Corea Juon was awake.
Normally, this wouldn't be too big of a problem; it was the weekend, his homework was done, he'd studied for most of his subjects, and he was seated on the floor of his dorm room with a WiiU gamepad in his hands, playing mindless rounds of Splatoon. Even Clip was quiet, having retreated back into his egg for the night to rest; he hadn't bothered him all evening, much to the safety of Juon's patience.
Hanabusa Nao was asleep.
But that was old news; it was, after all, Nao, who was sleepy or sleeping more often than he was actually awake. He was used to this; it was how it generally went, as he and Nao had been dorming together for quite some time. He's come to know Nao's routines--or rather, lack thereof--but he'd gotten used to it all, and dealing with Nao wasn't a big deal at times like this. But the problem wasn't Nao, but rather...
Mori Keiko was also awake.
And in his dorm room.
And not leaving.
Juon didn't know what to do about this. He figured that she would've left when Nao fell asleep, but she'd continued to hang around. The hours (was it hours? It might not've been hours. But it certainly felt like hours) ticked by, and he continued to wait for her to leave (so that he could sleep), but she seemed to have no intention of going anywhere.
It was driving him up a wall; he felt too uncomfortable with her presence to attempt sleeping, or even to do so much as move from his current position. He'd long tired of Splatoon, but felt too awkward to shut it down and move to something else--but even then, he didn't even know what that would be. Sleep dragged at his eyes, but the feeling in the pit of his stomach was keeping him awake.
The feeling that Mori Keiko was still in his room.
