The storm in the air seemed to reflect their confrontation as the emotions occasionally dropped or rose with each breath. Junko's grandmother always believed the storm was a sign of those above showing their remorse for those below that they could no longer help. It certainly was a dreary sign of nothing good as the two continued to holler back and forth, still so far from a conclusion as they seemed to reach the same dead end they always did.
The second year stood there, the fatigue slowly setting in on every inch of her as the two remained at a stalemate, neither one saying a word as the storm continue roam above them. Her chest was still beating rapidly in anticipation and a mixture of anxiety as she had no idea how any of this would turn out. It was obvious she wasn't going to cure Miuna. Not today but...she was getting closer. She felt like Miuna reaction was a sign of her finally inching slowly closer to resolving it all. She let herself grasp onto that small bit of hope and she'd hold onto it for as long as she possibly could until she saw this through until the very bitter end.
Her eyes remained on the crystals that surrounded the first year, adamant about making sure Miuna knew she would not leave Junko's sight. She paused for a moment before slowly moving her head side to side. "No." She refused, taking another step forward, the fabric of her transformation draped around her as the rain forced it to cling to her legs and armor. "This isn't over Miuna. I can't let you keep doing...any of this. Just because you're suffering doesn't mean you can take it out on others...so I'll be here. To stop you. To help them. I will fix this. I will. I promise. You won't have a slither of patience when I'm done with you Miuna. I'm not loosing someone again. You have my word."
The heels of her armor stuck in the ground as the rain slowly turned it to mud, the speckles of mud already making their way up her legs as she took each step forward. She'd take a note from Miuna's book. She wouldn't rest until she did this one thing. She'd run herself into the ground if she had to but she'd see it through no matter what. It was the least she could do for her friend. For someone she cared about so much. Miuna would do the same for her.
