Description: A child sees your (and maybe your friend’s, too) Guardian Character and won’t stop trying to get other’s attention to ask about it.

+ Attempt to shoo them away: +2 Roost, +1 Guardians, -1 Faberge

+ Try to talk them out of asking around, or try to explain to others that they’re crazy: +2 Faberge, +1 Roost, -1 Guardians

+ Engage them instead, try to teach them about Guardian Characters: +3 Guardians, +1 Faberge, -2 Roost

+ Requirements: Minimum Level 1; one person can play the child, or you can tag for X-mod

Miuna couldn't help but sigh in relief as she finally found a quiet place to sit.  She'd been running around the park for hours trying to help out Faberge, and still she wasn't allowed backstage!  Honestly, the nerve of them sometimes.  She was starting to think she'd have a better chance of just breaking into News 663 studios to meet Tamago-chan instead of trying to achieve it.  She'd helped set up the stage, take pictures, fix lighting... she even wore a giant egg costume while handing out flyers for their next show! 

A small break was well-earned, and she pulled her egg out of her bag, allowing for Lapis to come out.  The poor little guardian had been hiding away from the prying eyes of people everywhere.  Even if most people couldn't see her, children still could.  The Faberge members were also giving her a strange look, and Miuna decided at that point that Lapis should stay out of view.  Not that the little guardian minded much.  There weren't nearly enough activities for guardians, and her school friends were nowhere to be found.

Feeling bad for the glittering little guardian, she pulled out a few homemade cookies from her bag, giving one to the tiny chara.  "Here, Lapis, sorry about stuffing you in there so suddenly."

The guardian "Hmphed!" as she grabbed the cookie and Miuna smiled, munching on her own while she waited for the Faberge team to call her back to work.

[Akihiko]

    Aki leaned against a sign and surveyed the park before him. While he still had fits of feeling like some alien observer, it was more and more often in between a growing sense of belonging. These feelings tended to crest in peaceful moments like these; seeing his neighbors enjoying themselves, and his classmates working hard to make everything run smoothly.

It was also hard to feel lonely with the constant companionship (and more often than not, annoyance) that was his newly hatched friend. At the thought of him, he stuck a hand into his shoulder bag to see how he was holding up. In the middle of a muttered apology for stuffing the tiny thing in there, Aki froze his movements. Then, his head snapped and he desperately dug deeper into an apparently empty bag.

Not too far away from where Aki had slumped to his knees, the missing guardian floated among the falling cherry blossoms. His hands were tucked under his head in a relaxed pose, as if he was in a hammock rather than the air. He was content to stay above most human's sights, that is, until he saw another guardian and something that looked absolutely delicious. 

He floated lazily downward, like a leaf, until he was close enough to the bejeweled guardian and her human to throw out a casual "Sup? Those handmade?"

Miuna was ready to get up and return to work when she felt a small presence drift past her ear. She turned her head quickly, braid slapping against the back of the chair. Had her mouth not been full of cookies, she probably would have swore to the school and back, instead choking rather ungracefully. She took a moment to swallow and clear her throat before looking back up.

From the looks of it, it appeared to be a little guardian, though his owner was nowhere near him. Lapis looked overjoyed, flying up to greet the tiny chara with two cookies in her hand.

"Why of course!" she said, proudly glancing at Miuna. If there was a single redeemable quality in the girl, it was her cooking, "If I'd known there was another guardian in the vicinity, I would have been more than happy to share. I'm Lapis, this is Miuna. Would you like to try one? They've got a jelly center."

While the gem chara offered the snack, Miuna backed away. She was still trying to recover from the shock of another guardian's presence. Even if Lapis followed her nearly everywhere, the appearance of such creatures was a surprise. This one was so different than the others she'd met as well, much less proper and put together. Taking a moment to study him, she narrowed her eyes. "Hey, aren't you supposed to have a student with you?"

The unfamiliar guardian accepted the treat gladly and took a mouthful. He looked enraptured by the way his face lifted up to the sky, and in fact seemed to think it so tasty that he took several long moments before coming back to the present. When he finally directed his attention back to Miuna, he said in a sleepy sort of voice, "That was, like, totally crazy-sauce, man. You made this? Thought I was eatin' straight rad vibes, but, it's like, naw... Naw, man..."



He appeared satisfied with this explanation and took another savoring bite. "'N' yeah, I guess I got me an old man. He's a buzzkill, though so i ditched, y'feel? But we're working on it. He's aight" Just then, another new voice interupted the moment.



"There you are! How long have you been flying around, for everyone to see!?" Akihiko's voice cracked, another item to check off on the list of ways to ruin his image. He spoke again, now in a loud whisper, upon noting the bystanders in his periphery: "Ah, h-hey there. Sorry for this, I--"



It had taken a few moemnts of standing there to even notice Lapis's precence. Silently, he raised a hand to point at her, a bewildered look on his face.

Miuna couldn't help but grin at the little guardian. He was so different from everyone else she'd met. The others all seemed to hold a type of responsibility over their students but this little guy was as free as the wind itself. "An old man? What, did someone realize their dream fifty years too late or something?"

Upon hearing another voice though Miuna turned around, noticing a classmate walking towards her. He seemed to recognize the tiny creature and the girl automatically assumed that he was its rightful owner. He also most certainly did not look like a buzzkill or a senior citizen. "Wow, and here I was expecting you to be much more wrinkly. You look pretty young for being an 'old man.'"

She continued to snicker even as her guardian scolded her, pulling at her hair to try and get her to stand up straight and stop slouching over. Honestly, this girl was such a mess sometimes! Rolling her eyes at Lapis's nonstop nagging, Miuna pushed the little guardian away, handing her and the laid back chara another cookie to split.

"Yeah, I have one too," Miuna finally replied once the tiny guardians were settled in with their treats, "I'm guessing you haven't seen too many? You look kind of... well, lost to say the least. You want to sit down? You seem like you need a breather, and I've got some pretty decent cookies to share."
