Turning the camcorder on, Yasuko flipped open the LCD monitor, filming the numerous booths that peppered all over the park. She had obtained the video recording equipment from the Faberge booth earlier on, having heard that they were looking for volunteers to get some footage for News 663. Hoping it would allow her to, well, score some points with the talent agency, she had immediately made her way to the festival, gotten herself a camcorder and proceeded to get some videos for the news station to use. That is, if she had gotten it to work first. With a substantial amount of difficulty and a fair bit of cursing - plus an (un)lucky encounter with a third-year she'll rather not see again - she had somehow managed to work the camcorder, breathing a sigh of relief when the recording sign flickered in the corner of the LCD monitor.
Though sadly, she hadn't found anything truly interesting or spectacular to present to the news station at all.
Yasuko sighed, feeling a bit defeated. So far all she had gotten were pretty normal; families with screaming children, friends picnicking together on the grass, booths manned by both Seiyo students and third-party volunteers and a couple of people doing silly things and pranks here and there. Staring at the LCD monitor, she let it continue to record the going-ons of the people around her. Normal as it was, it reminded her of the old times when she was far younger, coming to the Flower Viewing Festival every year with her family. They were all exactly like today - though with far less of a crowd back then - full of chatter, games, screaming children and definitely flowers. She sighed, snapping the monitor close. Nostalgic as it was, she wasn't here for that today. Besides, she hadn't been to one since four years ago.
Maybe she should go somewhere else...
