[AQ] Trashed [Minji/Dainan]

+ Description: Someone’s trashed the Arcade while Ohno stepped out--he’s offering an entire afternoon’s worth of free games to anyone who wants to help out and clean it up.  

+ Volunteer your time to help clean: +2 Roost, -1 Faberge 

+ Organize a group of friends to take charge of cleanup: +2 Guardians, -1 Roost 

+ Make signs for get the neighborhood involved with the cleaning: +2 Faberge, -1 Guardians 

+ Thwart efforts by trashing it some more: -3 Roost, +1  

+ Stop by- but just observe: +1 Faberge, -1 Roost 

+ Requirements: Tag an Admin for end post.

Stepping into the arcade almost felt like a kick to the face. Now while Minji wasn't exactly an enthusiastic member of the Roost, she really couldn't leave one of her (now) favorite places in the town in the state it was. She was a little surprised that somebody had even managed to do it, considering there were normally a least a few people hanging in and around the building. Although she supposed that it didn't really matter who had done it in the end - so long as it would be cleared up.

She knew there were trash bags behind the prize counter and the keys for the cleaning closet were there too. She couldn't see any other supplies around, which was weird considering Ohno had basically asked anybody to come down and help out - it was possible that somebody had been there before her and used all up the stuff that was left out.

Shrugging Minji made her way to the counter - moving quickly in hopes that nobody would actually catch her. The girl was more than sure that the owner would not want other people knowing where the keys got hidden when he wasn't around to guard them. She wasn't even sure Roost members should have really known where they were either.

"In and out. Then hide the keys again." She was muttering - still hoping that if anybody did come in they wouldn't see or hear her.  

Dainan

[Dainan]

Dainan hadn’t exactly been around Seiyo for long, but he had taken a liking to the arcade, it was a nice place to hang around. Others also seemed to love hanging out there, so it was a shock to hear that someone had trashed it. He didn’t really plan on staying too long, but when he saw the state that the place was in he couldn’t just walk away. He grabbed a trash bag and began to clean everything near the front.


No more than 5 minutes later had he heard the doors open again, and he looked towards the doors to see who it was. They didn’t seem to notice him at first, which he was just fine with. He didn’t recognize the individual that now joined him in the building, and got suspicious when they went behind the counter.


He wasn’t the quietest person, but he had somehow managed to sneak up on them before speaking, “Excuse me, what are you doing?”

[Minji]

Minji let out a loud peep at his voice - a sound that rarely came from her. She wasn't usually one to be spooked but she'd honestly thought that nobody else was around - he'd obviously been quiet either that or she'd be a little too focused on what she was planning on doing. Her hand curled around the keys and she spun around to face him. She half forced a cough - hoping it would cover a little for her squeaking. 

She probably looked like a delinquent. 

"Keys. For the cleaning closet." She shook said keys - taking a few steps backwards and pointing towards a door. She probably looked like she was trying to run - so attempted to give him a reassuring smile. It probably looked more like a grimace, but if she was going to prove that she wasn't doing anything wrong she'd have to get on with what she actually wanted to do. She took another few steps and spun again, heading to her destination. "This has happened a few times, I'm pretty sure a lot of people have had to do this."

The keys jingled loudly as she unlocked the door. Minji ducked inside the cupboard, looking for a few things in particular. Mostly she wanted a broom, it'd be too time consuming to just pick everything up by hand. She also really didn't want to touch any of it with her bare hands, so she needed gloves as well. "Do you want any rubber gloves?"

[Dainan]

A small jolt shivered through Dainan's shoulders at the loud noise that came from the girl's mouth. He straightened up when she turned to face him, his grip on the garbage bag in his hand tightened just a bit as he looked her up and down for a moment, focusing on the keys for a moment.

Slowly the tension in his shoulders relaxed and he let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding, "Oh, I see. Sorry for startling you," He gave her a small apology as she turned back to grab what she was looking for in the supply closet. He took a small few steps back and was ready to go back to what he was doing when he heard her speak again.

"Oh," Rubber gloves, that was a better idea than what he was doing. Who knew what could've been in the garbage he was picking up? "Yes, please," Dainan set his trash bag to the side and held his hand out for the gloves the teen was searching for.

[Minji]

She made a sound to make it clear she could hear him and pulled on a set of gloves herself before tossing him a set - having rolled them together. She didn't watch to make sure he'd actually caught the projectile - instead busying herself by grabbing a few extra trash bags, the broom and a bucket. She ducked back out of the closet - leaving her supplies by the door as she locked it and quickly whisked the keys away. She didn't want to end up loosing them and it'd be way easier to get them back afterwards. 

"They make it a little easier." She made her way back to her collected the broom - it'd make work a little quicker. She moved towards the front doors - it'd be easier to start from there and bring the trash backwards. They'd at least be able to close the doors then at least. 

She didn't exactly want to leave the conversation there - and she really didn't want to fall into the awkward silence that often happened when she was around. But she didn't want to say something rude by accident either - she couldn't say she'd seen him around often, but she wasn't normally in the front of the arcade either. "- so you come here a lot?" She didn't really think he'd be helping out if he didn't spend at least a little bit of his time there.
