Sundays were usually Yuki's days off. And it was like that, originally. He was just going to relax and catch up on hero shows before doing random things like homework and working on his manga. But when he walked downstairs, his grandpa had to show up. Saying that he was visiting or something, when in reality he was probably just checking on the health of his dad's restaurant. As an owner of a bigger restaurant in another part of East Otonoki, he had a good say in what his parents did when it came to their business. It'd be okay, honestly, if he just didn't hate his grandfather so much. He belittled Yuki every time he came, saying that he was worthless and not doing anything productive with his life. He knew it was true. But his parents had always been nice to him, and wasn't used to his criticism, and after a while he just snapped. He basically walked out the door before his grandpa or anyone else could say anything, but now he wasn't sure what to do. He was pretty damn hungry though.
Suddenly, he got a text from an unknown number.
<Since you're out, pick up a pack of smokes. You know what brand I like.>
He wanted to throw his phone. He probably knew he hadn't gone out that much, since the smoke shop was across the street. But...he was underage. How the hell was he gonna buy a pack? He just shook his head. He was gonna just head downtown and find somewhere to eat.
"Yukiya-dono, are you all right?" Kanpa asked. He didn't realize his character came with him. Yuki just nodded in response, and headed downtown. But where to eat? And how long could he stay out until his parents or grandpa asked for him to come back. Kanpa wasn't used to seeing Yuki mad - more often he was scared, due to all the X-Activity - but as Yuki calmed down, Kanpa just became his usual, jolly self, talking excitedly about the developments Yuki had made in making his manga. After a while, Yuki found himself on a bench, trying to find the nearest breakfast place.
