Cute new cafe? Trending? He's probably there. It doesn't take much for him to want to go check something out. He always needs to be in the know about these things. It is very very crowded in here, it seems. But he's already taking killer selfies. Shura is joining him in the selfie taking, even though he probably won't show up in the picture once he's done taking it. Leo, however, still hated the whole selfie thing, and chooses to just stay a little further away from Shun and his other guardian character.

He's so absorbed with himself and taking a picture near anything cute that it just made him forget that he's in line to order. FInally, when he realized that everyone's walked past him, and the fact that he's now hungry, means that he has to go to the back of the line again. Well, it's worth it, right? It's not everyday you get selfies as cute as this. While he's taking a selfie, though, at the back of the line, he fat fingered the camera setting back to non-selfie and took a picture of the person now in front of him. With flash. Oh that's just....Not cool. He fat fingered the flash too?? Well, to be fair, people are bumping him left and right. "Aaaah ohmygod, I'm sorry, the picture of your back doesn't look good." What a way to start a conversation.

Cute cafes were the epitome of after school life! Everyone had to visit a cute cafe at least once before graduating if they ever wanted to say they'd achieved a perfectly wonderful teenage experience. Sayuri was taking advantage of her newfound freedom to visit the latest restaurant in Otonoki. The cakes looked amazing online and she just had to break her diet just to try one of them. She could suffer the consequences later on once she had her fill of sugary treats.

Standing in line with her little guardian orbiting around her, she heard the sound of a shutter going off on a camera along with a bright light. "Hm?" she turned around only to find someone apologizing about a picture and her back, "Uh.... it's okay! Backs are kind of hard to take pictures of. You should take pictures of the food instead, it looks great! Have you been to this place yet, it has all sorts of really cute looking treats." Even if they didn't taste good, she could swallow it down for the sheer knowledge she got to try these adorable delicacies.  "Maybe they'll even let you into the back to take videos of how they do it, those are always really popular online.  It's so cool watching them decorate everything."

"Actually I was gonna take a pic of myself but I think I pressed the wrong button and took a picture of your back instead." He sighed. Deleting the photo is one way to remedy the situation. "There, all gone." Out of everything inside the phone's memory, only a few of them are actual pictures of anything else other than himself. Yes. He is quite vain, in a way. "I've been here that one other time now that I think about it. But it's still a trending place, so I guess it's still 'new' to me." Oh, that isn't a bad idea, actually. He could just go and take pictures of food. And himself with food.

"They let you do that? I didn't know." Hmmm, now it's tempting to go in there and take those videos. "Well, I'm on a mission to be the cutest person on earth, so why not start the journey here?" He grinned and took another selfie, this time getting both himself and Sayuri in the picture. Of course, he didn't tell her to get ready first. Spontaneous photos often bring out the best (or worst) in other people anyway. "Oh wow, you don't actually have to try to be photogenic." She still looks good in the surprise photo. "Eh don't mind me. I'm just the serial slefie taker of Seiyo." He laughed. But really. It's a good looking photo. Mainly because he's in it too.

"O-oh, that's still okay!" Sayuri said, feeling bad for the other already. It really was such an honest mistake and it wasn't like she was offended at all. People were accidentally captured in photos all the time and it was impossible at such a bustling place like this to get a perfectly empty photograph, "Do you want me to take the picture for you? Maybe they'll let us pose in front of the cakes or something if we ask..."

As she spoke, her little guardian peeked her head out from behind the student's hair. This guy kept taking pictures... were they for sampling perhaps? Was he also an explorer looking to document every strange alien he came across? She buzzed lightly, climbing farther along Sayuri's shoulder to get a better look at him. "The cutest person, hm? That's really neat, you seem to already be on the right path," Shooting perfect selfies was hard but he seemed to have mastered the skill. And he was so nice too with all the picture taking! "Cafes like these must really have a great aesthetic for your photos. I heard there was another small shop opening in town if you're interested in taking some more food selfies... it's a creperie apparently."

"No way. You don't have to take my pictures. I can take them myself. But if you want, you can totally be in the selfie too." But then he beamed at the wonderful idea she had. "OHMYGOD Will they let us do that? I would LOVE to pose with the cute pastries. Cause that would like, up my cute levels." He's clearly gunning for that now. And there's no way the waiters or waitresses inside could stop him.

"As if I'm not already the cutest, though. Oh wait, that just sounds super mean, doesn't it? I mean, everyone is cute in their own way, but I'm like...Hardcore cute." Wait does that even make sense? "The one thing I like more than regular selfies are themed selfies. If the creperie is trending, I probably will go there and take pictures!" God, he really does talk a lot, doesn't he? And then finally he noticed that the girl also has a guardian character. Small world. "Oh look, you have one too?" And just then he smacks the side of his bag that he's carrying with him, just to wake his own guardian characters up. "Shura, Leo, look, more friends!" This is amazing, though. Getting to know more people with more guardian characters.

"Okay you're definitely a cool person. Since the cafe's like, almost full, how about we just share a table?" And why not? It doesn't seem like he should push people away. Not when they're interesting and actually have information to further the exploration into the world of cute like she does.

[Sayuri]

"We can ask!" Sayuri said, clapping her hands together at the thought of it all. A classy photo shoot at a brand new cafe, wasn't that the perfect aesthetic? Everyone was always dying to find a cute place to take pictures at, though it was even harder to get an empty area to model in. Sayuri had seen entire streets blocked off just for Faberge photo shoots. Still, from the smiley faces of the cashiers and waitresses it shouldn't be too hard to convince them to take a few pictures, right?

Meanwhile Hoshiko gasped loudly at the other's words, buzzing around Sayuri's head as she tried her best to catch sight of the other's guardians. Two guardians? She was barely born and this guy already had two! She stopped her flying for a moment to raise her hand to her mouth, whistling loudly before retreating back to her place on her student's shoulder. Were they also space rangers, did they like space?

"Ah, so... you also have guardians then..." Sayuri said while the little guardian crawled around. So many people she'd met had them, she almost assumed that her classmates all owned an egg. Still, the other's had a weird name. Shura leo? "I'm really sorry, she's a bit energetic. Hoshiko, calm down, wait to meet the others. They'll come out when they're ready, don't rush them too much." The little guardian just stomped her feet and floated back up again, arms crossed.

Sayuri just sighed as they approached the counter, the cashier looking at the two of them with a cheery expression. "Sharing a table sounds lovely though. Do you know what you want to get?"

"Hell yeah. We are going to get permission, or force the picture in the crowd. Now that you mentioned it, there's no way I can back down." If they do not allow him to take his beloved selfies, then he will force his way through. If they think he doesn't have the reflexes of a god when it comes to taking selfies, they better think again. And again. "You're coming with or not?" Well, even if she would rather sit on the side the entire time while he risks everything for a selfie, she can do that.

"Hey, shitface. What did I tell you about waking me up when I don't want to wake up?" That response made Shun laugh back nervously. "Leo. That's rude. Get out of there. There's a guardian I'd like you to meet. I think you'll actually like this one." Well, they both look like technologically advanced guardians that glow green. Other than that, he's got nothing. "Oh yeah? I'll be the judge of that." There's really no way he would literally say 'no' to meeting new people or guardians. He'd just deny the need to. Like the typical tsundere that he is. 'It's not like I want to meet people, baka' seems more and more like the normal sentence for him.

"Ohhhhh, new friends? Forget Leo. I want to meet them first. You've met too many before me!" Shura, who overheard this, decide to push Leo back into the bag, making his exit first. "I'm okay with being rushed. So is Leo. So don't worry." He responded to Sayuri, who was trying to calm her own guardian character down. "OH! INTROS." He took a most serene pose before bowing down. "Greetings, I am Shura. The gentler and kinder one of the guardian characters of this young man." Of course, this ticked off Leo if he wasn't already ticked off after being pushed back into the bag.

"You know that's bullshit. You may be 'gentle', but let's not forget you have ALL the ulterior motives." He finally made his way out of the bag to confront the other guardian, only to cancel it. He then looked at Sayuri and Hoshiko. He then cleared his throat. Ah yes. He has to be polite. Or at least he'll try to be. "I'm Leo. Ahem. Nice to meet both of you." Regaining his air of formality, he finally greeted them. And all this banter leaves Shun with nothing to say. When these two come out, he really really can't interrupt them. But he'll try. "Shura, Leo. No fighting."

[Sayuri]

"Yes, yes of course!" Sayuri said, smiling to the cashier as she placed her order before following the other to the table. The place was large enough that they could find a nice booth in the back to sit down at. Tucking her skirt under her, she allowed for her little guardian to hop down and walk on the table, scoping the scene with a mini radar. For whatever reason Hoshiko loved taking tiny bits and pieces of places with her. She insisted on calling them 'specimens,' but whether or not she actually experimented on anything she took was a mystery.

The sight of the other's guardians distracted her completely from Hoshiko's actions though and Sayuri let out a quiet gasp. They were just so cute! So he didn't have one strangely named guardian, he had two. Was that even possible? Did that make him a super big egg expert then?! Cooing over them Sayuri smiled and held out a finger to wave at the duo. "Uwaaah, so cute! I can't believe you have two, I've only met people with one so far. It's not to meet you both, I'm Kagawa Sayuri. Please take care of us! Oh, and this is Hoshiko."

She pointed down at the table only to find it empty, the tiny sprite long gone. It was only the sound of a quiet humming in her ear that notified her of her guardian's new location. Hoshiko floated carefully by Sayuri's shoulder, arms crossed as she gave both guardians a long, hard stare. She was never particularly trusting of newcomers but her manners had been improving little by little over time. Whether or not any of that would pay off in the long run was still a mystery.

"Cadet Shura, Cadet Leo! Authorization codes please. This is enemy territory and you can never be too sure of what lurks beyond Seiyo's atmosphere. I'm going to need you both to remove all possible contamination by leaving foreign objects behind before returning to the school. Safety is an absolute priority!" Ignoring her poor student's hands trying to catch her, Hoshiko zipped closer to Shun, flying in loops in front of his face. "And who are you! Another rowdy trainee we have to whip into shape?"

Shun placed his own order too before going to sit down at the table. The place sure is a crowded one, that's for sure. "Oh yeah. I've never really met anyone with two guardians. Does that make it strange?" He wondered. There' bound to be others, but other than himself, he doesn't know who else would have such a thing. "It's what you get for having more than one wish? I guess?" Leo threw a 'hmph' and Shura only smiled at this. "Kagawa Sayuri. And Hoshiko. Nice to meet the both of you." Leo was more direct, while Shura thought it'd be nice to have some confetti to throw to make his big entrance. "A pleasure to make your acquaintances, dears." He said, throwing a bit of glittery confetti in the air. Just a bit. He wouldn't want to get it on their food, much less make a mess.

Huh. This...Guardian. Why is she so strange? But it is somewhat intriguing to Leo. "Proper identification? Authorization codes? I believe you owe me some proper identification as well. If we are cadets, then what are you?" Leo pointed at Hoshiko, ready with a rebuttal. "Enemy territory. While I do not disagree, we cannot just conjure up IDs out of thin air." Shun wanted to laugh at Leo, but held back a snicker. Leo is having fun, it seems. All this authorization codes and tech stuff is right up his alley anyway. "We come in peace. I think negotiations though, are necessary if we are to briefly visit a friendly base. Don't you think?" He gave Shura a kick, and the other responded with a glare and a shrug. Leo might be right at home with this space talk, but not him.

"Eh? Rowdy? Trainee? Um no? I'm not rowdy, nor am I a trainee." But Shun gave Hoshiko a salute anyway. Can't have this space commander feel bad, now can he? "Cadet? That's a first. Monk or priest would usually suit me better. But maybe space monk is better for this occassion." Even he found it adorable that Leo is in his own world thinking he can have this diplomatic peace talk in space. Too much star wars, maybe? Nah. Leo has always been like this. He's just glad that it's not another printer or scanner he's talking to. "There is no 'space monk' rank, you imbecile!" Woah. It's confirmed that Leo is now all the way in Mars, at least. He seems to be taking this seriously. "We are dealing with a foreign...Ambassador of sorts. Best to have manners." Shura and Shun looked at each other and snickered again. This was too funny to watch. Of course, if Shun took a video of this, nothing would appear in the video, probably. Or Leo would realize it and threaten to destroy his beloved phone.

"I also agree that safety is of utmost priority but do tell what it is you mean by...Foreign contaminants. I do keep my fellow 'cadet' and human clean of anything that might otherwise be called a contaminant." Finally, he thought. Someone at the same level of intelligence. Or maybe he's just as off his rockers as she is. They seem to have a very serious conversation that it seemed rude to interrupt. "So what did you get? I got the bear shaped pancakes. And I also got the little octopus sausages. And the really cute looking omelette." Oh wait. He...Got too much. "Oops...Uhh...I couldn't decide. THey were all so cute!"

[Sayuri]

"Well, I've only seen one so far but I don't think two is strange. Doesn't that mean you have double the wishes?" Sayuri wasn't exactly sure how this whole guardian thing worked but it seemed to be based on the dreams one had. She still wasn't sure what her dream was but she had a feeling Hoshiko had something to do with entering Seiyo. The tiny egg had appeared shortly after her enrollment after all and didn't hatch for a year after that. "Besides, they really seem to get along well! Hello you two, it's really nice to meet you--"

"Sayuri, shh! Anything we say can and will be used against us in intergalactic court!" Sayuri gave her tiny guardian a weary look but shut her mouth. She'd long since learned that it was easier for Hoshiko to do... well, whatever it was she was doing than try and stop her. The faster this entire 'authorization' process was over the quicker the guardian would return back to normal. Besides, it seemed to be a one-time scenario in most cases. Once Hoshiko was used to a person she stopped demanding to see legal identification every time.

"I'm the Captain of course! Captain Hoshiko of the ship Eggterprise, reporting for duty! I came to this planet in search of this child here in order to assist her in fighting evil aliens. Though I suppose you're right about those IDs, you two don't look like you carry your omnitools around with you. I suppose I'll have to keep your word for now that you're who you say you are. If I hear anything otherwise you'll definitely regret setting foot in this atmosphere!"

The salute only encouraged Hoshiko to continue though and she puffed out her little chest with pride. With a simple press of her helmet her visor went up and the airlock loosened, allowing her to remove it fully from her head. As it slid off the top a large poof of pink hair fell all the way down her back, a curly mess that seemed to bounce wildly now that it was out of its confines. "Space Monk is a perfectly acceptable title I think. Sounds like a two star.... no, maybe blue shirt sort of deal? We'll have to figure out the ranking later."

Hoshiko had no time to continue though as the waitress brought over their food. She stared in awe at the large glass that held Sayuri's treat. "Oh wow, all of your stuff looks delicious! I tried to stay healthy with a fruit crepe, but with how much whip cream is in it I don't think it's working," She took a single scoop off the side, tearing some of the thin wrapping as she popped it in her mouth, "Mmm, this is really good. Do you want to try some?"
