Stories about the 'egg business' had reached Soichiro's ears for the umpteenth time. The way this painted, he would have no other choice but to succumb into the magical tales about fairy guardians who grant superpowers. No... He wasn't buying any of that. Regardless of what he was told, witnessed, and heard from 'reliable' sources, Soichiro was still incapable of putting the finger on the open wound, and trusting his gut: That this was legitimate, and that he had to open his heart to believe in his dreams.

Rumors were spreading on his homeroom about UFOs flying at the town's park late into the night, second sources affirmed that they looked like shinning eggs, of some sort, and that 'everyone and their mother' is going to see them tonight. With the prospect of not looking like the only one loser present at the park, stargazing for what could be a prank; he resolved that there would not be any social inconvenience by joining some people from his class to visit the park on that evening. It was just a friend's hangout, albeit at peculiar hours, but there was nothing off, or socially reproachable about it. 

Therefore, when the sun came down, Soichiro left the school dorms with a large group of third year students towards the park. Unfortunately, upon arriving to the place, most of them scattered around. He was alone.

It had already gotten late when she'd finally finished up her visit with her father. The retired police officer thankfully lived just one walk through the park, quite literally. So it wasn't too far from the dorks or the school, leaving her no room to worry about getting in too much trouble. Although this time she'd managed to let time get the best of her. After rambling on to her father for a couple hours it was already starting to get dark as she started to head back through the park. He hadn't really been keen on the idea of his daughter waltzing around the park at night but there wasn't much he could really do. Her mind was pretty made up.

As such Junko made her way through the park, hands behind her back, Tama trailing right behind her. "This park is becoming really popular..." She mumbled, thinking back to all the stuff she'd done with Takeo in the park. The talent show, the heart's egg, oh and then there was sports day with Juon!! Poor Juon....

She continued to think to herself absent mindedly, not watching where she was really going but that was never something new. It wasn't until Tama started trying to get her attention that she understood she was reading straight for a park bench. She ran right into it, toppling over the bench and onto the ground with a nice loud "OOF"

Finally, he spotted them.
Bright, white, and shaped like eggs: they were eggs, actually! Just like everyone told him. A few shinning flying objects that floated with no direction, giving the park's evening a darling, charming look. "So, it was true..." His thoughts escaped his mouth, speaking to himself in pure awe. But, not only did he fail to understand why the magical eggs would be floating in a place like this, but also the reason why any of this paranormal activity occurred in front of his eyes. "So kind of magic... Maybe yokais are real? No, no... Most likely they are drones." Raising his eyebrows, and with his arms crossed at chest level, Soichiro analyzed the situation unfolding at Otonoki's park. "Off course, that is the most logical approach, what was I thinking? Hah, silly me." One of his legs crossed over the other, in a masculine manner. He was getting comfortable on his bench seat, watching the flying shinning things make his evening so much better, until a loud noise and sudden movement made him snap out of his thoughts.

"Careful!" He exclaimed out of the sudden. The figure of a tall girl had toppled over his bench, and then fallen into the park's soil. As expected of any decent person, he bent over to help her get on her feet. "Are you alright?" The taller one asked, visibly concerned. The first thing Soichiro noticed on the girl, was a beauty mark next to her left eye. What a peculiar girl.

Telling her to be more careful next time, or asking her if she was distracted, would be redundant and unnecessary. Instead, he approached the concern from a different, more playful point of view:

"Whatever it was that distracted you, must have been very interesting! Did you get scratched, though?"

Eurgh.

Dirt tasted exactly like how you might think. Like dirt. It wasn't very appealing.
Junko groaned, tumbling over as she sat up on the ground, rubbing her head. Thank god she wasn't picky about getting dirty. She dust herself off a bit before noticing the other person suddenly near her. She looked up at him, batting her big eyes for a moment before smiling at him. "Yeah I'm okay!! I'm a tough girl! I can handle a tumble over a bench or two!!" She laughed sheepishly. "Or at least maybe just one." She'd prefer to avoid another tumble over a park bench. The dirt? Not so bad. Bench? Pretty sturdy and hard.

"Sorry about that!" After a minute or two she was back on her feet, dusting off pants before looking back at the young man with her usual big smile. "Oh haha, it wasn't that interesting. Just rambling to myself about stuff." She shrugged a bit, pausing for a moment as she looked herself over before looking back to him. "I think I made it off with a sore warning." And that she was thankful for.

"Ah geeze," She glanced around wincing a bit. "It got even darker after that tumble...Oh! Sorry! That was rude of me. Thanks for your concern!! I'm Kinjo, Junko! But you can call me Jojo if that's easier for you!" She quickly bowed her head, thanking him for his concern over her tumble before extending her hand to him. "Nice to meet you !!"

He let the other get on her feet and fix herself, observing her peppy mannerisms with a confiding smile. The first thing he noticed about the girl, besides her height, was a peculiar beauty mark under her left eye. Soichiro had an eye for small details, which helped him remember people's identity; not that he would see this girl again, what were the chances that she was a Seiyo student too? "You're in one piece, and that's all that matters. I'm Iwasaki, Soichiro. Nice to meet you, too." Although confused by her handshake, which he politely accepted --was she a nikkei? or a foreigner?-- he responded to her introduction with a nod, as well. Soichiro was sure to be the older one of the two.

"Did you come to watch the UFOs? Students from Seiyo are going crazy about them, but I'm sure they're just drones." He made the question casually, should they have some small talk to share for the time being. He sat on the bench again, inviting her with a nod to sit, too, if she wanted to. "I lost my group, though... They must be somewhere... Anyway! Have you seen them before? the lights, I mean."

"Aaahh nice to meet you So-chan!!" She smiled at him, wiping her forehead a bit as she looked to him. He looked very smart...!! Perhaps it was just the glasses....but he seemed friendly enough. He had been kind enough to express concern over her own fumble, though that was pretty common. Most people often looked at her with concern after her mishaps, though she managed to shake it off fairly easily. They usually seemed to cover her concern for her so perhaps that was why she didn't bother getting worried about herself.

"UFOs....?" She looked at him with big eyes. Oh..! Those UFOs! Before she could respond right away he'd invited to sit on the very bench that had so horribly attacked her. She didn't mind getting some revenge so she sat next to him, hands in her lap as she looked back to him with big curious eyes. "I have seen them!! They're not UFOs though!! Not all of them I don't think..." She paused, looking down for a moment as she brought a hand to her chin.

"They're just lost!! At least some of them. I think. I-it sounds weird but I swear it makes sense. Somehow...." She smiled sheepishly at him as she seemed to make no sense, at least she thought she didn't...Tama shook her head, taking her place atop Junko's shoulder as she made herself comfortable. It'd be a long night....
