With every new season came changes to the city, warmer clothes and new restaurant menus were the obvious ones, but people like Takeo often forgot that the new season also included brand new TV shows to air. But not an avid tv watcher himself //more of a netflix and chill kind of guy, he didn’t notice that there was a huge thing coming from the faberge agency that could not solve, but help, many of his problems.
Coming out of the supermarket he always frequented, for groceries and vices, Takeo caught the glimpse of one of those obnoxiously bright yellow faberge posters glued to one of the window walls. A new game show promised the gross sum of 500,000 yen for the team of two that completed the course in the shortest time before the other couples. it was too good to be true, but he had to take this chance!
But who would be up to risk his dignity into a crusade of crazy trials for money, with him... The only person he could think about was Juon Corea, the upperclassman he considered least likely to take part into something tiresome like that. but after a short exchange of twitter messages, Takeo’s perception of Juon would be proven wrong. FOr better or for worse, he was up to it.
It was either the best idea that Takeo has had in ages, or the worst mistake to mancillate his reputation for the rest of the school year. That was, without taking into account how easily it was to convince his trial partner to give it a try. no need for persuasion! The idea of money, and the concept of the game show, were enough to motivate the second and third years, whose names and basic information were sent on a filled application to participate in the faberge contest, online.
Takeo notified his friend one last time after sending the sign up form, and waited until he would get a notification on his email for the show’s date. Excited, but nervous, Takeo thought of the posibilities before him, if they won the game show and 250,000 yen for each. It wasn’t a lot, per se, but he could make a few turns to his destiny with that money.
Ai Miuna (either! whoever wants to mod the gameshow course for fun)
