Still unused to the school building Hime was often finding herself lost, more times than she'd like at this point. Classes had ended and she hadn't planned on being around afterwards for much longer but obviously her lack of navigation had other plans. It hadn't been too long after classes had ended but the lights suddenly shut off, leaving the startled second year in the dark. It had been so abrupt she hadn't much time to react, standing in the dark quite perplexed all she could let out was a soft "Oh." 

She hurried through the hall, looking to the first window she came upon before letting out a small sigh. It looked like quite the storm was brewing, yet another time her mother had been right to tell her to bring an umbrella. She was going to get the usual riot act of I Told You So, something she was quite used to at this point. 

She supposed the most she could do at this point was wait it out, she'd have to explain to her mother later but there was no sense in venturing out in such a condition. It was foolish to do otherwise. She glanced back to the window, the last she wanted to wait it out though was in the hall so exposed to the trouble waiting outside. There was a classroom just near by she could slip into for the time being...thankfully no one else was around right?

She opened the door, slowly walking into the classroom before letting out a relieved sigh as she turned around to shut the door. Hopefully the storm would be over soon, being left alone in the dark at school was certainly the last scenario she'd wanted to be stuck in.

Well, so much for napping. Hiiragi Motoharu had spent the last two periods hiding in his usual spot, having a smoke and just hanging out on his own until he finally fell asleep. The weather was warm enough and the soft lullaby of a bird lulled him to sleep. Everything was going well, until he heard a loud boom... and a crash. He slept a lot, but the boy usually got easily stirred, thus his eyes shot open immediately. He didn't know how much time had passed since he fell asleep, but the sky was already dark. Oh crap, had he been lingering around for that long?

With one look at his watch, the boy figured that classes had just barely finished. Still, what was with all those clouds? All of a sudden, a droplet of water landed on his cheek. Rain...well. This looked like it was going to be bad. He didn't want to get rained on and the school was probably empty by now, so Moto decided to continue his napping session inside.

Not creative enough to choose a random classroom or a club room, Moto went straight to his own class, 3-D. Relieved that nobody was there, the boy took his usual seat and took a comfortable napping position. His hair still had a few leaves stuck in it, but he didn't care to notice. He also didn't notice when somebody else opened the door and quietly slid in. He was already half-asleep.

How in the world would she pass time....it wasn't like she knew when the storm would stop, so she had to somehow pass the time. She didn't really bring that much with her though. It was school, it wasn't like she brought a long various items to entertain herself since most of the time she was fairly entertained by most anything she encountered in the school really. It was such a new experience to her she felt like a child in a candy store who could have any of their liking. To simply be in the school for the most part was enough to keep her happy.

Though she could do with a few more friends. She pulled out her phone, flipping it open as she let out a small sigh. She didn't have that many contacts in her phone...despite the lengths she'd gone to get it and decorate it so precisely. She fiddled with one of the rabbit charms that dangled from it before shutting and slipping it back into her back. It didn't occur to her right away that there actually was someone still lingering in the classroom besides her...

She bat her eyes, glancing around the sudden smell of smoke wafting her way. She curiously wondered what in the world could be making the smell...goodness she hoped it wasn't the smoke she should worry about. It took her a moment in the darkness but eventually she was able to make out the other student who was quite contently napping at one of the desks.

Those leaves...she'd seen this student before. She chuckled softly, curiously stepping a bit closer. Every time they bumped into each other so far there were always leaves in his hair and he'd always been snoozing away. It was kind of cute...poor guy must not get enough sleep...which is exactly why she mustn't bother him! She wouldn't want him upset with her again, not after the last time she'd inconvenienced him. She took a step back, planning to simply turn around and find a desk of her own to sit at for the time being. Though she'd only managed to back up into one of them, knocking it over with her amazing grace and poise.

"Oh horse feathers!!"

The noise was loud enough to wake one sleepy Motoharu up. He gasped loudly as his eyes shot open, only to be met by.... complete darkness. Where was he? Oh right, he'd gone back into the school building, because it looked like a storm was brewing, but he also clearly remembered leaving the lights on. It was almost amusing how he completely lost himself while he was asleep, but well, didn't all people? The only difference was, he slept several hours more than your average high school student (and at odd intervals), so he almost always seemed like he just got kicked to Earth from another planet.

"Is anyone there?" He asked with a sleepy, vaguely bored voice. Moto figured he might as well check since with the noise and the lights, it probably made sense that someone else was in the room with him. What could they be possibly doing at school at this hour, though? Were they napping and caught off-guard by the oncoming storm too?

"Yes! Sorry! Apologies! Sincerely sorry! Himekawa, Shiori at your service! Please forgive me!" She chirped suddenly, straightening up quickly as Motoharu stirred. She couldn't help it but the moment he'd woken she could feel herself stiffen up. "I-I-I accidentally knocked over one of the desks, I'm truly sorry! I'll pick it up!" She scrambled to pick up the desk, pulling it up and setting it back to where it had once been resting before quickly moving to pick the chair back up as well.

"T-there's a storm outside right now so I was just...hoping to stand in here until it was over. For now at least. It's a bit less frightening in here than staying in a hall way..." She smiled sheepishly at him before suddenly raising her hands up in the air a bit. "I-I promise I won't bother you too much though! I'll um...doodle!! In my notebook." She pulled out her notebook as if to prove to him, she truly surely was doing as she said!

That voice was... not what he was expecting when he asked. Somehow, Motoharu thought someone had broken into the school... yet he was strangely calm about it. By the sound of it, the person who had made the noise was a female student. She'd introduced herself too, but her name seemed oddly familiar. Moto didn't talk let alone give his name to other people, so it was easier for him to remember meetings. She was... the girl who was looking for a rabbit, right? "Arisu-chan?" His eyes narrowed, struggling to make out her figure in the dark. Boy, she was talking too much, or was it just him who was much too quiet?

"Well, yeah, obviously..." The reason he was inside was the storm, after all. At least she was willing to let him go back to sleep, which was nice, but Moto wasn't sure he could actually concentrate on sleeping with her there. "Well, whatever... " he finally said. "Can you turn on the lights though? If you want to doodle or whatever, I don't think you'll be able to do so in the dark."

"A-arisu...chan?" She paused, staring at him. Was that supposed to be...some sort of nickname? She smiled softly, slight enamored with it. No one had given her a nickname!! Whatever the circumstances she certainly wasn't going to stop him from using it. "I-I didn't turn them off though!" She lowered the notebook a bit. "They just shut off while I was heading home...I think the storm might've cut the power in the building for a while..."

She didn't exactly know how to turn the power back on so she really couldn't turn the lights back on even if she wanted to. "Isn't the dark better for napping though...?" She asked a bit sheepishly, she was admittedly a bit surprised to hear him show a bit of concern. She'd have just assumed he'd leave her to her devices, he didn't all that interested in 'making friends'.

The nickname seemed only right for her sine the first thing ... or the only thing, rather, that Moto could remember about her was that she made a fuss about finding a white rabbit. It was silly, when he thought about it, but memorable, at least. When Hime's explanation about the lights being out came, Moto thought it was reasonable enough. The storm did look like it was going to be bad, so a power cut wasn't totally out of the question, it wasn't, but...

Moto wasn't very much a fan of the dark.

Of course he wouldn't go as far as being concerned for someone, let alone someone he just met. He was more... trying to subtly cover his weakness. It was part of why he always napped outside. The sun was always up and he didn't have to worry about someone turning the lights off. "It depends on personal choice, really." Moto waved his hand dismissively. He was getting a bit uncomfortable. He'd ask the other when she thought the lights would get back on, but she probably wouldn't be able to answer. With a swift movement, he pulled his phone out to get at least some light up. It wasn't enough to make him feel at ease, but it was better than nothing.

He wasn't much of a talker, or so she was finding. That was okay, she could accommodate that. She was raised to be more considerate of someone's wish when in their company, so she'd...try her best to be a bit quieter. She turned around to sit in the desk next to him, rather than standing there and looming over him. He caught her attention for a moment again as he brought out his phone, he had asked her to turn on the lights...

She fiddled through her bag, pulling out her own phone as she flipped it open and set it on the desk in front of her with a small smile. It wasn't a major impact on the lack of light but it was certainly better than nothing. She glanced over to him with the small smile before turning back to stare down at the desk. She could handle this. She could handle the silence just fine. She reached over to touch her phone, turning on a song. She quickly adjusted the volume, making sure it wasn't too loud as she was sure if it was she'd heard about it.
