Here she was, once again.
Well actually that was a dumb thing to think - she was here pretty often, being in the Faberge faction and all. But as she walked closer to the black and yellow building, she couldn't help but stop just a few feet away from its gates. Glancing down at the opened document on her phone, she furrowed her brows as the large black type brought her back to the first time she had arrived at the Faberge building. Ironically, it was the very same reason she was here today - to help out at a concert. Maybe she was doing this for brownie points, or maybe she was just doing it because she was a nice person.
Nah, who was she kidding.
Really, she only accepted in order to keep herself busy. Faberge...hadn't felt the same since she broke into Sasaki-san's office and stole her journal. The very same journal that was sitting inside one of her drawers; left there after she hurled the book into it in frustration. She was sure Sasaki-san was bound to notice it soon - and every time she entered the building, she was bracing herself for a page, or a phone call, or a receptionist calling her out - or even security guards grabbing her and forcefully taking her to see the woman. The first-year rubbed her head; that last one sounded highly implausible - she must have been listening to Calli too much.
Instead, as each day passed by without Sasaki-san's call, the more nervous she got; and the more jobs she took on. Whatever she did that for, she didn't know. On one hand, it kept the thoughts of the journal away from her mind, and it gave her a great excuse to use if she ever needed to flee. Not that it would really help, considering if the woman did call her, they would likely tell her to simply leave her post.
It probably was a death sentence coming back here again under the guise of "helping" a Faberge concert. Hah, what a laugh.
Leaning against the gray walls, she looked back to her phone, scrolling through the document with her thumb. She remembered reading something in small print about waiting for other students who were volunteering as well...
