[AQ] Who are you really? [Emi/Yasuko.K]

"What?" Emilia frowned, butting in. She's giving me that look again... Her brows furrowed, feeling a bit uncomfortable with how the girl in front of her responded. Always thinking about what to say and delivering her words carefully. In Emi's opinion, Yasuko should just outright speak her mind because if she had something to say, she should say it! Ironically though, the English girl couldn't bring herself to tell her that- not right now anyways. She pushed it to the side and made a mental note to tell her later if a chance came up and if she even remembered. "A wish? I didn't wish for an annoying pipsqueak!" She complained and stared at Ange. How could something like that have formed from her desires? She just couldn't pin down any relations to it.

Ange did her best to paint the image Calli was describing to her. And her best it was. She imagined a dreamy knight of both the transformation and the guardian character itself. How they'd protect like a guardian and swing down like a warrior, utilizing all sorts of weapons. "EEeeEEEEeeeeee~eeeeeeeEEEKKKk~~!!" The angel squealed as the information poured out of Calli's mouth like a waterfall. "Pirates are soooo cool! Oh, but I hope she doesn't steal..." She frowned a little, unsure of her feelings on the last part. Hearing about this Lapis character made Ange want to meet her even more to bask in the presence and beauty of elegance. She couldn't believe she legitimately sparkles and had to see it for herself! But then her friend paused. A concerning pause. Although it was brief, the Angel was observant when it came to feelings- especially negative ones- and anxiously worried upon seeing Calli's smile disappear. Her small hands clasped over the squire's, pulling her close with Ange's own face right in front of hers. "Calli, is there something bothering you? Do you want to talk about it? I'm here to listen...!" She offered, genuinely concerned.


It seemed the angel had finally calmed down enough with the mood change and all. She nodded along gently and spoke in a soft tone. "Then, I'll just move in with you and Paii!" Problem solved, the angel would totally be okay with them. Besides, the more the merrier, right!? ...Emilia would probably be happy to be away from her too, much to Ange's disappointment.

Emi knocked herself on the head, she had got to stop going off on tangents by herself. Taking deep breaths, she put her nerves at ease then giving a small (yet slightly awkward) smile to Yasuko as thanks for understanding. "Y-You're right. That's a good idea then!" What would be something light and easy to eat while walking? Oh well. She easily dismissed the thought, knowing something would pop up along the way for sure.

Starting with her usual fast and long strides, the girl walked ahead of her pen pal- only remembering to slow down after getting a bit too ahead. The noodle stall wasn't far away but definitely took some walking distance. At their pace, maybe a 20-30 minute walk? She wasn't that good with timing and could only guess, especially if they happened to take any detours or grab a small bite. "So, uh," Her turquoise eyes glanced at the two floating guardians behind them. "Yours is called...?"

Yasuko could only stare at her at the other's answer, pulling her lips into a thin line. Well, she sounded like she really was dreadfully out of the loop. She raised a hand instinctively, her mouth opening as if she was about so say something - but she soon paused, closed her mouth shut again. In fact, the first-year hadn't a clue how to reply to the blonde girl's words. But yet, as she glanced back at the Guardian Characters chattering away, there was something about Emilia's words that reminded her of the past. Hadn't she been in a similar position only a few months ago? She gave a sigh. "Look, why don't we do this. We'll go to grab some dinner, and then I'll tell you all about the Guardian Characters while we eat, yeah...?"

She simply followed after the blonde girl as the other began to walk, but as Emilia took her usual long strides, Yasuko had attempted to match it too, even if it meant taking two steps at a time in order to stay at the same level as the second-year. Though it would soon be obvious that the short girl was beginning to struggle to match her pace, faltering behind her a few steps. She was concentrating so much that she hadn't realised that the other had asked her a question until a full minute later. "O-oh mine?" Yasuko glanced over at the brunette fairy, before scratching her head a little. "Her name's Calli. I guess you could say she's just as...interesting as yours." The girl gave a light shrug.

Calli could only laugh merrily at the other, grinning from ear to ear as the pink fairy squealed. It was so fun to see her gush about the Guardian Characters too! The brunette fairy had never met anyone else who loved others as much as she did too, so she couldn't help but vibrate with excitement just from watching the other! "Yes! Pirates are so cool, right?!" the brunette spite immediately said, her big blue eyes shining bright at the other. "Oh, but uh-" There was a pause, before the Guardian Character averted her gaze away with a nervous laugh. "Paii does uh...kind of steals..." She continued, in a quieter voice; it wasn't something she was particularly fond of either, but then again, wasn't that a pirate's nature? To ask her not to steal would be like asking a dog not to bark. But that didn't matter right now! One day, one day Calli would bring Ange to meet everyone else! Though, that might be soon, if Ange was really serious about moving in with them. Calli's eyes sparkled bright and she grasped the other's hands excitedly. "Really?!" the brunette fairy cried, gripping the other's hands tight. "I'll totally love to share my space with you Ange!!! We could have like our own small Guardian Character sleepover party!! And tell lots of stories and gossip about other people! And I'm totally sure Paii will love rooming with you too!!" Ahhhh this was so fun to think about!!

But the thought of Lapis made her stop, and the Guardian Character couldn't really hide the troubled expression on her face. "A-ah, it's--" she began, surprised she was that the other had noticed. There was yet another pause, before she heaved a big sigh. "She's...she hadn't been herself," she started, eyebrows furrowing as she said that. That was enough of a truth, in a sense.

WEEPS MY DEEPEST APOLOGIES!! IM IN THE MIDDLE OF EXAMS BUT I HAVE ONE LEFT UNTIL FREEDOM//CLENCHES FIST))

It was clear the other girl wanted to say more and had a lot to say on this matter. The blonde girl wasn't particularly interested but felt obligated to listen-- it was definitely something she had to hear and catch up on. After all, it'd be terrible if all these happenings occurred without having a single idea what was going on! Giving a delayed response, Emi nodded in agreement with Yasuko. "Mm'kay, let's do that then."

Unfortunately, the not-so-bright girl didn't seem to notice her Japanese friend's struggles of keeping up with her. She thought her reply was oddly late but didn't pay enough attention to it to figure out the reason why. "Calli? Who names these things anyways..." She muttered, more of a rhetorical question if anything. "Uh...huh." Emi agreed slowly, staring Calli up and down. "So, she's like...Greek? Roman?" She threw guesses based on the fairy's fashion.

"Oh no!" Ange dramatically gasped, her hands pressing up against her cheeks in surprise. "Stealing is a terrible act to do! I'll have to have a word with her when we meet." She made a mental note and nodded seriously, affirming her goal. Despite this, she was as smooth as a river with the mood change! Squeezing Calli's hands tightly, she hovered up and down in the air. "Oh, yes, yes, yes~! That sounds absolutely grand!! I'd love to hear your stories-- and Paii's adventures too, perhaps~!? AHHHH I'D LOVE TO HEAR EVERYONE'S STORIES!! And of course, share some of my own!" She winked playfully at the last part but was dead serious about moving in.

And again, the angel adapted her tone with the shift of atmosphere. "What...do you mean?" She asked carefully, her face full of concern. The pure guardian character wondered if this was a hard conversation to have for her newly made friend. She didn't want to push her but she knew that talking it out would be better than bottling it all in. Holding Calli's hands tighter, the grip delivered was to assure her that everything would be alright.

((IT'S OKAY I'VE BEEN BUSY TOO CRIES

The first-year was having a hard time to keep up with her blonde friend, yet she still didn't give up on trying to catch up anyways. But the girl actually paused at the other's words, blinking as her mind mulled over it...until she realised she had basically stopped in the middle of walking. Now the second-year was way ahead and she had to skip forwards - how undignified, Yasuko thought but she had too much of a stubborn ego to ask the other to slow down - in order to catch up again. "I mean--" she began as she struggled in her attempt. "I have honestly no idea--" She quickened her pace once more. "She had simply hatched one day and called herself Calli. I guess I never questioned it." Which she should have, now that she thought about it. "I'm not sure what she is either. I don't know why she dresses like one of those...Greek or Roman people. A question better directed at her probably." She was much too behind again...and attempted once more to catch up by skipping forwards. "How...How far is this place?" she asked, a little out of breath.

"O-Oh um--" Calli suddenly said, her hands in the air as if trying to dismiss such an idea. "I-I'm not sure if Paii would like that," she said anxiously, scratching her cheek. But judging from the other's determined nod, the brunette fairy wasn't sure if saying that would deter her. Yet, the moment the pink fairy mentioned stories, Calli perked up and squeezed the other's hands excitedly. "Yes yes yes!!" she said with a bright smile. "I'll tell you all!!! I write everything that happens onto my scrolls!!! If you come over, I could show you all of them and you can read whichever one you want!!! I have scrolls on like everybody I meet!" She gave another beaming smile. But her eyes widened - and began to sparkle with enthusiasm. "Yes of course!!! You have to tell me everything!!! EVERYTHING!!!"

The brunette fairy hesitated. Luckily Yasuko was far too concentrated on keeping up with Emilia that she hadn't noticed their conversation at all. "Lapis has..." she started, but she stopped, as if trying to blink back tears. She hadn't talked about this with anyone, but remembering how Miuna had gone X was hard to shallow. "Lapis has...become...corrupted..." she finally admitted, her eyes downcast as she floated dejectedly along after the two Seiyo students.

Finally, it dawned on her that she was walking at a much faster pace than the girl. It had continuously weirded her out how Yasuko's replies were short, choppy and sometimes sounding troubled. It all made sense now...her actions were probably seen as rude and inconsiderate. She wasn't very good at picking up on others'...statuses. "I, uh--" She started and figured she should physically pause. "Sorry." Emi awkwardly scratched her cheek as she waited for her to catch up. "Maybe...she's a mini Greek Goddess?" The English girl guessed to pick up on their small talk. She actually had no idea about the history and mythology of Greek or Roman deities-- classics and studies had never been her thing after all.
"Oh, uh!!" Emi looked ahead, trying to estimate the distance. "Not long- just ahead, turn next corner and uh...yeah." Something like that anyways. Directions were hard to give but she knew where she was going. Feeling bad for the shorter girl, she offered to carry her bag. Hand out and directly, "yo, uh, Yasuko? Yeah, you want me to carry your bag or something??"


"OH, GOODNESS, I'LL READ THEM ALL!!" The angel exclaimed and did a mini dive in the air. "How detailed are these scrolls? Oh my goodness, do you have like a personal library? Profiles on everyone? I looooove learning!!" She somehow managed to ask all in one breath. "I will, I will, I will!!" It began to sound like these two were a match made in heaven and her last repeated "I will"'s resembled marriage proposals of "I do"'s.

Ange could feel her small heart breaking at the expression on Calli's face. She sympathized with her friend as if the issue was her own. "C-C-Corrupted...!?" She echoed, concern and slight panic in her voice. Taking deep breaths, she tried to calm down and process all the information level-headedly. What did corrupted mean? It couldn't be that...Lapis' owner, Miuna, lost sight of her dream, of herself? That was the only known way to her for corruption of a guardian character. This was certainly serious business. "If you don't mind me asking, how?" She whispered gently and placed a comforting hand on Calli's shoulder.

((AYYYY THAT'S GOOD TO HEAR!!! ;v;

Yasuko was concentrating so hard on catching up to Emilia that she hadn't realised that the other had stopped at first - until she looked up and noticed that yes, the second-year had paused in the middle of walking. What a relief she immediately thought, before she allowed herself a burst of speed so that she could finally finally reach the other Seiyo student. The moment she did, she immediately stopped and had to pause for a moment just to catch her breath. Honestly, why wasn't she born with longer legs? That would have been easier instead of trying to run after people who were taller and walked too fast. "It...it's fine," she said, straightening herself up. But at the other's comment about the nature of her fairy, she actually paused, blinking back at her. Huh, a Greek goddess. Why hadn't she thought of that before? "Maybe..." she said, a hand on her chin in thought. Yasuko loved everything related to mythology, but her interest had waned halfway through middle-school, wanting to focus on her school work and for her goal. Maybe she could search up on that later.

The first-year nodded at the other's directions, turning to look at where she was pointing before she turned her head back towards Emilia again. "If that's the case, let's go," she said. She wanted to get there quickly; if at least to rest her tired legs from trying to catch up to Emilia this whole time. But a part of her wanted to talk to her about all the Guardian Characters...to at least bring her up to speed about it all. Having an egg-bearer who didn't know anything was honestly asking for trouble. But the girl's offer made her stop in her tracks. "Huh?" was her perplexed response. Carry her bag? No, that wouldn't be like an independent woman right? She could bring her own bag around no problem! "No it's fine," she said, waving a hand dismissively. "I can carry it myself."

The brunette fairy beamed back at Ange. She couldn't believe she had met another Guardian Character who loved learning about others like she did! She loved talking about them - a trait that Yasuko herself found incredibly annoying and would shut her up once she had dissolved into a spazzing ramble about anyone in particular. Now she could fangirl about every single Guardian Character and Seiyo student she met to someone! "Yes, yes they are!!" Calli said, gripping the other's hands tightly. Oh man, this was so exciting!! "I have like a library of scrolls! Well kind of--" Did a haphazard line of scrolls in the corner of a drawer count as a library? Ah who cares. "You have to come over now!! I'll let you read them all!!! And we can talk about all the people and everything in school!!!"

If only she could continue talking about scrolls and libraries. Calli averted her gaze away, unsure of how to continue. "I...I don't know," she admitted, her expression downcast. She really didn't; they weren't there when Miuna became corrupted at the train station in West Oto. They knew nothing of what happened there to be honest. They only knew through Twitter. "But she's been...I mean...I haven't seen them at all. I don't know how they are, or anything." She looked about ready to cry. "I'm so worried about them...! I don't want this to be the end of Lapis and Miuna!"

Gosh, now the English girl was really feeling bad looking at the puffed state Yasuko was in. Her brows furrowed and she couldn't help frowning a little. Usually others weren't her business but if this girl was going to make any friends at all, she'd need to start getting into others just a bit more. "You don't seem fine." She muttered to herself mainly while tugging on a lock of her blonde hair. It seemed her little guess had struck a chord in the Japanese girl as she paused momentarily, apparently in thought.

"If...If you're sure." Emilia replied, sizing the shorter girl up and down with her turquoise gaze. Her tone was evidently skeptical towards Yasuko's answer but she respected her decision. 'Cos hey, she offered at least! A quick imagination shot through her mind. Yeah, no...Emi was not going to offer to carry the girl to the ramen shop. No way, that'd be way too embarrassing for both girls. Shoving the thought aside, the blonde quickly proceeded ahead to the direction of the restaurant before remembering to slow down for her partner.


Was that an invitation? It was in Ange's mind! "Alright, alright, it cannot be helped~!" She tried to make it sound more modest but her excitement and eagerness was seeping through. "After eating, let's head to you and Miss Yasuko's place!!" The angel quickly offered on the end, "And then next time we meet, you two can come over to ours! And then to yours, then back at ours and-- an endless cycle of happiness and fun~!" Her eyes glittered like a thousand galaxies as she and Calli were like in a new world by themselves.


"Oh no!" Immediately dashing over to Calli, the petite angel took her into her arms and rubbed her back tenderly. She was good at taking care of others and comforting people like a mother. Although sometimes that trait of hers was irritating to her owner but that was besides the point at the moment. "It won't be the end of either Lapis or Miuna, Calli! Please have faith, they will be fine...!" Of course, she didn't actually have any way of knowing but this angel was always optimistic and full of hope.

Unfortunately their touching moment didn't last long at all as Emilia cut the mood down. "Uh, I hate to break it to you two dwarves but we're here." Her thumb pointed at the place behind her which was a small side-street store. The cloth hanging from above had the katakana characters for RA ME N on it and the fragrance drifting from behind the sliding doors was definitely Japan's most popular noodles. Emilia inhaled the scent deeply through the nose and exhaled from the mouth with a big "aah!" She could practically taste it on her palate, making her mouth water. Wasting no time, Emi grabbed Yasuko's arm and pulled her into the mini restaurant. "In we go-- Afternoon!!" Her loud voice called out to the staff who'd greeted them with a warm welcome. "I'm here again today!" She exclaimed and sat her friend down in the stool next to her.

Luckily Ange had snatched Calli up to zoom through the gap in the door before it shut and they got left behind outside. However, surely they couldn't be out in the open, could they? Ange being inexperienced, wasn't sure who could or couldn't see her so Emi had hidden her from the public eye in general. As a reflex, she dived into her owner's bag while still holding onto her BFF's hand and tried to calm her nerves.

"H-hey wait--!" Yasuko yelped as she was immediately pulled into the shop, stumbling after her blonde friend. She could walk in by herself, thank you very much! Yet she never said a word, too bewildered she was by Emilia yanking her inside and before she knew it, she was already seated right next to the blonde girl. All she did was stare at Emilia and at the restaurants' interior, blinking as she registered its decor. She had never been here, she was sure; then again she mostly ate at home so it was a given. She scratched her head. She supposed she should start ordering right? But she hadn't a clue what to order.

The brunette fairy nodded slowly at Ange's words. She wanted to believe that everything will be okay, but with how things were going, she wasn't sure anymore if they could. Calli gave a gasp as Ange suddenly zoomed into the shop, and gave another yelp when the other pulled her into Emilia's bag. "Wah!" she cried, as she crash-landed into what she had assumed was the girl's books and stationary, yet miraculously the pink fairy was still managing to hold onto her hand. Man, she had never been graceful when it came to landing onto her feet. "Owie--" she said, rubbing her back. Why did Ange dive into the bag? That she didn't know, but she simply assumed the other probably had a good reason! "Oh!" she suddenly said, as she looked around the bag. "This is Emilia's bag, isn't it?" she asked, her eyes sparkling, as if she temporarily forgotten about the sad topic that they had been talking about earlier.

Finally the first-year noticed the menu up front - and she stared at it, frowning, unsure of what to order. She looked back at the blonde girl, as if about to ask her about the restaurant's food, until a far more important question popped into her mind. "Um," she suddenly said, looking around. A wave of panic settled over her; and she looked left and right for the fairies. She didn't know about Ange, but she knew Calli well - and the brunette sprite had an uncanny ability to disappear and get lost somewhere, which would lead to hours of searching before she could find her. "Where did the Guardian Characters go?"

It was a simple place. A few chairs and tables with chopsticks and serviettes placed in cups for customers to self-set up. A long, square bench sat at the end of the shop, the borderline between the kitchen and restaurant area. Obviously, the English girl got them front seats so they could watch meals being prepared! "Alright old man, so I'm gonna have the usual-- pork tonkatsu ramen! And she's gonna have...?" Emilia glanced over at the girl seated next to her. Her japanese friend seemed a bit dazzled from trying to keep up with Emi's fast pace so she tried to help her out a bit in turn. "Yasuko, you can choose whatever noodles you feel like eating: ramen, udon, soba...stir-fried, in soup etc. If you want to be picky, you can choose how much soy sauce goes in them, how thick/chewy you want them, how big of a bowl--" Her finger pointed around the menu and signs, showing experience.

"Goodness, gracious me! I'm terribly sorry about the landing, Calli! I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me, I was just so anxious and--" The small angel started going on and off about being seen and how she always hid, just in case. "Oh! But I'm not scared of humans or anything, I assure you that! In fact, I would love to converse with everyone...even animals!" Ange quickly added in and realized the other was ogling around the enclosed space. "Yes, it is but...there isn't much to look at here." She smiled with a sweat drop. Her words were true, while the bag did contain a light pencil case and barely filled books, everything was kept at a minimum. The guardian character's owner was obviously not the studious type.

But apparently there was an issue more important than food at the moment. The dark-haired girl brought up a concerning question, making Emi freeze on the spot. "Oh sh-- um." Her turquoise eyes also darted around nervously, hoping to see them in sight somewhere. "Gimme a sec-" The blonde cut herself off and dashed outside, her head whipping left and right, up and down. She didn't want to scream 'oiii midgets where are you' because it'd make her look crazy, so instead she harshly whisper-shouted "Thing...!? Stupid angel?? A-Ange?!? Oi!!"

With not-so-good timing, Ange popped her head out from between the zipped sides of the bag. Her right hand waved a little at Yasuko as she called her over with a soft voice. "M-Miss Yasuko, over here!" But where had Emilia gone?

All Yasuko did was stare at the menu, trying to make sense of it, as the smells and the loud sounds of cooking filled both her nose and her ears. It wasn't exactly something she was used to, for she was more used to the meals at home, yet she didn't hate it regardless. The only thing she really didn't understand was the menu. But at the sound of Emilia's voice, the girl looked back at the second-year with a puzzled expression. Only for it to become even more confused, as the other pointed out the various options that were available. Wow, there were...a lot of ways to customise your noodles. Yet, all she did was blink in a bewildered manner, her eyebrows furrowed as she stared at the menu again. "Um you know what," she finally said, shaking her head. "I'll just have the same thing she's having," the first-year continued, pointing over at the blonde girl.

Calli slowly got up from her position - and nearly stumbled, for she had perched precariously on top of the edge of a book - before she looked back up at Ange with wide eyes. No no, it was all okay!! She was okay, the other didn't need to apologise! "I'm fine!" she quipped with a bright smile, immediately twirling around to show how okay she was - and nearly fell once again, for she had forgotten that she was still indeed on top of the edge of a book. "Whoops! I'm real okay though!!" She quickly said. But as the other began to explain her actions, the brunette fairy stopped and tilted her head. Wait, what? Was this why she was hiding? "Oh but-" she began, her eyebrows furrowing. "I thought most people can't see us unless they have Guardian Characters themselves," she said, obviously puzzled. Though now that she thought about it, that had stayed true the whole time she had been interacting with others; she could never get the attention of students who didn't have Guardian Eggs, no matter how much she shouted and buzzed around them. But at the angel fairy's words, she quickly took a look around - and realised that somehow she had managed to perch on top of the edge of a book when there was barely anything else in the bag. What a coincidence. "Well!" Calli beamed back at Ange. "Isn't it great? It just means that Emilia doesn't like books much! And that's just her and her personality! A unique one right? And different from Yasuko!" Her eyes were sparkling; the blonde girl was becoming more and more interesting to the brunette fairy.

Yasuko stared with a slightly panicked look as Emilia got up and ran outside. Man, where did they go? Until that is, she heard a familiar voice - and she looked down at Emilia's bag. "Oh!" Yasuko said; before another worried look descended upon her face. "But where's Calli?" Her question was soon answered by the sounds of struggling - but soon enough Calli's head popped out of the bag. "I'm here!!" the brunette fairy said, trying to unzip the bag further so that she could get out. It was nice to take a look around the bag, but the sounds of cooking and the aroma of food was also just as enticing!

The first-year visibly relaxed; so the brunette fairy hadn't gone off by herself at all! But Emilia thought that they were outside! "Wait, I think uh--" she paused, frowning. How did she pronounce her name again...? "--Your uh owner has gone out-" she said, standing up. "Stay here," she said sternly, though it was more directed at Calli than anything else. Quickly, she went out of the store, spotting the blonde girl immediately. "Hey!" she called, pointing back towards the restaurant. "They were in your schoolbag."

Ahh actually, I'll be on a plane tonight and won't be back until a couple of months so this will be my last reply in a while;;; I'm so sorry for the inconvenience and all the waiting around djfasokld butbut, have a good day!!))


"Oh my!" Ange gasped when Calli almost toppled over and made a move to catch her. Luckily the little squire had balanced herself out without falling completely. Letting out a sigh of relief with a hand on her chest, the angel was thankful as she spoke. "That is such a relief to hear you're doing fine..." Her purple eyes looked up and noticed her BFFL's quizzical look. "Oh! Oh my!" She gasped once again, hands clapping together with realization. "Calli, that makes so much sense! So, all those times I was pushed into Emilia's bag was completely unnecessary?" The angel fairy was delighted to know she could fly freely from now on without being stuffed into the lonely space.
"Well, yes but I do believe Emilia should strive a little harder in her studies..." Just thinking about her owner's grades made her own small body feel heavier. "On the contrary, I'm sure Miss Yasuko is brilliant in academics!" She brightened up, thinking Calli's owner must be amazing!

The petite angel's tiny hand waved at Yasuko from inside the bag. Calli had shown up in time to disperse all worry on the girl's face but Ange had thought this was a nice act. It showed Emilia's new friend was a caring person! But then the brunette was gone as well and in turn, making Ange the worried one. "Perhaps we should exit this bag?" She suggested softly to Calli, already pushing the sides of the zip apart. 

The blonde girl was scavenging through the bushes outside for any miniature fairies until she heard a familiar voice call out to her. "Huh? No. You're kidding!?" She groaned in disbelief and looked inside the restaurant to see Ange and Calli crawling out of her school bag. "Goshdarnit, what a waste of time...!" Scowling, Emi brushed her hands off and strode back indoors.


Emilia sat back into her stool feeling restless and impatient for her order, unsure if they were going to have their 'serious talk' before or during the food. She couldn't help her foot from tapping the side of the bench they sat at, for she had too much energy to go around despite the school day having just ended. It occurred to the girl that she'd left before she could hear Yasuko's order, so she checked the slip of paper on the kitchen's side to see it said 'Pork Tonkatsu Ramen x2.' "Hey-hey! That's a good choice." Emi spoke up, trying to elate the mood somewhat. "This place has the best soup noodles and my fav's the pork tonkatsu!" She grinned, almost confident everyone, including Yasuko, would love the same flavour that she did. "Gah! I just realized- is there anything you can't eat? Like, allergic or somethin'?" It was kind of obvious the blonde deliberately wasn't giving any attention to the midgets at this point- they'd riled her up enough...more of the blame to Ange though. Because to her, it was always the cherub's fault.

Calli slowly blinked at the pink fairy - before her lips curled into a smile and she began a string of giggles. Ange was so cute! To think, that angel-like fairy had thought that everyone, including those without Guardian Characters, could see them this whole time! "You're funny!" the brunette fairy chimed, laughing away after she spoke. "I guess you could say that, but hey!! It's so spacious and cozy in here, so I don't see why it's bad thing to lounge around here anyway!" Calli said, giggling as she allowed herself to land on her back with a soft pampf.

But the brunette fairy soon sat up, blinking a little back at Ange as she tilted her head slightly to the side in confusion. Was it a bad thing for someone's grades not to be of a higher percentage? The sprite tilted her head again to the other side as her eyebrows furrowed in thought. "Well..." Calli began before she raised a finger to the air in a bright manner. "I'm sure she must have something that she's good at! If it's not studies, it's something else! Like sports, or crafting, or drawing, or cooking, or or or--!" Her eyes were shining, her mind imagining all of the various hobbies that Emilia might engage in.

Yet the moment Ange mentioned Yasuko, the sprite immediately perked up, her eyes sparkling bright as she nodded vigorously at the angel fairy's words. "Yes!!" Calli said with a wide smile, jumping to her feet in an excited manner. She loved to fangirl and gushed over everyone, but the topic of Yasuko was always one of her favourites! "Yasuko's really great at everything studies!!" The sprite chirped, throwing her hands up into the air in exhilaration. "She always studies real hard!! And always real early too so that she can maintain her grades!!!"

"Oh yes!!" Calli agreed easily, allowing the angel fairy to pull open the zip so that they could exit out.


Yasuko only twiddled her thumbs a little as she stared absent-mindedly at the menu in front of them. Now that they were seated - and have discovered where the tiny sprite had went - it was time to talk about the Guardian Characters right? But she realised belatedly that she hadn't really a clue how to start it. Well, sure she had started some conversations before, but there wasn't a guarantee that they would result in a good ending.

Umm.

But Emilia's words startle her slightly.

"Oh! Um-" she started, flicking her gaze down to the slip on the table and back towards the second-year. Really she had no idea what to order to begin with - as nice as customisable orders were, Yasuko always found those the most difficult, for she honestly didn't care too much about the flavour of something, as long as it tasted decent. "Uhh--" she began again, backing away a little from the way the blonde had asked the question. "I uh-well-" This was a little hard of a question to answer. With her asthma, she was sure she had other allergies hidden away somewhere, but she would rather not think about it. Nor was she entirely comfortable with talking about it. "I don't...think so anyway." It wasn't a lie at least.

There was another silence as the sound of noodles being tossed and cooked filled the air.

"How long had you have your...Guardian Character?"

It was a start.

I'm really sorry about this and all the inconveniences I've caused for you. I'm also really thankful to you for being so patient and keeping up with me-- and I've also had a lot of fun RPing with you while getting to know your characters, Yasuko and Calli!
