What were the odds he was going to regret this? Maybe a solid, six out of ten. Maybe a eight out of ten when you take in the fact he's going alone. Was it a good idea? No, probably not. He could easily be jumped by some egg breakers, he would be easy to single out. Yet even with that idea in his head he couldn't being himself to text anybody for help. It's not that he didn't trust them, or that he couldn't rely on them. That wasn't it. He just felt better only having to worry about himself and Taiki. No tag along, no other party's, just him and his would be self.
Daichi made his way to the train station in a casual manner. He sported a simple outfit, a plain grey v-neck and a pair of worn down jeans, and his red sneakers he always wore. A black messenger bag hung close to his side, it too looked odd and worn out. Then again it was a hand-me-down from his brother Takehiko who never really cared for it. Inside Taiki's egg sat, tucked next to a bag of bandages and Daichi's pencil bag.
As the boy walked on to reach the station, he remember the last few times he came here. Not too long ago a few of his friends left the Seiyo, he wanted to see them off before they left. The boy still had the key chains he got from a capsule toy machine, hanging on his phone. Just as a reminder. He remember seeing of both his brothers when they left to live there own life's, far away from him. Every time some one was always leaving him. It hurt, though he doesn't know why. He shouldn't be right? Everyone was just trying to do what was best for them. He doesn't know why he was hurt over that.
Maybe it was just teenager hormones or something.
Pushing forward he pulled out his OR line pass from his wallet. Scanning it he moved forward through the station and toward the train that would take him into West Otonoki. As he got there he waited behind the big yellow line with many many others he still had a bit before the train arrived. What exactly was he trying to accomplish? Well it was a pretty basic. He was going to investigate. Again he was looking for answers. He wanted to know what was going on. He didn't want to be left in the dark. You can't ask him to just sit on his hands and wait for the answers to fall in his lap.
If he did nothing, he would get nothing. That was guaranteed. If the hero acted though, he might find something. Something was always better then nothing. A faint vibration could be heard coming from his pocket. Procuring it from said pocket, he read the text on screen. It was from Uneo, Ekewaka. Daichi had texted him earlier about him leaving and tell him that if he didn't call back later on to get the Takeo or the others to find him. As depressing as it sounded, he wanted to have a back up plan. Just in case.
D! I just got ur txt wait for meee!! I wanna come pls!!
He thumbed a message back.
I'm already here and waiting for the train. Also you just got your egg im not letting you come, Waka.
He waited for a response. Holding his phone in his hand, the watching as the '...' bubble showed up at the bottom.
(ఠ్ఠ ˓̭ ఠ్ఠ) fine im just gonna cry in the corner of my room, u did this, this is ur fault, for shame
Daichi laughed slightly, Waka still hasn't changed a bit. After what three years of knowing him?-- Suddenly the crowd around him pushed forward as the train arrived, all eager to get going. He quickly texted his friend back.
Train is here. Ill be back later. Text you when I get the chance.
He didn't wait for a reply. As the train ahead of him came to a full stop. He followed suit with everyone else around him and got on.
