"Hey, can you help me by going and reorganizing the shelves in the storage room? I'll buy you lunch after, and put in a good word with your teachers; I'll get someone to help you, too. It's been too busy in here lately, I don't have time."
The Librarian had approached him earlier, very effectively bribing him into aiding him with some menial laborious task or another; the man had been too preoccupied with helping students find study and research materials, what with finals coming up, and Juon of course, though as well being there to try and get some study or quiet time, was able to do neither--nor did he also look the type to do so at all whatsoever, anyway, making him a great candidate. The second that was to be sent, though, Juon imagined, would be the first person the guy saw; probably someone also gullible enough to fall for something like, "Oh, yeah! There's all kinds of neat things back there to discover." or maybe, "There's all kinds of weird history in there." or even, "Yeah! You can keep anything interesting you find, I don't need it."
A sigh.
It was so easy to bribe him with free food alone, but a good word with teachers was icing on the cake. As unwilling as he was to actually execute the idea, the rewards that'd be in it for him by the end were justifying it, or so he told himself. Even Clip was in on the idea. "Do it for the end goal!" he'd chirped in his ear. "It's great for you! Focus on the you, not the him you're helping!"
Standing in the storage room--which was, frankly, a lot more like a closet, he crossed his arms, looking for anywhere that might be good to start. Though, he figured he might as well wait for this 'help' that was going to get dragged in to aid him, too; hopefully they wouldn't be dead weight.
