[AQ] Meaty Noms [Hiro/Aoife]

[Aoife]

The girl let out a quiet snort - clearly amused. Honestly she didn't expect him to be able to say any of the words that she'd just spoken. Even Irish people sometimes had some difficulty pronouncing certain parts of the Irish Gaelic. It happened but she didn't think she'd say that out loud. "Nice try." It wasn't the worst she'd heard. "Oh - yeah, I suppose that would be a huge factor in it." Of course money was always a factor. 

"I suppose you are - I mean, I haven't run off yet - so you can't be that awful." Which was very true - Aoife wasn't scared to actually like just leave if he seemed too odd. She'd done it before and she'd do it again. There would be no regrets in this girls life and if she thought that he was a waste of her time she'd be off. "I mean, you're not boring either...or don't seem to be. So thats a plus too."  

The girl pressed her tongue to the back of her teeth and let out a slow, low breath. Okay - no she could handle this one. If she'd never seen a Guardian Character before she might have freaked out a little more obviously but as it was she'd already met Calli - and she was a lot more in her face than...the nurse was. "Not use to it no." She looked like a nurse. At least...she didn't obviously look like a fairy. Aoife took another breath and forced herself to relax a little. "Apparently, yeah." Wait - how did he know? She turned her eyes to him, a clear look of confusion on her face. "How did you -" She figured his guess was less of a guess and was just another egg thing. Which she supposed made some kind of weird sense. 

[Hiro]

Could that even be considered a try? He had no clue. On the money factor convo, though, he nodded. "Gotta love being dirt poor, huh?" He chuckled softly.

He smiled crookedly, leaning an elbow on the table idly. "Well good. For the record, I don't think you're boring either." He wasn't scared to leave either, but he was more likely to just piss the other party off enough to make them leave first. He had no shame when it came to shit like that.

"You get used to 'em." He shrugged lightly. At her confused expression, his crooked grin widened. "It's just something I can tell. I can sense it... you smell like you have a heart's egg, that's all." He pushed some hair out of his face idly. "Kushu... can you not hover over my food? It's for me, not you." He chastised his guardian character.

The pink and white haired chara turned and looked to Hiro, hands on her hips. "Yeah well if it's for you, it's for me!" She huffed a bit. "So share." She glanced to Aoife after a moment. "Oh hello cutie." She waved lightly with a smile, just now noticing her. Good job, Kushu, good job.

[Aoife]

"Hm-hm." She nodded her head a little - while she might certainly live in big old houses...they were the only real money the family had. She was aware of how difficult it could be to actually survive without a hell ton of money stashed somewhere. Well -they certainly could have sold the two homes...but family attachment, y'know?

"Wow, super flattered right here." She sat back in her seat a little - before realizing that she actually still had food. Her hands once again found her chopsticks and she continued eating for a short moment. Honestly - with the amount of annoying brothers and sisters she'd developed quite the tolerance for people trying to piss her off. And if he did she'd have no trouble telling him he was an ass to his face.

She blinked and blinked again. "Yeah that doesn't sound creepy or anything." Her smile had curled into something a little teasing and she found herself tilting her head. "I get it - your one of those weird guys who goes around sniffing people right?" She was only partially joking - how could he smell the egg - that made almost not sense to her. 

Her attention was stolen from the boy as the Guardian Character spoke to her directly. She didn't think she'd been expecting it. And she may have jumped a little. She already had the mantra of 'not a real fairy' going in her head - so she was considerably more calm that she would have been a few moments ago. "H-hello." She nodded her head a little, her hand waving a small amount - she didn't seem like an awful little fairy so...she could relax a little again right? ...Cutie though? Really? 

[Hiro]

"You should be." He commented, regarding the flattered bit. "I don't say that very often. Most people are boring, so. There are only a few whom I consider... well, not boring." He shrugged lightly.

He snorted at the next comment. "Oh yes, totally." He replied, sarcasm lacing his words... but he smiled. "I don't know... smell is just the sense I use to describe it. Honestly, it's more like... I just know." He shrugged. "A little flag pops up in my brain and says, 'This person has a Heart's Egg.'"

He moved to poke Kushu's side with his chopsticks. "Shoo." He made an annoyed look, pursing his lips. "You don't even need to eat do you... tch." He started eating though as Kushu talked to Aoife... and also pushed away Hiro's chopsticks. Little bratty chara.

Kushu brushed hair off of her shoulder, huffing at Hiro, then glanced back to Aoife. Floating up, she floated on over to Aoife, staring at her a bit intently... as if judging her. "Hmmm...." She mused, hand rubbing her chin a bit. "Oh, I know!" She reached into a little bag she had over her shoulder and pulled out a bandage! It was green and had little trees on it. She offered it to Aoife. Peace offering? Gift?

[Aoife]

"Ah, nice then." She almost rolled her eyes, but managed to resist the urge somehow. She was sure he probably wouldn't have noticed if she had - but she'd have felt a tiny bit bad for it in the end. "Super lucky me." Ah - but really she was kind of glad he didn't consider her boring. 

"Ah, yeah. You totally seem that type." He didn't...or...well she wasn't really good at sensing what people were like, so she'd just have to wait and see if he really did seem like he'd turn out to be a weirdo. She should hope not. "That...sounds annoying." If Yasuko had been telling the truth, well then there would have been a lot of times where that flag would have been knocked up a number of times. "But you just know, huh?" That was...interesting. She wondered if that was a thing that happened after a while of having the egg or something.

The girl felt her lips twitch a little at the little Guardian Characters actions. The not really a fairy fairy, did seem to have some kind of resemblance to the fairies of folklore huh? She seemed, even in that short moment, to be a slightly mischievous thing. 

She blinked a little at the small fairy as she offered a...cute patterned plaster. Band aid. Band aid. Most people didn't understand her when she spoke UK-ish. "Oh-" She moved her hand a little, carefully taking the offered band-aid. "Thank you." It wasn't often she got cut - but brighter plasters were better and easier to spot if she had to like bake or something. Okay - so this little one wasn't scary at all - although she kind of wanted to return the favor of the plaster - she didn't think she had anything in her bag but the next time she met the Guardiand Character she'd definately have something for her. 

[Hiro]

Good thing she didn't roll her eyes, he probably WOULD have noticed it, honestly. He's pretty observant, usually he just doesn't care, though. He probably wouldn't have minded that much if she had... it wouldn't be the first person to do so at him.

"Mm I guess, yeah..." He nodded, in regards to just knowing. "It's some kind of sense I don't know." He shrugged a little.

Hiro just ate while Kushu was distracted... or she'd probably ask for some and he wanted to eat it all himself... it was his food after all. Kushu got plenty of treats, she didn't need this, too.

Kushu, on the other hand, smiled brightly when Aoife took the bandage. She spun in a circle happily, her dress and hair flowing out in an arc. She curtsied after a moment to Aoife, then nodded. "You're welcome! Put it to good use!" She giggled slightly, a soft kekeke sound escaping her. Then she suddenly seemed to remember that Hiro had food and was eating; but, by the time she turned to see, he was just finishing up the last of the bowl!!

"Hiro--!!" She whined immediately, flying over and peering into his bowl. "You ate it all!! You pig!" She huffed, hands on her hips while Hiro slurped up the last of his food.

[Aoife]

The girl watched as the boy quickly finished his food from the corner of her eye. This...was far more amusing than she'd originally anticipated. She'd just been hoping to not be bored and here she was actually getting entertainment with her food as well. 

Aoifes attention had mostly turned to the little fairy - which was weird considering they scared the hell out of her. But there was nothing wrong with being respectful right? It...just in case. The Irish girl was just a little bit worried about the entire thing. Fairies were like, super dangerous and just not all that great. Being polite was just the best option for her. Or she'd feel like she was doing something really wrong. 

The girls head tilted as the Guardian Character spoke again. She was...hoping that she might not actually have to use the band aid anytime soon. Although considering she sometimes cut up her fingers when she was cooking, even after so much practice, it probably would come in handy. "I will yeah." Kushu - was adorable, or at least Aoife thought so with her happy giggle and spinning. It was cute if not slightly evil sounding.

The girl finished off her own noodles in the same moment that Kushu turned back to Hiro. 

[Hiro]

Hiro wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, then shrugged in Kushu's direction. Not his fault she was busy talking to the girl there. "Guess you'll have to starve." He replied to the fairy nonchalantly. "Too bad."

He glanced to Aoife, who seemed to be finished with her food, then smirked. "Well, thanks for letting me join you-- and for keeping me entertained... but now that I'm done eating..." He grabbed his baseball cap, putting it on, then tipped the brim of it toward Aoife. "I should go." He grinned crookedly.

Kushu, though, was kind of upset. "Hiro! I want food! You owe me!" She flew up, flying in a quick circle around Hiro's head, as if she were an annoying fly buzzing around or something. "Buy me something on the way home!" She huffed. Hiro proceeded to, of course, ignore the buzzy little guardian character as he pushed himself up to a standing position. "I'll see you around, I'm sure." He nodded to her as was polite, more of a head bow than anything, then pivoted on his heel and headed out... not really giving Aoife a chance to respond really... sorry Aoife.
