It might be in the library, or left in a common room; someone else might be looking for it though, or maybe you could look for it with a friend--maybe a friend even already knows about it and its whereabouts!

She barely knew a thing! Quite frankly she hated not knowing. The initial shock of 'birthing' an egg had already worn off but it wasn't as if she'd forgotten all about it...

The more days that went by, the more she noticed she wasn't the only one flabbergasted by the appearance of an oddly decorated egg. Especially those poor guys who had to somehow come to terms that they'd just laid an egg. Although the idea was admittedly amusing...

She was putting her foot down today. This was the last straw!! She would at least dig up something about this ireggular  occurrence. It was even easier to make up her mind with rumor of a book that might just have all the answers and gosh darn it she was just so freaking curious. 

Waiting for a day off, Junko set out for the school campus, dressed to tackle any enemy encounter !! 

She clutched on to the strap of her bag as she glanced around, her best guess was to start in the library. I mean it was a book right? Although she was hesitant about checking there...when she thought about it, an important book wouldn't be out in the open like that. Especially not when it was apparent there was something about this school and eggs. God, she never wanted to see another omelette as long as she lived. This was scrambling her brain enough as it is.

The book could be anywhere honestly...especially when it was mostly a rumor she'd heard through other students equally curious about their lil Tamago-chans....Where would she even start???

She groaned, burying her face in her hands as she grumbled to herself. She was lost. So lost.

This quest was at a higher difficulty level then she anticipated. 

[Ji-Soo]

The little blue egg in Ji-Soo's pocket rolled around as he bounced his way onto campus. Honestly the way the little egg shook made it look like it was dancing; how cute. Near the beginning of the school year, he had once joked about eating his egg, but slightly glad he didn't.

Everywhere he went, people talked about eggs, eggs and more eggs so they must be important after all. Often times, Ji-Soo wanted to ask someone what this whole lowkey uproar was about, but that involved talking, or in his case, writing out long explanations about what he was trying to ask. It was too much of a hassle. Which is why he was so excited to head to school today as when he was passing by some students on the way back to the dorms last night, he overheard them talking about a book on the subject. Books he could do! 

Rationally, the best place to look for a book was the library so that's where he was headed first; only to stop when he noticed a brown hair girl pacing in a confused manner...outside of the boys' bathroom? Now Ji-Soo wasn't sure what to think at first; was that her gender identified bathroom? Was she lost? Or simply just a pervert? 

The only way to find out was to ask he guessed. Pulling out his sketchpad, Ji-Soo began to write as he ambled his way over to the girl. He bopped her lightly on the head with his sketchpad to get her attention and held the words out for her to read.
"What's wrong?"

"U-uwaah!"

She jumped slightly, spinning around to look at her sudden attacker. Ooh! It had been a notepad...nice choice of weapon!! She paused for a moment, realizing there were words on the paper. She was a bit confused at first but eventually she looked around, not exactly realizing where exactly she'd managed to wander off to. With a slight gasp she looked back to Ji-soo with a sheepish look.

"A-ah I was looking for a book!" She fished through her bag and pulled out her egg, showing it to him. "Everyone seems to have one of these and there's supposed to be some book that has information on it! I'm trying to finally get some clear answers from it but I can't seem to think of where to start first..." She paused before blushing slightly. "B-But I wasn't going to go in the boys' bathroom to look! I-I got lost in thought and ended up here without realizing it..."

She was lucky she hadn't actually walked into it too. That would've been one memory she'd never live down.

"Oh! Speaking of!! You don't have any idea where it might be do you..? I'll take any hints frankly...I was thinking the library but I have a feeling that might be too obvious.."

Oh. This girl had an egg too! Ji-Soo didn't know that anyone else had been as curious as he had been about the whole topic, maybe they could work together on this. He spared a glance at the sign and internally chuckled. Maybe he should ignore the little fact that they were talking about this in front of the boy's bathroom. She didn't seem like that bad of a person either, judging by the sheepish look and embarrassed blush, she must really just have bad luck of ending up in the wrong place when she gets lost.

He decided to write something on his sketchpad quickly and pull out his own blue egg. "I have an egg too!", opening the palm of his hand with the little egg in the middle of it to emphasize his point. Flipping his pad back around and tapping his marker on his lips he thought out what the other had told him. Yeah, the library was a bit of an obvious place, he had heard another person mention-

Hands flew across the page in slightly messy scrawl so that he didn't take too long to write and held out the pad to be read. "I heard that 1 of my classmates had found an old book and handed it in2 the the teacher's lounge; that it maybe?" By this point the page had been filled up so Ji-Soo flipped to a clean sheet and started again with a big smile. "I'm looking for the book 2, mind me coming along? I'm Ji-Soo btw."

She bat her eyes, looking at his egg with fascination. "It's so cute...! Aahh...!" She couldn't get over how different all the little eggs were, each one was individually personalized to each person. It was so interesting. She wish she knew why...

"Uwah!! R-really??" She looked at him with big eyes. Oh what a scoop!! She had managed to find someone who had an even better idea of where the book might be. Lucky !! "Although the teacher's lounge'll be difficult to get into..." It wasn't exactly somewhere you just waltzed into casually anyway. You needed a real good reason to be there.

"Ah! Nice to meet you Ji-soo!! I'm Junko!" She grinned. "But you can call me Jojo if you like!"

Jojo, that name seemed to really fit her. It sounded as bubbly and energetic as she was. Ji-Soo couldn't help but return the grin with a smile of his own. He had finally gotten someone to help him out with this whole egg business; hopefully that makes this easier? Maybe even a friend, since she didn't seem to mind waiting for him to write in order to talk-This wasn't the time to be think about this, plan first.

Junko was right, the teacher's lounge was hard to get into, the only time he ad been there was for when he got brought in for "assault" but that definitely wasn't something to relive again. Maybe they could always try sneaking in there after hours when all the teachers had gone home. The window that faced the school entrance in the teacher's lounge; they could use that? Maybe he should ask her.

The first line of scrawls came out messy, but just barely legible enough "We can always try getting taken in for-" Ji-Soo realized what he had accidentally wrote instead and flipped the pad to quickly scratch it out, "We can always try getting taken in for-sneaking in after hrs? 1 window has a latch broken so it can't lock." He was quite sure that window he had seen in his hours of sitting in the teacher's lounge waiting to get picked up was fairly high, "Though it's high up?"

Junko crossed her arms as they began to discuss their assault plan on the teacher's lounge. It wasn't exactly an easy feat, if they weren't so lucky they could easily run into a teacher who was straggling behind leaving the school. The last thing she wanted was to get caught and get in trouble. She just wanted answers...

She waited as Ji-Soo wrote out a few words on his notepad, carefully reading as he turned it to her. It was suddenly turned back around, apparently he'd thought of something better. She waited patiently once again before he turned it back around. "Oh..! That might work...although you're right the height is a problem.."

"Do you think we'd need a ladder or would just using each other to climb up and pull up into the window would work?" If her father could hear her now, talking about breaking into a teacher's lounge, she was sure he'd have a stroke.

It never occurred to Ji-Soo that what they were doing was borderline criminal. They would just be reading the book and then leaving with just answers he thought.

Junko was right though, there were two options; a ladder or a human tower. The only other entrance to that room was through the door, and there were so many things that could go wrong there. Now that left the problem of getting the resources to actually act on one of those two options. Where would they find a ladder even? Did the school even have one? That meant……Ji-Soo stared up at the taller girl, he was a whole three inches shorter than her; would he even be able to support her on his shoulders?

He decided to ask Junko herself. “I don’t no bout a ladder, but we can try using each other to climb up?” Now how to ask this next question carefully without offending her. “I don’t know if I can lift u, would u b able to lift me?” Good, neutral enough he had hoped. “Should we trial run it first?” It might be better to figure that out here than to realize it was impossible later on.

Hmm, he had a point. He...probably couldn't lift her up. S-she wasn't heavy or anything!! But her height was kind of an issue. She wasn't exactly short and for some reason short people were easier to carry or lift. Which was ridiculous. S-she was just as light as they were! But...she wasn't exactly going to force some guy she just met to hoist her up no questions asked. Besides, her height factored in might help them get in...!

"Oh! Yeah good idea! I bet we'd have more luck getting in too because I'm a bit taller." She crouched down, turning her back towards him. "Alrightie! Hop on sport!"

Ji-Soo couldn’t help but hesitate for a second about climbing on. Admittedly, it mostly had to do with himself. Sure he was a well-proportioned person and healthy, but……being left out of gym and team sports because of his “challenges” over the years left him light; well scrawny. Especially for a person, let alone a boy his age. Hopefully Junko wouldn’t pick up on that little fact, it was a bit embarrassing after all. He could hardly lift anything, so better to sidestep that piece of knowledge than admit it outright too.

Slowly, Ji-Soo bent down with care to place his sketchpad and marker on the ground before taking a step forward, diving Junko a nod. With a shaky hand, the Korean boy braced himself on the other’s shoulders and hopped onto her back. Putting weight on her back suddenly like that pitched the other girl forward a bit from the momentum. Silently, the boy prayed that she would be able to hold him, and if so, not notice if he was light or not.

"Whooooup you go!"

She had no problem suddenly hoisting him up, standing up once he'd managed to place himself on her shoulders. He was surprisingly light, not quite what she had expected but hey it made things kinda easier so that was cool ! She took a step forward, testing out their new formation.

So far so good, she was able to take a few steps with a bit of ease. Although every so often she could feel his weight shifting forward or backwards and it would throw her off, terrified she'd throw him off.

"Okay....how far can you reach up now?" She glanced up at him as best she good, waiting for some sort of signal.

So they were a pretty solid tower, until Junko took a few steps, then the world felt like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. At least they could reach up to about 8 feet now. That should be good enough to reach that window!

Ji-Soo looked down at the girl hoisting him up and gave her a thumbs up and a satisfied grin. The next minute, a tap on the Junko's shoulder signalled her to crouch down to let him put his feet back on the ground again. It hadn't been so bad actually, he was sure they would be able to tower their way into that teacher's lounge now. Sketchbook and pen retrieved from the ground, he happily wrote out, "We're solid, let's do this!"

After getting the signal to set him back down, she crouched down allowing him to hop off. She stood back up, stretching her arms before putting them on her hips. They both probably looked fairly silly, randomly wandering around with another person atop her shoulders but it had been kinda cool! Like a test of strength or a fun game or something like that.

"Alright, partner let's get sneakin'!"

Now they just had to make their way towards the teacher's lounge area and climb up! They were so close to a mission complete! Junko was itching to read that book, or at least SEE if it was in there! She was too curious for own good but there were so many questions spinning around she wouldn't be able to focus until she got them sorted.

Ji-Soo was giddy for a lack of a better word. There had only been one other instance when he had visited the teacher's lounge, and honestly, the people there hadn't been nice to him at all. Who takes away a mute person's sketchbook and then tell them to talk? This time, he was going to take a book instead of getting one taken away. Ah, the sweet feeling of revenge.

Both Junko and Ji-Soo made their way over to the side of the building that lead to the teacher's lounge window. This particular side of the wall was mostly filled with shrubbery and trees such that the only things passing through there were small animals. There was no chance they would get caught climbing in and the only source of danger was if there was someone inside. A strangling teacher could definitely blow their plans wide open. No time to think about that now. Ji-Soo scribbled out one quick word, ripped out a page from his notebook and placed the sketchpad itself against the wall. "Ready?" the loose leaf paper read.
