{The Beach Episode}

+ Description: School work can be so stressful, its time to let loose and relax a bit ! The teachers have organized a trip to a local beach near by to allow the students to let off some steam after tests but they need a certain amount of students to sign up or the trip will be a bust. You signed up, needing a bit of a break yourself and are ready to hit the waves. You've even convinced a few friends to tag along with you! It's guaranteed to be a blast! But just as you're about to hit the water, you notice something thrashing in the water....is it just your imagination or is something wrong?

After coming back from his rather forced disappearance, from wherever he was hiding at, with whoever he ran away with; Takeo was more than convinced that what he needed the most was to take a break. A real one, to clear his mind off of complicated sentimentalism, kendo club's issues, and his part timer with his father. There was so much to worry about, yet he selfishly signed up for some beach trip organized by the school. He took the liberty to invite a couple of people he knew, and that was too much of a risk already, what I'd he for his invitation ignored, or mocked at? But, really, anyone could tag along. This was a teacher's plan, and he just wanted to be around people he knew, instead of a bunch of strangers. Weird, given how he would usually prefer to be by himself...



So, he is sitting on the back side of the bus, right besides the left window. Takeo browsed through his timeline, only to find out that some people had been worried about his and Keiko's whereabouts. A rush of guilt gave him shivers on the arms, feeling like a jerk for making other people concerned for his well being. "It's whatever..." He mumbled under his breath, choosing to watch the road that would take them to the shore, instead. He wore a black tee shirt, and long black shorts, along his ever trustworthy cheap sneakers. What kind of person wore all black to the god damned beach? Takeo Matsuo, off course.

His only wish is that this trip is free of x eggs, free of character changes, curing, you know? Bullshit.

☆ SCOUT Miuna junko ୧( ॑ധ ॑)୨

When they'd first announced the trip to the school Junko could not have signed up any faster. She was so on board for a trip to the freaking beach !! The young girl was treating herself, any opportunity to kick and back and relax after everything she took it. With the sun beaming down and the cool water to level it out, it was a perfect equation for a good time. The only problem was she wasn't terribly keen on going to such a fun thing by herself. That only make it slightly less fun for her...but she'd make do!!

She sat near the front of the bus, having picked the closest spot to the doors she could find in hopes it would make it easier to bolt out the bus once they'd arrived. She sat in her seat, practically bobbing up and down in it as she looked to the side in excitement. She been clever enough, or at least in her mind, to prepare herself a head of time. Already wearing her swimsuit with a large loose white t-shirt over top, easy to whip off at any moment's notice. The t-shirt had the biggest red cat face on it, making it really easy to spot...

It wouldn't be long until they reached the beach and she was ecstatic !

[Miuna]

Despite her name, Miuna had few memories of ever going to the beach. With her parents' busy schedules and poor behavior in public she never really looked forward to family trips. They just gave her mother and father more reasons to argue over the smallest of things. Now she was fifteen years old stuffed on a bus with a handful of other students all looking to make the most of the warm weather. She had a bathing suit from back home but other than that her bags were empty.

By the time she'd arrived at the bus stop most of the seats were already taken. She'd given a short wave to Junko before sitting three rows behind the girl, head pressed against the window. She wasn't great when it came to vehicles, preferring to sit closer to the front or just walk. As the bus shook back and forth she closed her eyes and prayed for a relatively safe trip.

God help whoever tried to talk to her as she felt her stomach lurch from another hidden pothole.

A beach trip? Certainly something that sounded perfectly up her alley. While Scout imagined it mightn't be as glamorous as something she was used to--or, at least, as glamorous as she might've preferred--it was impossible to resist the opportunity, especially considering she'd met so few people around Seiyo yet. This sounded like a great opportunity to relax, and scope people out--both in interaction, as well as in appearances.

It was a beach trip--there had to be attractive people, right? Especially cute girls in swim suits--certainly she wouldn't be the only one.

She'd picked an especially cute one to bring, too, though as she boarded the bus equipped with a large (but fashionable) bag of beach items she'd been careful to wear a still-cute (and complimentary) beach dress over the top--not to mention an enormous wide-brimmed had and oversized sunglasses. Needless to say, the bus was rather... snug-fitting when it came to everything.

Truthfully, she wasn't much a fan of buses in general--but she would suck it up at the prospects of what was to come at the very end. Having arrived last, just as the bus was preparing to depart, she'd snagged one of the last available seats, much to her chagrin; but, if nothing else, she's certainly made an entrance.

Through the whole ride to the beach, he hadn't looked at the other bus riders, not for a minute, not even to check around if any friends had joined the trip. Friends.
Takeo realized again that he had, indeed, people he got along with, whom he could regard as such.
Keiko would have enjoyed this trip too, right? Maybe next time.

The time would fly by before they arrived to the shore. The bus stopped so everyone could get on their feet and walk outside, and Takeo, being the last on the line, stood up when everyone else had gathered their belongings.

Or not? Oh, surprise. There's two people he knows In the bus. How should he... Face this situation?

Takeo stampeded off the bus, crossing his fingers so nothing bad would come out of this. He was also resenting to have worn black... It's not summer yet, but he's not very bright either, right?

"Akiyama, Junko," shit, fuck, why did he have to greet them? Oh well, here we go.

For a second, he swears he recognized a girl wearing a really big hat. Where had he seen her before?

The young girl had zipped out of the bus as fast as she could, hopping up and down excitedly before finally looking behind her at the others who had gotten off the bus. She could feel her heart instantly leap in her chest seeing those familiar faces greet her. She instantly scrambled over to Takeo, pulling him into the best bear hug she could manage.

She then looked over to Miuna gleefully grinning ear to ear. "Na-chan too! Holy smokes this trip gets better and better!!" She chirped, hopping up and down slightly. She then looked to Takeo for a moment before finally releasing him from her death grasp, putting her hands behind her back as she looked to them both excitedly.

"You both look awesome. Are you ready to get wet and wild??" She asked, posing at them both. There was no cap on Junko's hype, it was running wild and over flowing by the minute. They were most definitely screwed.

[Miuna]

Miuna had barely managed to stumble off the bus when she was greeted by two overly excited people. As happy as she was to see them she really wasn't in the mood for small talk. Her hands felt clammy and her face had developed a thin layer of sweat from all the movement on the way here. The sun was doing little to cool her off and she pressed her face against the side of the bus to try and cool down.

"Senpai, please don't look," she said miserably, holding out a hand weakly to greet Junko. Her state of being was embarrassing enough as it was, she didn't need the kendo captain to acknowledge it at all, "This is not the face of a fighter, it's the epitome of a lost battle."

Sighing against the cold metal, she looked at all the people getting off. One in particular caught her eye, and she wished for a brief moment she could look as fabulous and put together as the girl with the hat. Instead she slid down the side of the bus, crouching in a fetal position as she willed her motion sickness to go away.

The bus had been quiet, unexciting; but that was fine--she'd passed the time by tweeting useless facts about birds at some second and third years she didn't know or think were all that cute, which had satisfied her just fine. Or, well, maybe they weren't useless facts--they weren't to her; but it was probably true that they'd go in one ear and out the other. That's how most trivia went anyway, right? Most knowledge that wasn't about birds tended to be that way for her, after all...

Either way, they'd finally drawn to a halt, and some second years seemed especially eager to charge right off. Scout hadn't been done with her mobile activities yet, leaving her to wait (feigning politeness, but in reality she simply didn't want to be bothered to be interrupted) until most of the others had gotten of before following along.

When she finally did, as one of the last ones, her enormous beach bag fumbling about her, she'd looked around instantly for anything--or anyone--of interest. There were groups forming already, cliques of friends going off in their own directions as they'd start heading over to the sand or more toward the boardwalk or to go and change, if they hadn't come dressed already.

But she did spot a cute first year who seemed to be suffering--while normally she wouldn't, but she was quite cute, and it looked like she was ill: both good motivators--especially as she'd brought something for that, right? Why wouldn't there be some kind of something in this enormous bag? Had she even been the one who'd packed it in the first place?

"Heyyyy," she greeted, coming over and crouching nearby. "You feel okay, cutie? I think I've got something to help," she prompted, before then immediately beginning to dig through the oversized bag--it was so big, she could've practically fallen inside and been sucked into some other dimension, especially as she started pulling things out; beach toy after beach toy after towel after beach toy, a chair was in there, even, and a small umbrella; it seemed as if it were bottomless.

"I'm... Glad to see you, too..." He mustered to say, losing his breath in one of the hardest bear hugs he had gotten. "I'm... Not sure I want to get too wild" Junko's choice of words was not the best for Takeo. Oh no, he will not 'get wild', not with them, he won't corrupt their souls. "We'll see what can we do" Regardless, Takeo appreciated the physical affection by tons; not that he would show it, or anything.

Miuna, through... Miuna looked terrible. Takeo opened his backpack to pull out a towel to dry her cold sweat with. "You're so pale... Do you need to throw up...?" He's not exactly used to deal with these situations, but he can't let the girl in motion sickness agony.
Or maybe he can, since someone just offered her help. But God in heaven, look who it is! Now he remembered her. And he begged god that she had forgotten about that incident. Takeo was eight about to get a real panic attack... Ousuke had to act and give him a character change to boost up his confidence.

He is nonetheless, amazed at the amount of things on that bag... And her strength, to carry so much shit.

"Well I mean, we don't have to get wild Banchou but we're still gonna have fun! You can't avoid that, not with me around to make sure of it." She winked, turning to look at the attention Miuna had managed to accumulate. She wondered if she was even really up to being out like this.

"Na-chan they've got a point...are you okay?" She then looked to the extremely pretty girl, eyeing her almost enviously before smiling at her. "That's awfully nice of you to help us out!!"

It was also kind of impressive how much she was able to pull out of the bag, she needed to get organization skills like that.

[Miuna]

Miuna nearly slammed her head in the ground at the captain's concern, and definitely did when the other beautiful girl came rushing over. She wanted to vomit but she couldn't do it in front of any of them. Who was this strange girl anyway who had come to them? She didn't recognize her from campus though from the looks of it she couldn't be any younger than a second year. An upperclassman then? That would explain why she hadn't seen her before.

"I'm.... okay...." she managed to say as she pulled herself up to the side of the bus. Laying down in the sand would definitely help, especially with how nice that cool ocean breeze felt. Hiking her bag strap higher onto her shoulder she pushed everyone away, stumbling over to the railing connecting the sidewalk to the beachfront.

The ocean looked absolutely pristine from where the four of them stood, the waves crashing gently to the shore. Some of their other classmates had already begun setting up their own umbrellas and towels while stripping down to their bathing suits. Miuna's parents had sent her several suits to bring along with a few cute coverups.

"Let's just.... go or something...." she said, tipping over the railing and falling face first into the sand. Since when was sand this gritty? Or hot?!?!

"Hmm, hmm, there's something in here, somewhere..." she mused, continuing to dig through the amassment of things, only for there to eventually be a rather sizeable pile of junk out on the pavement next to the bus.

Just as she'd found what she was looking for, though, Scout looked up again to discover that the girl was gone, having stumbled away, and now appeared to be face-first in the sand. Pouting, she uttered, "Oh, that's cute," before sighing and placing the medicine down beside her, beginning to shove everything she'd just removed back into the bag, even though the inevitable fact was that it was all going to come out again when she got onto the sand.

Looking to one of the others--there was another cute girl, taller, and then a dude (was that the dude from the library the other week? She giggled at the thought, but decided to say nothing)--she puffed up her cheeks and offered a friendly question of, "Is that one always like this?" Before getting back fully to her feet, grabbing the handles of her bag again with both hands. Despite everything that was piled inside, she didn't seem to be having too much trouble with it.

And then, Junko winked at him, she dared to wink at a time like this, in such conditions. None of them were aware of his love situation at that point; but he wouldn't speak about it, for his sanity's sake. "I never have fun, so you got a problem from the start." The Takeo from these times was still reluctant of his wish, wasn't he? There was no character change at sight.

Watching Miuna fall face front on the scalding sand, Takeo felt ought and compelled to do the only sane thing that the only man around would be morally demanded to do: Pick the girl up and be a gentleman. Dust the sand off of her, and offer the towel from earlier. But then, something worse happened.'Oh my God, Jesus Christ...' he thought, noticing how he had become the focus of the pretty lady's eyes, behind her shades. She was giggling for a few seconds, and nobody need to put one and one to figure it was about him. He would not mention anything about it, let it be their constant reason of giggles and demise.

Getting distracted from the awkward situation, Takeo glanced tiredly at the sea, wide and blue in front of the group, only to find... strange activity. Takeo left his backpack next to the girls he was most acquainted with. "Kinjo, Akiyama, can I leave my bag with yours? I'll get in the water for a moment."

He asked, rhetorically, since he would leave it with them regardless of their response. Following up, he... HAD to walk away to take his shirt off. Often he forgot that it was uncomfortable to be fully dressed in the sea. He folded his shirt over his sneakers; stretched his arms, and walked into the water. Was someone in trouble?
