The student claims to have picked up a haunted game cartridge at used game store featuring a previous clear file of someone called BEN… but you guess it’s probably X-related.
+ Drag them out of their room and force them to go back to classes; the reason doesn’t matter: +4 Guardians, -3 Faberge, +2 Roost
+ Investigate the supposedly-haunted cartridge: -3 Guardians, +3 Faberge, +4 Roost
+ Try and help them before anything else: -2 Guardians, +4 Faberge +3 Roost

Shun didn't really know a bunch of people from the classroom he's in. 2-C, for all he knows, is just really a place full of average joes. He is just one of them. Though he did notice that the one who sits behind him has been missing for a few days, and that's just what the teacher want him to remedy. Why him of all people? Well, maybe it's because he never really failed to be full of energy, who knows that he'll be successful in finding the student and bringing him back out. Well, he's going to need a lot of rainbows and sunshine ammo for this one.

But at least the teacher sent someone else to go with him. If he's not mistaken, they've met before? Isn't he the guy who he told not to attack the eggs at one point? He doesn't really remember. But he looks serious. Probably not one to talk too much. Why does he always get paired with these types of people, he wondered. But whatever. A job is a job and they have to do it. "Okay, so, how are we going to do this? Should we bake cookies and tempt him out or something?" He thought that might work, so why not ask if the other guy's on board with it?

Ryouta likes to think he is a fairly perceptive person. He was surprised to find that he never noticed one of classmates not showing up for a while. Knowing teenagers, they were probably faking an illness or just plain skipping on purpose. What really surprised him, was the fact that he was picked to accompany another classmate in helping. Why? He wasn't a people person at all. This guy next to him looked way more fit to handle it alone.

He stood there silently as he wrapped his head around the situation. He definitely knew this guy from before. Who could forget that cosplay and giant sword? Ryouta sighed as he listened to Shun give ideas. Was he really the same person who looked so cool before? Cookies? Sure many people like cookies, but he doubted that would work. "How about we force our way in an drag them to class. Why be be nice and feed them when they don't deserve it?" he questioned. He really could not understand how Shun came up with cookies as an option. Was he just hungry for them at the moment?

The door to the missing student's room was slammed shut, a strange odor seeping out from underneath as the entire hallway emptied out. Scribbled on a sign attached to the door were the words Do Not Enter. The handle was covered in greasy fingerprints, thumbs marking the edges from previous classmates trying their best to enter. It was clear that visitors weren't welcome and many had come before these two.

Nevertheless, a strange murmuring could be heard inside. It was almost maniacal, as though someone was trying their best to keep their excitement to a minimum as strange electronic noises beeped. Whatever was going on in the room was clearly not natural, but how to get in was another issue. Would they knock? Would they simply break the door down? What path would the students take to even breach the area the missing student had supposedly holed himself up in?

"But...We can convince people to come out and make friends through the power of love and friendship! And what better way to do that than to bake cookies for them?" Clearly Ryouta wanted to just get it over with and drag the student out of the room and maybe take him back to the campus ASAP. "Oh. It says 'do not enter'." As expected. This is probably going to take a while. "EW! Look at that door handle! Don't touch it! It has SO MANY GREASY AND UGLY GERMS ON IT." Clearly they aren't the first to try to get this guy out. Shun pulled a cute little handkerchief out of his pants pocket and wiped the door handle.

"Oh...Did you hear that? That is not how you play games." The murmuring was just creepy. "But I cleaned the door handle. Maybe we should try knocking first?" He knocked on the door anyway. "Hello! It's your friendly neighborhood 2-C students here to tell you about the power of friendship and possibly the wonders of being outside!" He said happily. Maybe they weren't successful cause they weren't nice to whoever is stuck inside? Who knows.

Ryouta watched with a grimace as Shun spouted those sweet words from his mouth. He had no plans of spreading any kind of friendship with this missing student. "Don't speak for me" Ryouta replied as he pushed up his glasses. How was he roped into this situation again? Oh yeah, the teacher is crazy.

Judging by the look of the door and that weird smell coming from the room, it didn't seem like being nice and friendly would really work. As Shun tried the polite way and knocked, Ryouta readied his foot and kicked at the door "OPEN UP!" he yelled.

The knocking on the door led to some scurrying inside but the kick rendered the room completely silent. Of course the entire area was reinforced to withstand the brutal attack from the student but it took several moments for the lock to click. The door opened slowly but surely, creaking open as a bespectacled boy peeked his head out and glanced at the two standing in the hall. His hair was stringy with dirt and he had a smear of who-knows-what on his right cheek. His clothes were dirty with sweat stains apparent under the arms.

He might have been just a regular nerd in another life but now he was absolutely horrific. Wiping at the constant mucus running from his nose, he fixed his glasses and finally spoke up. "What do you guys want?" He asked, a nasal-y lisp accompanying his already arrogant tone, "Can't you guys see I'm busy. Shove off, losers."
