edge to her voice than she had intended. She just wanted Minji to get to the point already! In fact, the more the second-year spoke, the more confused the first-year became. Where was she going with this? And why did it sound like the second-year seem like she was beating around the bush?

"Uh-huh," the girl said, though it was more of a sound of acknowledgement than anything else. She leaned closer still, her eyebrows furrowed, waiting for Minji to continue. Videos huh? Videos, okay, that sounded benign enough. Where exactly was the second-year going with thi--

But Minji's words made her face fall.

She'd gone X.

Sasaki Hana, the leader of the Faberge faction, her mentor, her support - had been corrupted?

"What..?" she said, staring back at Minji with a shocked expression. She was reeling back, her brain felt like it had come to grinding halt, unable to process further. "What-you mean-no, no way--" she stammered, pulling back, her eyes wide. Her mind flashed back to Twitter, of someone's Tweet, of someone accusing Sasaki Hana of having been corrupted before. She had gotten angry then, insisting that there was no way, no way that the Faberge leader would have gone X.

But this was her roommate, not some Seiyo girl on the Internet that she didn't know about. Minji wouldn't lie.

"Are you sure?" she asked, a desperate tone to her voice. Deep down, she knew that there was no reason the second-year would lie, but she was in a state of denial. She didn't want to believe it; didn't want to believe that Sasaki Hana would even go down that route. There was no way. There was simply no way. "Are you really sure that was Sasaki Hana in the video?" she pressed on, leaning forward, her eyebrows knotted together as she searched the other's features for an answer. An answer that told her that no Sasaki Hana did not get corrupted.

Yet, a part of her had a feeling it was not a reply she was going to get.

Minji nodded - a little hesitant. Yasukos tone would obviously not effect her speed of speech, patcially because she wasn't really sure what she was going to continue with. But she could at least confirm her own words without adding anything else for the moment. The second year found herself rubbing her hands together and looked firmly away from the younger girl as her agitation had only seemed to grow the longer she took to actually get the words out of her mouth.

She almost reached out to her roommate - her eyes still turned away but she was sure it wouldn't be appreciated. She for a moment wished that she hadn't said anything. Certainly not in the moment that Yasuko seemed to lose the ability to form an actually sentence. She dropped her head a little - waiting for anything else.

"I'm sure." Her head bobbed - and for a moment she thought about moving, just in case her words might set the girl off again. The video was still clear in her mind. The founders had had it just as bad as they did apparently. Maybe...even worse considering there had been only three of them at the time. It couldn't have been easy.

"It was definitely her..." If Minji hadn't been sure that her first piece of information would be well received so she certainly knew that the second part wouldn't be. "It...it seems like she'd done something bad to cause it...Obviously I only have that side, that the camera saw...I'm sure she has actual reasons for it -" 
Or at least Minji could only hope that were the case. But...as it was she'd gone 'x' as a kid - it shouldn't continue to reflect on her as an adult. Not considering she must really have grown in that time. It just probably would have been better to at least tell the kids she was helping what had happened.

Yasuko's head was reeling, backing away, her head hurting from processing the information. Sasaki Hana had gone X. She felt numb, as if in shock still, staring at her roommate with wide eyes. I'm sure, Minji had said. And there was no reason why the second-year would lie about it. She didn't even seem to respond even as the girl continued to talk; her mind was still stuck on the reveal, of the fact that her mentor had been corrupted before.

A small tiny part of her felt that maybe, just maybe, if she had been corrupted before, all it meant was that Sasaki Hana was human; that she had insecurities and difficulties that had brought her down the path of corruption. That maybe she could learn from it, acknowledge it, absorb it, and move on, seeing it just as a mistake of the past, and knowing that, being a human being, Sasaki Hana could change. That she was no longer that person.

But she was far too stunned to realise that.

"That's--" she began, but she soon stammered, having nothing to say except sputtered half-formed words. Her head felt like it was swimming in a dizzying manner, and she reached up as if to catch her own head, as if to stop herself from falling.

But wait.

"What happened then?" she asked, pleading, her eyebrows furrowed as a desperate look took over her face. If Sasaki Hana had been corrupted, than what happened to her then? Did they cure her? Wait, of course someone cured her; otherwise, she would still have a blackened heart. "What did the others do? I mean she was part of a group of Guardians, right, with Ohno Gou and Kirishigi Notsuk--" She stopped, her eyes widening. Hana-san broke Kirishigi-sensei's egg. "This..this doesn't have anything to do with that tweet by that...that girl right...?" she began, her tone wavering - yet it was laced with dread.

A kind of dread that was afraid of the truth.
