Sayuri was, quite possibly, in a serious state of complete and utter distress. She'd been attending math club for the last few weeks to try and catch up on some of her classes. Her year-long break from school had done little to help her overall learning abilities and her grades had fallen to unbelievable levels while she struggled with take-home tests. She didn't consider herself to be a bad student, but when faced with anything outside of basic homework assignments she found herself at a complete loss. Now there was yet another exam coming up and she found herself surrounded by textbooks she just didn't understand.
"I don't.... what does this even mean?!" Sayuri mumbled, drawing her feet up onto her chair as she sat in the library studying. She had yet another heavy reference book in her hands and was squinting at the words, trying her best to make sense of the numbers being thrown at her. She would have thought history would be one of her easier subjects, not a mess of dates and names too long for her to even pronounce properly. Sighing, she placed the book on the table and tried to grab another. She'd hoarded as much as she could onto a single table, carrying them the short distance needed to make it to any available space she could find. She'd already called her parents and delayed her return home, focusing all of her free time on making sure she definitely passed this class.
Her dreams had managed to come true this far. She'd gotten into Seiyo, she'd made a few friends - now she just had to get into class 3-A. That was her newest goal and one she was trying her best to stick to. Who cared about eggs and egg business when she had tests to study for!
