Seeing Is Believing

Downtown really had everything. Anything you ever needed, or that least if you were Daichi it really had everything. Having just spent most the afternoon in a bookstore, browse every shelf, looking at every book that caught his eye. If you counted every time he pulled a book from in between the others and read the first few pages, it would be numbers higher then most paychecks in all honesty. Taiki meanwhile contently people watched by the window while Daichi moseyed around the store- One last time just to make sure he didn't miss anything. The little hero hummed to himself knowing full well their time in the store was coming to and end. However among the crowds of people, one little thing caught his eye- One little kid who was looking directly at him. " Oh? Hello shorty..." He murmurer to himself, he hovered to the side.  The kid followed him with his eyes. " Hmm... So you can see me..." Taiki didn't think much of it really, it was normal for kids to see guardians.

Behind him he heard Daichi speak to the cashier, " Thanks." As well as the door to the shop open and the bell above it rung. Flying over to his hero, he seemed to have not mentioned the kid. " Dee-Dee what did you get? " He asked with a grin looking into the bag. " Oh! These are some good choices- But thats the normal for you an books." He flew out from the bag and onto Daichis head sitting down." Say we should go to the-" The kid in question the one who was quietly watching seemed to suddenly tug on a women who stood next to him. " Hey, excuse me." The women looked down at him and he continued. " Do you see that tiny guy over there?" He said pointing to Taiki. " The little guy on his head?"  Then as she shook her head and told him no after she looked Daichis way did the boy try again on a man. Same result. The kid seemed to make a growing fuss about it. Drawing attention of a lot of people.

"Mmm, okay, but did you see the girl coming out of the back? With that coordination, I really doubt she actually worked there. You know?"

"People like that deserve to be shot."

"Hee-hee, I wouldn't go that far."

One Notsuki Scout was strolling her way down an Otonoki street, bags clutched in hands as she found herself ticked pink by her own shopping outing. Otonoki was no Kyoto, but it still had plenty a variety of stores--cute, quaint, and upscale alike--which were very much to her liking. It was fun, exploring a new place; every time she went on an outing, she found somewhere new... which just inspired her to keep taking outings whenever she could.

And it was especially fun now that she had her little... eh, what was it called again? Her little fairy thing. Nevertheless, it was called Meryl, and she had quite an attitude that Scout appreciated. Bold, straightforward, and dodged no bullets: she took and said everything just as it was.

"Is that another over there?"

She brought up, only for Scout to have her attention diverted to the window of a bookstore. Peeking around, the spotted a kid that had pointed out another small fairy, which it seemed that the adult with him didn't. A scene was coming together, it looked like, with the owner of the little sprite in the middle of it--it looked like he could use some help.

Approaching the scene, she decided to bail the guy out--they had something in common, after all!--and ran up to him, taking him by the arm. "There you are!" She chirped. "I've been looking all over for you, I've just got to show you this cute dress I got; come on!" She then aimed to take him and drag him off, away from the crowd, hoping that the kid wouldn't continue to follow them--he seemed awfully fixated.

Hes not a hundred percent sure what happened. One second he was looking at Taiki about to ask him if he should explain to the kid what Taiki was, or if he was just gonna brush it of and move on. Before he could do anything of the sort he was whisked away but a girl- "Uh- Yo what-" He started, but nonetheless let her drag him along with little protesting. Taiki meanwhile looked over to the kid in the distance- who currently seemed to have a dilemma of figuring out if he should follow them or not. The little hero took a guess that he would follow, kids are very persistent after all. " You are quite the actor, ginny. Thanks for the help but i think the kid plans to follow us, anyhow. Still that was clever." Taiki piped up with a grin.

The kid meanwhile seemed to have finally made up his mind and ran after the two as quickly as he could weaving in and out of other people. " Hey! Don't leave, what the heck are those little people! Hey!" He shouted after them in attempt to get them to stop.

" Oh shit- Uh shouldn't we explain it to him? " Daichi asked his new companion, as they walked further from the crowds of people. He didn't make an attempt to stop but he did keep and eye on the kid over his shoulder.

"Eh? Ginny?" Scout echoed, upon being addressed by the guy's own little spritey thing, looking up at it with round eyes. But at the rest of the statement, she'd turned to throw a short glance over her shoulder, only to see the small stature of the kid still coming after them. "Oh, hm, boo," she pouted, shrugging and turning back. She really didn't like kids.

"Hmmm, he must have a pure heart," Meryl hummed, seating herself on Scout's shoulder backwards, watching the kid as he approached. "Oh, he's--"

But he'd already called out to him, and Scout was forced to look toward the other, albeit with a bit of hesitation in her face. "Um, I guess," she muttered. "Will he really, like, get it, though? Is it... even worth it." She had a bit of a pout stretching across her features; she really wasn't one for young kids, and she tended to severely underestimate their capacity for intelligence. "But, if you think it's a good idea..." she sighed, then taking an inhale and turning to the small that had stopped nearby. "Hey, kid! Do you have a dream, huh? Like, some kind of, um, what do they call it, 'person you want to be'?"
