The small hero fairy Taiki, had wandered off from his kid for the time being. Daichi himself was taking it easy in his cooking club room. It wasn't a club day actually, Daichi just wanted to cook something for lunch the next day and being the vice president he of course had his own key to the room. Granting him the use of the kitchen at anytime. Not that Taiki didn't want to stick around, he just wanted to do a bit of adventuring on his own. So he had left the boy alone to do his thing.

He flew around the school which was mostly empty. Most kids had gone to clubs, or left entirely. Few remained, the ones that did hung out in class rooms, some by the vending machines. Though none of them looked to interesting to talk to. The hero looked for some of his own kind but fell short, he pouted. " Boo..." He hung in the air sadly with his arms drooping. Then taking in a breath he straighten back up with hands on his hips, he wouldn't give up just yet!

As he continued on, looking for a companion to talk to or to go an adventure with-- He still found no one. Just as he was about to turn around--then, and only then did he see a dark tuff of hair that reminded him of a jellybean lover down one of the hallways. Excitedly he flew over to the third year, " Juonny!!" He cried happily before plopping himself down on the others head softly. " Fancy meeting you here," He grinned peeking over Juon's hair to look at him. " Hows it going?"

[Juon]

Juon hadn't been too keen on having ended up on delivery duty for his homeroom teacher; sure, it was lunch period, and he was technically supposed to be free, and he never really ate a lunch during lunch (as he just snacked all day instead, much to the distaste of his teachers), but he still wanted to laze and enjoy the free period, dammit!

But of course, he couldn't say no--and though Clip was around, he didn't seem to take any action toward Character Changing him out of it. "Get in good with the teacher!" he'd snickered, as they started down the hallway. "That'll help you out."

Though the small sprite had a point, Juon still sighed; it was still a pain to go all the way to the other side of the school, no less down to the first floor. He'd already made it mostly there, until another small sprite seemed to meet him right as he came out from the stairwell.

"Taiki?" he piqued, looking up to see Fujiwara Daichi's Guardian Character staring him (and Clip) in the face. "What'd you call me?" but he didn't seem to be waiting for an actual answer. An eyebrow was raised, but he tried not to treat the appearance with too much skepticism. "It's..." he started. "--going alright, I guess. What are you doing here?"

"Hey!" Clip then chirped, floating out to meet the other fairy. "Well well, look what we've got!"

[Daichi]

" I'm giving Daichi a break so I thought I might find someone to hang out with for the time being-" The little fairy voiced, " So here I am!" He grinned before another fairy floated into his sight. Immediately Taiki pushed himself up on Juon's head. Smiling from ear to ear, " Hi! You must be Juonny's guardian - Nice to meet you finally!" The hero carefully looked at the other, noting the others outfit and charm. What a interesting character. " Nice scarf!" Taiki chimed while he took out his notebook from behind his shield and began to write.

A hero was only as good as the journal he wrote in. He always did this, anytime there was a new person Daichi or himself meet, Taiki would write about them in the tiny notebook of his. It was a record, something to go back to when memory fails. The hero thought it was a good idea to help his forgetful kid in the long run.

" Say say-- Shouldn't you two be eating lunch?" Taiki asked. " Or are you guys just using this time to go on an adventure?"

[Juon]

"I'm Clip!" the sprite immediately piqued in introduction, crossing his arms and puffing himself up to look mightier. "And it is a nice scarf! And it's just mine, so don't go getting any ideas, huh?" He shifted to grab the ends of his scarf in his gloved hands, petting it fondly. He reached to offer it toward Taiki, though, if he wanted to touch it, but he seemed to be quite determined to keep it to himself otherwise.

Juon looked quizzically to the notebook the Guardian Character had pulled out, though, studying it carefully as it was rapidly written in--considering the timing, he could only guess that he was writing about Clip, which made Juon feel a bit sick to his stomach. He could only ponder in horror the kind of first impression the other was having, already assuming the worst, as he always did.

"Oh, uh--" he was snapped out of his pessimism at the question that was brought up, though, looking around the hallway to check for anyone around (as, after all, he was talking to air in the eyes of anyone who couldn't see Guardian Characters). "I'm making a, uh, " he held up the papers he was scheduled to be delivering. "For a teacher. Where's Daichi, anyway?"

[Daichi]

" Wah! Thats a cool name!" Taiki exclaimed, though it was kinda strange it was certainly more memorable being different like that. Nonetheless he wrote the name down in his notebook right above all the other writing on the page. "Eh? I wouldn't dream of it- It would be awful mean to take something you like away from you." He voiced, tucking his pen behind his ear and then reaching out to touch the scarf carefully, before pulling back his hand. " It's kinda soft!" He stated.

The hero's attention was pulled back to the teen next to him. He closed his notebook and put it back in his rightful place behind his shield. " I see, I see! You guys are making a delivery! I hope im not slowing you down." He mused before replying to the others question, " Oh Dee is in the cooking club room! He's making lunch. He didn't have time the other day to do it cause he was training! But better late then never!~" He chimed.

[Juon]

"You bet it is! It's a great name," Clip went on to snicker to himself in a fit of devious giggles. They stopped abruptly as he noted Taiki writing it down, among other things, only wondering what kind of secrets that notebook might hold. "Hey, what's in that? Lemme see," he then prompted, reaching out with gloved grabby hands toward the small notebook, aiming to grapple at any part of it he could find until he could get it in his own hands to look over, regardless if Taiki was willing to give it up or not.

Juon meanwhile had ushered them to keep moving--as, again, talking to thin air in a hallway was weird--while they chatted; Juon was on his way to the first floor teacher's office anyway: which was right next to the cooking club room, so he could probably drop Taiki back off there when they went (and maybe toss a wave Fujiwara's way; he'd stop in, but he still needed to get back to his food in his classroom too).

"Does he make lunch every day?" he prompted the guy's Guardian Character, though. "Seems like a hassle..."

He paused, though, before turning to the other more fully. "Hey, Taiki," he started, expression hardening a bit at the sudden point he was struck to bring up, "what exactly kind of wish do you embody, anyway?"

[Daichi]

What a prideful fairy, Taiki didn't really mind though he also seemed to chuckle as the other one did. When the thief reached for his notebook he pulled away or at least attempted to but the notebook did end up in the hands of the other's. Though if Clip were to open it he would find notes on almost everyone Daichi meet, students, guardian characters, X-eggs, events that held some importance. The only draw back was, was that most of the writing wasn't as legible as one might think. Key words could be read such as names. However long small text flowed together almost to well. Leaving anything of importance a mystery. Taiki try to swipe it out of the others hand!" Oi! be careful with that- If you wanted to look at it you could have just asked."

The little fairy looked to the egg holder as they continued down the hall. " Well Dee likes to cook! It's also way easier for him to make his on lunch rather then buy it! He doesn't have the money to do that every day. " Taiki voiced simply floating along with the two contently. Keeping an eye on Clip and his notebook.

When Juon looked at him full on Taiki tilled his head to the side, then as he was addressed he grinned at the boy. " Hi, Juon!" he chuckled. The following question was a bit sudden, Taiki however seemed rather pleased the other asked. Putting his hands on his hips, he smiled proudly. " A wish to be a hero, of course!" Taiki mused over what he was going to say next before he added to his statement. " I mean I know I dont really look like a hero. I don't have any armor, or anything flashy like that. But I'm a hero through and through!"

[Juon]

'He doesn't have the money to do that every day,'--the statement that had followed the fact of Daichi making lunch daily struck him oddly. He felt as if he'd just heard something he wasn't supposed to, or that he had learned something that was maybe more personal than it should've been. It made him wonder, again, just how much he actually knew about Daichi--but as he learned more, it seemed like his picture kept getting clearer.

Daichi was a good kid.

"A hero, huh," Juon echoed. "What kind of hero?"

There were all sorts of heroes--and even though Taiki said himself that he didn't maybe look like one, there were plenty of types of heroes outside of the ones that looked specifically looked the part.

"A superhero?" Clip was quick to voice the last guess in Juon's mind, but he seemed pretty excited about it. "The do-gooding kind? Pheh, being a thief is way better! Who needs justice when you can have everything to yourself!"

"Quiet, you," Juon was quick to swat him away again, irritated at the implications he was making, especially in front of his friend's Guardian Character--who, worryingly, still seemed to be writing down everything that was said.

[Daichi]

Taiki grins brightened. " Well, it's kinda of hard to explain, in all honesty." The little fairy put his hand to his chin. " It's not like a hero, hero, but rather what Daichi views as 'heroic' and 'hero-like'. If that makes sense." The little hero seemed more then comfortable to share this kinda thing with Juon. He knew Daichi would never talk so much about himself to anyone unless they really really insisted on the matter. His kid was an open book, but with pages missing, the parts he didn't want anyone to read. Leaving Taiki to provide others with information Daichi would never willingly (or knowingly) give up. 

" You see, the kinda of 'Hero' I am, and the kinda of 'Hero' Daichi will become, are kinda different. Just a tiny bit." He started. " But at the core, they are the same." He held up his fingers to count down the reasons. " First, he wants be apart of a story! Like be active in peoples lives and offer help and sometimes even guidance! Sitting on the sidelines is so, SO, boring. You can't live like that at all! No sir!"

" Second, He wants to be strong! Not as in a hunger for power but, enough to stand on his own and protect his friends! Daichi is pretty tough and he doesn't really mind all the rough and tumble, stuff that comes with being a Hero. If he's strong can always get back up!" There was a pause, " Hmmm, Third, he want's to be heard. People always listen to Heroes." He nodded to himself. " I could go on but I think thats the simplest way to put it for now."

Taiki giggled. " Kinda like a superhero, but Daichi isn't really driven by his view in justice! Not enough to get so quickly carried away by those ideas that is. " He tucked his hands behind his head and smiled at Clip. " Thiefs are pretty cool! They can also be a type of 'hero' in their own way. Anyone can be a hero if they want to~" Taiki felt that was undeniably true. Anyone, even a selfish thief could be a hero. Being selfish was a hero aspect too after all. 

[Juon]

"... That sounds like him," came Juon's subtle smirking reply.

So it wasn't so much a hero-hero as much as it was perhaps a heroic protagonist--someone who was heroic, even if not being quite the literal idea like a superhero; but it made sense; these were all traits he often saw in Daichi, even perhaps not at core, but in the way that he seemed to aspire toward.

It was obvious, too, even just from the letters that he'd met Daichi through originally, that there had been some change in him over time, and that he was starting to display the traits that embodied Taiki. He'd never really thought about it before, how the people around him were beginning to grow into their Guardian Characters.

Could the same be said for him?

He didn't really like the thought.

"Heeeh? Being a hero, huh... maybe I'll think about it," Clip retorted with a nod and a shrug, before floating over to settle himself upon Juon's head.

It wasn't a bad idea, though, at least in Juon's mind. "Anyone, huh--even with a bad personality, is it still possible?" He tried, though trying to keep his voice from sounding too serious; he tried to frame it more... casually, ironically, maybe like a joke. He wasn't even serious himself, right?

[Daichi]

Taiki smiled and laughed. " Haha!" He seemed grow even more happy at the remark. " Thats a good sign!" Then he followed that up with a exhale of breath, then quietly saying " That means I'm doing a good job. Good, good." Not that he really doubted it but still hearing that was reassuring.

" You can get a lot of gory for being a hero you know." Taiki prompted Clip.

When Juon spoke again Taiki seemed to stop floating softly up and down to listen. You know its rude to not to give all of you're friends attention when speaking. No matter how Juon framed it Taiki wasn't going to make a joke out of it! The fairy wasn't like that, you know? " Well if you are implying yourself, then, one you don't have bad personality, Juon come on, you're a good kid. Think more highly of yourself. Second, of course! I mean you will always be the hero of your own story! So yeah! You bet cha!" There wasn't a doubt in his mind that Juon would be a good hero!

[Juon]

That means I'm doing a good job; Taiki's words resonated with Juon in a way that he didn't expect. "Well, keep at it; it's good for him... I think." Was that really all his Guardian Character's influence? Or was he really just pulling out traits in Daichi that Juon knew already existed? That's more what it seemed like... but in looking back into himself at Clip and trying to apply the same logic, he didn't really want that to work. He didn't like that traits like Clip's already existed in himself.

"I do like glory... I wouldn't mind some fame and riches, heheheh," the Guardian Character hummed, only enforcing Juon's internal point.

But he was cast off the thought when Taiki started to answer his question, to which he immediately was caught off-guard and flustered by; "I--I didn't mean me! But, I mean, thanks, I guess," he stumbled over his words, raising hands to try and wave away what had just happened. If anything, I meant Clip, was what he wanted to say, but he had a feeling he'd get the same answer back that he'd just heard. ... Still, it was encouraging, even if only by a little bit. It was something.

[Daichi]

(its been like 3000 years)

" Yes Boss!" Taiki beamed at the boy. " I don't intend on giving up! Even more so now!" His purple eyes seemed to gleam in determination. Taiki, of course, wanted Daichi to be who he wanted to be! he wouldn't give up on his kid no matter what happened. The fairy himself was a whole jumble of ideas of heroism, but under all that he was just someone who wanted to be happy, genuinely happy and be able to keep up with the world around him. Thats what Daichi wanted to be and they were doing well so far!

" See." Taiki cheered. " Well sometimes being a hero is a 'thank-less job'. But if you do enough good for people they can return the favor on occasions! Though- Thats not always promised but still, its an insensitive if you need one." The hero smiled playfully. " You can't always work for free." He added after the fact. Feeling like that might enforce the idea to Clip.

He titled his head to the side. " Oh you didn't?" Before shaking his head and straining back up. " Well even if you didn't, Daichi and I would support you one hundred percent! Whether you want to be a hero, or not! Thats what friends are for!"
