Cancelled plans

+ Description: You were supposed to be somewhere - be it an extra class, an outing with friends, a dinner with family or maybe even a blind date - but it got (or they) cancelled! Now you have all this free time you don't know what to do with.

Minji rubbed a hand down her face, this was just...bothersome. Her mom had gone and cancelled their plans - that they'd made weeks before. For a decent reason, she had patients to take care of and Minji was very much okay with that. She was use to it. But she wasn't really happy that she'd had to make her way into town while wearing stupid clothes that meant she couldn't skateboard there and back. She really missed her skateboards. 

The girl let out a small sigh - glancing around. Okay - considering she was already in town she could do some stuff, right? Not there there was a lot of stuff that she actually needed to do. 

So she was stuck with nothing to really do. Letting out another sigh she turned on her heel and set off. She supposed she could head towards the arcade in the hopes that the Pri-Para game would be free - and she hoped it would be considering it was the only game in the entire place that she really enjoyed. Maybe she could get a new coord? 

"Minjiiiiii -" A voice whined beside her ear - and on the other side her hair was pulled, but she chose to ignore her two guardian characters for the moment - thinking rather deeply about the outfits that had come out recently that she'd like to collect.

It wasn't anything new for his lessons to be moved at last minute, in fact at times he'd cross his fingers and hope for that outcome. His luck was more accurate than it really should've been as his lessons were moved and rescheduled more than twice a week at the very least. This being one of those days the third year found himself fumbling around the town aimlessly without much to do. One of his favorite past times. He'd rather be found doing anything else other than returning home.

Courage hovered behind him, still keeping his distance from his holder. His fears still lingered but he couldn't abandon him. So for the past few days Courage had done, a rather poor job at keeping an eye on Yosuke from a far. It wasn't like Yosuke couldn't tell he was there, because he could. He really could.

The two continued to wonder around, a sight for anyone who could really see Courage in the first place before the third year stopped. He eyed a girl just in front of him, decked out in...some sort of outfit. He wasn't too familiar with it. But she had...she had two?? His eyes widened as he took another look at her. How did she have two of those things...was one just pestering her more than her original? Had she picked up on some other character's curiosity? It was picking up his curiosity for sure..If he tailed them long enough...maybe he'd figure it out?

Paii was snickering in her ear as she continued to play and pull at her hair - but Minji had become to use to it she could ignore the pirate without even really thinking about it. It was unfortunately Vaii that she was having trouble shoving out of her contentious mind. She was still calling Minjis name - getting steadily louder and louder the more she was ignored. The girl let out a small sigh as it turned into the red-hair Character just singing her name loudly in a tune she didn't recognize.

"Miiiiinjjiiiiiii!!!!" 

It hit a point that she just couldn't ignore her anymore and she stopped in her tracks. Her eyes flickered towards her newest chara and then back to Paii who had given up on pulling at her hair and instead was cackling freely - her tiny hands gripping Minjis shirt now. An actual dress shirt - not her usual way too lose tank top - and was crinkling the fabric. She was...kind of lucky she wasn't meeting her mom if Paii was just ruining her shirt. She closed her eyes for a brief moment and started talking in a quiet voice. "Guys - we're going to the arcade - wait just a little and you can yell at me all you want there." 

Paii rolled her eyes - a typical response, one she was use to but - but Vaii was welling up. The Guardian Character obviously thought she was being told off, which she knew, deep down was so super silly! But she was also upset that she'd upset Minji! She didn't want to do that at all! She clung to the girl - in a similar way to Paii. "I'M SORRY! I'LL BE GOOD NOW!" 

While Minji certainly wasn't good at sensing things - and certainly not people Paii was already turning her attention away from her two ship mates - spotting something just a little more interesting on the horizon. A smirk tugged at the pirates mouth. She didn't mention it, of course and turned her attention back to Vaii. "Oh boo-hoo. Stop being such a baby." She rolled her eyes and chose that moment to yank at Minjis hat. "Well get a move on then." Her eyes once again moved to the boy and she was sure she was seeing another Guardian Character. If she winked...she wondered if they'd actually be able to see her do it.

God, the two seemed about as frustrating as Courage was. They pulled at her hair, hollered, shouted, he was almost thankful Courage was too skittish to try any stunts. He glanced back at the small cat for a moment in comparison. He met Yosuke's eyes, widening a bit before he backed away with a small squeak as his eyes then darted down to the pavement. He didn't really have the nerve or drive to try anything like her characters. He then turned his attention back to the girl in front of him as he continued to follow her.

He stopped a distance away from her as she'd abruptly come to a stop, something had caught her attention. Probably the two characters who were clinging to her and pulling at anything they could get their tiny hands on. God, he'd have lost his temper so easily if Courage had turned out like that. More and more he was being given reasons to actually...like the character. Debatable.

After yet again a bit more hollering, she returned back to her original path. But this time, he'd been spotted. One of her characters had turned to look at him, eyeing him quite curiously. He frowned in response, waving his hand at her as if to shoo her off. He certainly didn't want her attention.

Courage on the other hand, peeked from behind him, looking back at the two characters with his ears swung back. They were awfully loud but the small cat found always found it interesting to meet other guardian characters. Most of the time they were more vibrant or helpful than he was. He wondered if he could make take tips on how to be a bit more vocal or have a better relationship with Yosuke than he already had...

The girl continued on her path. Irregardless of the fact Paii was still being a pain and...glancing at something? Minji shook her head - she was an odd one and she really didn't feel like paying too close attention. The pirate had a habit of getting distracted by things rather easily. So she kept her attention on Vaii who - for the moment was calming down a little. Although - she still was humming rather loudly, trying to cheer herself up about upsetting Minji. 

"Oi - Vaii." Minjis hand reached out and she tapped the red haired character. "It's okay. Just be a little more quiet okay?" She tried to offer the Guardian Character a smile - but as usual it came out a little more forced than she really meant it to be. "You're fine really, okay?" And she was in reality, the whole thing didn't matter all that much, she just didn't want to disturb anybody too much. Not that most people would notice two yelling Guardian Characters. 

Paii - was not happy with being waved off. Ah - being ignore or snubbed was not something she enjoyed or could handle at all! And to be waved off as if she was nothing? That was totally ridiculous. She hated that the most of all. The pirate let out a huff and she let out a small growl - catching Minjis attention. 

"Minji! Somebaaardy is following us!" She was loud - loud enough that she was sure the boy and his guardian character would hear her. Which was the plan. Minjis attention turned quickly back - her eyes searching. "Over there!" The pirate pointed to the boy - a nasty little smile on her face. He'd obviously wanted to keep hidden but Paii didn't care at all anymore! If he'd not waved her off she might have pitied him and not told. Paii let out another laugh. "Oh man - not one of your fans is it?" 

"None of Minjis fans would just follow her." Or at least Vaii would hope not. He was probably just another weirdo right?

Courage squeaked, scrambling to hide behind Yosuke as their cover had been blown. Fairly easily honestly but it had thrown the small character off guard anyway. Again, fairly easy. He trembled as he used the third year as cover, whimpering and tearing up as various situations ran through his mind in a panic. What would they do-- would they be mad-- were they gonna get in trouble? The guardian character was a pro at thinking of the worst case scenarios for mostly everything.

Yosuke's hands moved to his pockets as he stared back at the girl and her characters, not as phased as his poor companion. The two guardians were loud enough he didn't really need to be surprised, he'd figured they'd be caught eventually. It just wasn't as soon as he'd though. "Are they always that loud?" He finally to her, raising her voice a bit as he tried to overpower the two little chatterboxes next to her.

Courage squeaked, pulling on Yosuke's sweater sleeve with a pleading look. He looked up at the third year with frightened gaze, his bottom lip pushed out as he whimpered. "Y-yo-chan d-don't..." Yosuke returned his gaze with a frown, causing the character's ears to swing back once again. "Y-yo-chan you can't start something...." He scoffed, looking back at Minji. "I'm not starting anything...I just have some questions."

"Oh!" Vaii let out a loud sound - having barely spotted Courage's ears as he dove behind the boy. He looked adorable and totally scared out of his mind. A feeling that Vaii was not unfamiliar with. She wanted to go over and introduce herself - but considering that he hid as soon as he saw them - well it seemed like it would be mean if she just forced conversation on him. So she kept her mouth shut for once and waved enthusiastically at the others Guardian Character. She liked making friends! And she hoped that maybe she'd make another!

"Unfortunately." She shrugged a little at the boys question, they really tended to be louder outside of the dorms. She was pretty sure that Yasuko had learned some kind of way to tune all of them out. Which wasn't a surprise considering they'd been together for such a long while already. "You learn to ignore them." She'd already known how to ignore loud and aggravating people so adapting it to Paii and Vaii wasn't even that difficult for her. Not to mention the whole 'too chilled out to ever get annoyed' thing that she had going on for herself.

Paii was scowling rather intensely at the boy. She'd been hoping for a little bit more of a reaction. It just wasn't really what she'd expected at all and it was rather annoying that the boy had continued on without any kind of actual reaction towards Paii and her being annoying. The pirate let out a angry huff - landing on Minjis head and starting pulling at the hem of her hat and letting it go so it hit her sharply. Ah - that made her feel a little better. "Haaaa - super annoying."

Minji watched the boy for a moment. She didn't think she'd ever seen him before now that she thought about it. "You heading the same way, or were you following me?" Minji was going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he hadn't been following behind her.
