Waving a hand, Yasuko bid thanks to the cashier, before walking out of the store with her purchase. She had ran out - again - of her favourite pens once more, prompting her to rush to the store downtown after school to buy some. As she started to walk back up to the school campus, she began to pack what she had bought into her school bag. There wasn't a need to hold it when she had a bag was there?

Calli flew next to her, rather excited to be out downtown. "I've never been out here before!" she exclaimed, looking at all of the shops around. There were snack shops, restaurants, ramen shops, those food carts, flower shops, even a quint little cafe! It was all wonderful! "I didn't know the convenience store carries so much stuff! It has, like, almost everything you need!" The little sprite flew up in the air as if to show how exhilarated she was.

"Well, I suppose that's why it's called a convenience store," Yasuko quipped, not at all caring as she swung her bag back onto her shoulder. Calli turned back to give her human a little pout, making her float back downwards so that they were level with each other. The first-year was always like this!

But she supposed it could have been worse. The whole X-egg fiasco had shaken the girl up so much that all she wanted to do was just run away from them. At least she seemed back to normal...mostly.

What was today's day going to be filled with. Excitement? Loneliness? Bullshit? A weird combination of the three? It didn't matter for Masahiko. He just wanted to go get some food and return to his one man dorm. He was at the local convenience store with his Guardian Chara, Lilith, buying bread with jam, red bean fish crackers and a case of juice. It was about to be a snacking kind of day. Lilith swooned around all the snacks, scolding his host about how unhealthy he was, Masahiko complained to him by eating one of the crackers in his face. He had purchase all the food he needed and grabbed his earbuds from his pocket.

Headed down the street, on facing, he had seen Yasuko. He had remembered the dumb, naive child from both nights of the X-Eggs coming out to play and big of a failure she was. He lunged the bags over his shoulders, "HEY! YASUKO!" He shouted, walking confidently to the girl. Lilith grunted, "OI, BE GOOD!" The chara had yanked on the boy's ear and caused Masahiko to smack his ear slightly in pain. He wanted to talk to the girl anyway about the other night. There were some things left unsaid.

"Yasuko," the third year hollered, running up to her. "Are you holding up well? You've been going MIA. Are you still shaken up and scared?"

Cause if you are, maybe you can be my next victim...

Yasuko walked down the street, letting her Guardian Character excitedly point out the various things around them. All the stores and the goods and food and stuff - it was all new to Calli and no matter how many times she had seen the exact similar store, she was still piping up every now then about them. The brown-haired fairy wasn't going to let Yasuko's sarcastic quip ruin her day! "Look Yasuko, look!" she pointed - again - excitedly, at the pet store. "Aww those puppies are so cute!"

"Mmhmm," was the first-year's only reply. Really, she just wanted to get back to the dorms already and get some work done.

But the sound of her name halted her in her tracks. And the voice was really loud. Turning around, her eyes widened as they fell onto someone rather familiar...

That blonde bastard from that night. In the library. The one that insulted her and kept telling her about how weak and how much of a failure she was. And goddammit why was this jerk so tall? And how the hell did he know her name?! Immediately, she turned around and tried to walk faster, prompting Calli to quickly fly next to her so as not to be left behind. She wasn't in the mood for him and neither did she want to answer his questions. Obviously though, due to her short stature, she wasn't really walking all that much faster from him. In the midst of it all, she hadn't noticed that he was being followed by a Guardian Character.
