Yet another day yet another meeting.  

Even with everything happening, Junko still made a point of showing up to the Guardian meetings. Nothing had any order anymore, or made any sense anymore. Changing or escalating at a moment's notice. But at the very least, she could count on the meetings to keep their pace, never skipping a beat. They followed the same pattern, ran at the same time, consisted of the same people. They never disappointed, quite like their leader.

She could never explain her sudden admiration for the teacher, often frowning at those who would speak ill of him almost on reflex. He always brought her comfort, making it very easy to be around him. He was quite often a solemn, quiet man but she almost thought it added to his appeal. Kinda like a wise sage, y'know! Like from the Legend of Lonk console games. There was just something about him that she found herself drawn to, it would certainly help that he listened to her without fault. Whatever it was about he would always nod his head, even if he wasn't really listening she appreciated the sentiment. 

Today would be no different than the others.

She tread up the path towards the Planetarium, Tama following not far behind her in silence. She didn't seem to be much for conversations, outside of the dorm at least and as of late she seemed to often be deep in thought. Junko couldn't quite figure out why just yet but, it seemed important. Since Tama spacing out was becoming a regular thing. 

She hurried inside the Planetarium, setting her bag down by a seat before looking for the teacher. She always liked connecting with him a bit before they began a meeting. Get the basics of what would go down so she could nod her head like she understood any of it.

Kirishigi Notsuka had been in his office, as usual; he seemed to be quite preoccupied with work, as his door was closed when she would have entered; it wasn't closed for long, though; perhaps a few minutes, at most, before he eventually emerged from it. Grading papers or tests, most likely; it wasn't something he did terribly often, as the class he as well taught was quite laid-back in nature, overall. He seemed a bit tired--no more or less than usual, though--because of it, yet still mustered up enough energy to greet her with a usual soft, subtle smile.

"Kinjo-san, early as always," he offered in greeting. He as well let eyes fall on Tama, noting her seemingly-absent exterior, before he moved to the front of the Planetarium to lean on the edge of the stage, not ready to ascend to the podium just yet. "You've had a good day, I hope?"

She was often early; he never knew why she made such an effort, but took note of it nonetheless; she was certainly one of the more diligent members of the Guardians, which was at least something he quite appreciated. Indeed, it would still be a bit before anyone else would arrive.

"Of course sure! Better early than late!" She chirped, smiling at him. She wouldn't be late for anything in the world! Not if she could help it at least, suddenly recalling the one time she'd managed to miss a meeting entirely. She was grateful he had yet to bring it up or address it, hoping he'd understood her sudden absence that one day. He was fairly understanding all in all, something she was VERY thankful for.

"It was decent enough! I got really stuck on this one math question but I manage to work it out-- Tama found where I goofed up and turned me 'round before I handed it in. Pretty close call!" She laughed, continuing to ramble on. "And then Dai-chan and I did a bit of planning for the Cooking Club, he wants to do another event, it's such an elaborate idea!"

She'd always ramble on like this for at least a minute or two, he never really seemed to mind. Or at least he never said he did. She'd stop eventually, letting him do his usual response before she'd start up again.

"Oh! Anything exciting on the agenda today?" She asked a bit teasingly, knowing most meetings weren't packed full of action. She enjoyed them none the less, but some could say Junko would enjoy watching a rock in hopes it'd jump out at her.

As he sat at the edge of the stage, listening to each and every detail of Junko's day, he seemed to be paying attention with an acute focus, and yet at the same time, his eyes were distant, as if fixated on something else entirely.

"How observational of Tama; sounds like a good call," he offered gently, seeming unfazed by the idea that her Guardian Character had aided her on a test. It was difficult to tell if he actually didn't mind, or if he simply wasn't paying attention as closely as he looked to be. "What kind of elaborate event? I'd heard the first that your club put on was quite a success."

Pausing as she asked of the goings-on planned for the day, he looked down a bit and shifted his posture, seeming to be taking a moment to bring the subject to mind. "Hmm, the usual," he offered. "I'd received an email from another Guardian this morning, who is planning to bring up those Character Change confession dares, which have apparently been going around again among some first years." He didn't seem to give any kind of opinion regarding the matter. Nor was he overly-expectant when he offered, "But, aside from that. Unless you'd had anything to contribute today?"

She looked at him curiously, this being the first she'd really heard of such a thing. "Character Change confession dares...? What the heck is that, Sir?" What were the other students forcing the poor first years to do? It wasn't bad enough they were probably confused and scared of what was happening? You had to add humiliation on top of fear. That was despicable...Teenagers are stupid. Students are stupid. People are just stupid...

"I don't think I have anything to add really..." She shook her head, pausing for a moment. "Although..." She began hesitantly. She'd only ever brought it up to a few select people, even then still being touchy towards the subject. She looked to him, of all people...she could trust him. Couldn't she?

She shrugged slightly, rubbing the back of her neck as she finally caved. "The X Egg sightings are beginning to increase...not to mention the X Characters. We've been lucky to heal some but..." It wasn't that big a deal. Maybe she was just making a big deal of it. She couldn't ever seem to get her mind off of it. "I just worry...what we're going to do."

"Hm, something about..." he seemed to shrug his shoulders just a touch. "Daring others to Character Change and... confess to someone, or something or other." A soft nod. "It had happened once before; right before you joined us, I believe." Still, it was an issue for students to work out amongst themselves--so he didn't seem to have all that much to say about it, in the end.

Kirishigi blinked as Junko had started into an 'although'--his posture seemed to shift a bit, becoming more attentive as he waited for her to continue. Once she did, he leaned back again, taking a moment to consider her words.

"It is true that X-activity has increased," he began. "Though, our members are growing more and more capable, and they carry themselves with the interests of each other in mind." A pause as he folded his hands, his thin fingers weaving gently together. "So long as the Guardians stay united to this purpose, X-activity is a manageable issue." His expression seemed to lighten. "Have confidence; in yourself, and in your allies."

He opened his mouth again as if to continue, but appeared to decide against it before going on to speak. Hopefully the answer he had given would suffice.

So it was pretty much exactly what it was named after. Character Change Confessions....who thought of such an elaborate task like that? And they were using it against others too. That's not what the Character Changes were for. Or at least that was how she felt...Character Changes were always meant to give someone a boost when they needed help. Not hurt them like this. She most definitely wanted to end that as well.

She looked to Kirishigi, leaning against one of the seats as she listened to his response. It hadn't been exactly what she had been expecting, hoping he'd have some sort of course of action or maybe an idea of what to do but what he had given her instead was fairly vague. She let out a breath she'd been holding before nodding her head. "Right....you're right." She nodded her head again, attempting to reassure herself with his words.

He was right. He was right. As long as everyone who was able to fight worked together, they could tame the X Egg situation. She hoped... She swallowed the lump in her throat, glancing to the side. "I just..." She paused.

"Miuna is always talking about how she's training to handle this stuff and she's wearing herself out doing so but...all we do is talk. We have these meetings but..." She hesitated. "Should we try to have a plan of action? Or at least...get everyone steady on their feet as their abilities grow?"

Miuna... Miuna. It took him a moment to latch onto the name, only because he'd attempted to put it out of his memory completely--Akiyama Miuna, the Faberge girl that liked to come and vandalize his projectors. Yes, that Miuna... his subtle expression seemed to fill with as much disgust as his slight face could handle at the thought of her.

"She works beyond her limits," he offered, attempting to word things as gently as possible. She was Junko's friend, after all... "It is... a damaging mentality that will catch up with her, in time. Such is why being able to rely on each other is important, to help shoulder the weight."

Though he offered a nod, slow and bobbing, to her following remark. Leaning back a bit, he seemed to settle more into his posture, before looking to her with curiosity. "If you feel it necessary, than we certainly could. What would you suggest for such kind a plan of action? I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts." Though his words in any other context could easily be interpreted more sarcastically, his gentle tone was highly genuine, and his body language gave off feelings of authenticity as he seemed to be opening himself to listen more receptively.

"Mm..."

He had said exactly what she always thought. Exactly what she always attempted to convey to Miuna but never truly got through to her. The other girl never seemed to grasp what she was saying. It wasn't a matter of trying to 'convert' her or make her bend to the Guardians way of thinking. She was just genuinely concerned for...for her 'friend'.

She paused, looking at him with big doe eyes. She hadn't honestly thought he'd listen to her. Miuna was always going on about how useless or lame the Guardians were, suggesting it was much better to be in Faberge because they were prepared and the what not gibber gabber she went on about and Kirishigi certainly never seemed like the type to consider such actions. So to hear him say he would like to hear her thoughts struck her dumbfounded. After a few moments of standing there with her mouth gaping like a fish she would finally regain herself.

"I-I...." She paused. "I mean...at the very least I guess it'd be wise to make sure members are familiar with what they're up against. What they're dealing with. How to deal with it a-and safely. I don't..." She looked down to her hands, letting out a bit of a sigh. "I don't want to see another egg disappear in front of me because we didn't know what we were doing."

Regardless of whether it was a pure egg or a corrupted egg...she never wanted to see another egg's shell crack and shatter in front of her. She in all seriousness could probably never eat another sunny side up egg again. The sight of it breaking in front of her...she had never crossed her mind that something like that would bring her to the verge of tears so easily.

"Yes, that's..." he started in agreement. "That is something that should be avoided at all costs."

But he then nodded, moving to comment on the rest of her statement. "But that would be a good idea. I'd been considering calling a large meeting for for something similar to this for some time now; perhaps now rather than never would be the best time to do so."

Shifting a bit, he let his hand clasp in front of him, his gaze turning upward toward the dome overhead, twinkling with a part of the sky only likely he knew which. "Well, perhaps not now, but I will work on preparing something for all of our members. I will try to be as comprehensive as I can, so that everyone is fully prepared, hm?"

She let out a deep breath she didn't know she'd been holding before nodding her head. "Thank you sir...I really appreciate you at least considering it." She laughed sheepishly. She had admittedly been a bit nervous to bring it up to him, even with how reasonable he was when it came to listening to her in the first place. She couldn't help but feel anxious when it came to addressing such heavy topics...

"I-If you need help with anything don't hesitate to ask!!" She chirped, perking up slightly as she looked to him. "I'll help with anything!" And quite possibly anything, Junko was always more than ready to assist Kirishigi. If she could help him with something other than brewing a bitter cup of tea she was on the case!

Bowing a head in appreciation at her offer, he sat back up straight, keeping head low and eyes closed as he seemed to be thinking on both some kind of planning, as well as considering her offer. He was silent for a few moments, seeming to be falling to distance rather rapidly, before he eventually came back, looking back toward her thoughtfully.

He then raised a finger. "You know..." he began, seeming to have some kind of idea. "Perhaps this is a bit simple--or rather too much a burden--but I always try to offer snacks at things like that. It's often... incentive to attend, and it's important for these things to be..." He waved a hand, seeming to lose track of what he was saying, or as if he had already said it, or as if the subject had just dropped from importance. Maybe he just assumed Junko would know what he was talking about. His eyes had trailed off, too, before he fixated back to her.. "It would be nice if I could commission your cooking club for something like that. Would they be up for it?" A slow nod came over him as he thought a bit more on it. "Anything would be fine." He certainly didn't have any preferences.
