Sayuri had arrived at the festival very early in the day, yukata tied tightly around her waist as she held a small purse in her hands. Her parents had agreed to let her roam the various stalls as long as she met up with friends and her brothers could check on her later on. She'd agreed somewhat reluctantly, waving off her driver after arriving and disappearing into the crowds before he could follow her. She didn't want to be tied down by any sorts of limitations. Like Cinderella at the ball she had only so much time she could run around before her parents called her back home. She intended to make use of every single moment she could.
Luckily for her though she wasn't entirely alone. Hoshiko flew next to her, scanning every single stand them came across with some sort of strange sci fi device. She listed off the various properties of whatever she could find while Sayuri bought snack after snack, chowing down on as much takoyaki, taiyaki, and cotton candy as she could. Her hands were filled with various food items that she spent all but a few minutes consuming as she crammed them into her mouth.
Now she stood in front of a shooting game, cork gun in hand as she missed yet another prize. She was positive she'd hit it but the bullet had knicked it in the side, barely moving it from its place. "Ahhh, this game is harder than I thought!" she said to Hoshiko, trying her best to be discreet as she talked to her guardian character. The little sprite currently had her cheeks filled with konpeito, the little star-shaped candy for sale only a few booths down. The space ranger shrugged, sticking yet another sugary treat in her mouth as Sayuri paid the booth vendor yet again and tried her hand at the game. "You don't think it's rigged, right? Like how they say there's glue on the bottom of the prizes?"
