[RP] Eggs and Show Business [Sunako/Admin]

It wasn't often Suna went toward the administration offices of Faberge, but today she was finally having a meeting with one of the managers there in between all her practices. She'd heard only good things about Sasaki Hana from her brother and Ai, that she was a good manager and a very supportive person - but nothing about her status as a leader of a faction. In her short time as an egg bearer, she'd never seen adults involved, only kids her age. She had a lot of questions. Ai, Minji and her brother had helped answer some of them, but she was hoping an adult could answer more - especially why a company like Faberge was interested in eggs. Or if they knew that people had to fight with magical powers.

She patiently waited to be let in, though in her mind she tried to multitask, going over the routine she was performing for a concert. She hated being idle after all.

She would've been let in quickly; a short wait in front of the reception desk would be swiftly ended by a young woman with a patient smile greeting her and leading her to the elevator, punching in the number for the floor they were headed toward, and standing silently within it as it ascended. As they'd reach their floor, she would gesture for Suna to step out, pointing carefully to the glass office that sat in the center of the floor's lobby, where a number of sound and recording booths lined the walls of the hallway. She would then hit another button in the elevator, disappearing down it in a moment.

Sasaki Hana would be right there to greet the second year as she'd step out, opening the door of her glass office and holding it open for the other to step in. "Minamoto-san?" she greeted warmly. "I'm Sasaki Hana. Come right in; you wanted to see me?"

The office itself was very simple; the walls, being glass, didn't lend much to things being on them, aside from the back wall, which was covered by two large bookcases, full of books and blinders and files, and a filing cabinet beside them. Her desk in the middle was large, covered in mountains of work and a laptop atop it all; sticky notes were scattered all over, scrawled with reminders and notes of all kinds in all different colors of pens. Her desk chair was one that rolled and had a low back, and the two chairs in front of her desk were leather and very inviting.

She didn't have to wait that long, apparently, as a woman - Sasaki-san's assistant, perhaps? - escorted her to the elevator. As she walked toward the glass office, she noticed the recording booths all around. Perhaps most of Sasaki-san's talents were singers? She winced at the thought of her own terrible singing voice.

Soon enough, however, she found the woman she meant to speak to, face to face. She had a friendly enough air, and didn't seem all that different from any other manager she had met - yet, as she entered her office, she couldn't help but feel reminded of herself. How everything was color coded and filled with what seemed like endless piles of work. When she became Sasaki-san's age, when she couldn't dance as much as she'd like, would she end up like this?

Ah, but that wasn't what she came here to talk about today. She stood straight up, but did not look at her directly. "Yes. That's correct," she replied, and followed her into the office. Once it was shut, she relaxed her shoulders a little, but did not sit - it felt weird to sit unless she was directed to. "A friend of my told me that you might know something about heart's eggs. That you lead a faction of bearers in Faberge. I...I wanted to seek an adult's wisdom on this issue. I was hoping you could help?" she said. She had so many questions, but how could she ask them all at once? "Just so you know, I know some of the basics. I...I just want to know what this faction has to offer for egg bearers. Considering that people have been hurt, physically and mentally, simply for having an egg in their possession." She remembered the man who chased her off with a baseball bat - and the girl who protected her in what she recognized now as a character transformation. Having been caught off guard and nearly dying was something she'd like to prevent in the future.

Sasaki was prompt to direct her to sit, moving back around her own desk before gesturing to Suna politely, only to sit down herself. As Suna started, too, she folded her hands and directed at her her full attention, listening carefully to everything that she had to say. As she finished, a smile settled into the manager's features.

"You get right to it! I like that," she remarked, the smile clearly coming through in her voice, coming off to the point of an immediate fondness. "Let's see..."

She took a beat to think, before settling up in her posture and beginning her explanation. "My division of Faberge, doubling as ranks in the talent agency, is also designed to help those like you--that is, those with Guardian Characters. We can help guide you, so that you can achieve your would-be self; all of the 'factions' work toward this same goal--but ours is with the focus of helping our members do their best. The Guardians look to doing what's best for a group, and the Roost with what's doing what's best for you as an individual--but we want you to do your best, regardless of what kind of approach you prefer. We want you to help you shine in your own way, from your own efforts, in what suits you best." She settled with a pause, then, before raising a perfectly-manicured finger and adding, "Plus, since we are still a talent agency, we as well bring along helping you in achieving your real-life goals, and growing your own talents. There's all kinds of opportunities we offer. But that's a pitch for a different time and place." There was a note of humor in it, in a I'm required to say this, but let's have fun with it anyway, kind of way.
