Yasuko could honestly care less about the snack bar.
The moment she heard that Faberge was looking for helpers, she immediately put her name down on the list. It was her chance to get some information on the agency, and she was determined to make full use of her time there. The past few days, she had tried to ask the teachers about the programme Seiyo was doing with Faberge, but all she got were a few laughs and a "Don't worry, we'll tell you about it later" - which they obviously hadn't. She even ran into some third-year who kept insisting she was lost when she wasn't! And sadly, she was no closer to getting into the agency.
Which was why, she thought as she arrived at the location of the charity concert, she was going to make sure she definitely get something out of this. She hadn't helped at a concert before, but eh, she didn't think it was going to be that hard. In her mind, she ran through the scenario several times; she was going to do all of the jobs and tasks properly, make sure that they were done in great order and tidiness, and she was going to get praise for being their most hardworking volunteer! And maybe, maybe, someone could tell her how to help her chances into getting into Faberge!
What she didn't count on though, was how there was so much to do.
"Ah you there! Could you drop these lights at the van backstage?" a man called out, holding a box full of lights. It seemed that they had broken a fuse, causing the staff to scramble getting new lights for the stage. Thankfully, it was still early enough to get a change of equipment. "And while you're at it, could you get the new lights from there too?"
"H-huh? Oh!" Shooting up quickly from the flimsy plastic chair (that she sadly only just sat down), the first-year went up to him to receive the box - and nearly buckled from its weight. Was she just really weak, or were the lights really heavy?! "W-Whoa!" Shifting quickly, she found her balance again, before giving a sigh of relief. At least she wasn't going to break these things any further.
"Oh hey, you okay?" The man laughed a little. "Maybe these things are too heavy for you; you being small and all. Perhaps we should ask a-"
Yasuko shot him a glare. "I'm fine," she snapped. No one bloody calls her small. "I can handle this." She hmmphed, before she walked off. Well actually she wasn't sure if she could handle it - she was not the best person when it came to physical work. But she really didn't want to be called small. Or petite. Just because she was, didn't mean that she wasn't capable of doing anything.
I'll show you! She fumed internally. Unfortunately, she wasn't really looking where she was going, and caught her feet in a coil of wire on the floor. She was going to trip...!
