So it's one of his classmates that got his phone confiscated? Huh. At first, he didn't care, but he's not going to take being a scapegoat just because all he ever does during his time off from school is take selfies and everyone knows that his hand is stuck to his phone or something. So now he's going to sneak in there and check if it's really true that the message was sent from his phone? What is so embarrassing about it? It's not like he knows who this person really is, so why would he bother ever messaging them anything, let alone something that would be bad for him.

Teacher's lunchbreak.

He skipped his own lunchtime just to make sure he had the right time. Why is he doing a lot of sneaking around lately? It's not like him to be like this. But since everyone thinks he'll continue to just take things to the face, even unpleasant ones, he felt the need to prove otherwise. So yes, he's acting a little out there. He finally had the right chance. Alone in the teacher's room, he doesn't think that anyone would need anything during teacher's lunchbreak. So high profile break ins are okay. Or he's just really underestimating the system.

"Hah, as I thought. The message isn't from me." The number is completely unrecognizable. It's definitely not his number. he could show this as proof, right? But for now, he probably has to go back out. But maybe....He could just delete the message and then go scot free. He wouldn't have to prove anything. So he stood there frozen, looking at the phone screen. Oh, what to do...

Lunch breaks always proved to be rather boring, having to listen to other students chatter as they couldn't be bothered to keep their voices down. It also meant he had to deal with the pathetic cat that kept following him around. No matter what he need the small guardian chara continued to pursue him, even if he tried to hide himself Yosuke could still hear his pathetic whimpering a mile away. Muttering some about his "duties". He honestly couldn't care less but couldn't he be a bit quieter?

In his vain attempts to get away from his classmates he wandered the halls, not that there was much interesting about the halls. There were still students who littered them, giggling and laughing without a care in the world.

He hesitated, hearing something ever so faintly coming from one of the classrooms. The guardian chara came out of hiding only to hide behind the third year's shoulder. "Y-yo-chan...b-be careful...." He scoffed, ignoring the sprite's words as he opened the door. "Well well, what have we here? Breaking into the classroom to steal huh? Impressive..." A grin appeared across his smug face, crossing his arms as he leaned against the doorway. "Too bad you got caught red handed huh?"

Standing there will only get him caught. And that happened. "Huh? Sure I broke in, but I wasn't planning to steal the phone." He wasn't sure what to do with it. "What do you think I should do with it, then?" Not sure if he should ask this person what to do, he's the one who caught him red handed after all. "There's an embarrassing message in here and they blamed me for sending it? It's not even my number." Now he's just talking too much. Maybe he should just steal it. Or delete the message and be done with it. But with this guy around, he's probably not going to go free.

"So it doesn't look like I have much of a choice then." What could he stand to lose by admitting to something he didn't do. "You don't look like you'll give me a break. So I guess I can just say I sent it and then take the punishment. Or something." Well, there goes his entire day. He's still not good at standing up for himself, that's for sure. The smirk on Yosuke's face unfortunately reminded him of a few other not so nice people. And it would be best to avoid confronting them, lest he wants some kind of trouble.

"So you admit to breaking in but oh no stealing. You've already been caught doing something you're not supposed to." He raised an eyebrow, though the other student didn't certainly seem all that too concerned that he'd been caught in the first place. "I mean, depending on whose phone it is, steal it. Obviously. For...'purposes'. I guess." There had to be something of use on the phone, at the very least he wanted to know why it was so interesting that this second year had to break into the room for it. Was it really worth it?

"You're pretty quick to throw the towel in aren't you? I said you were caught red handed but I didn't say I was gonna rat you out. Chill." Courage looked at Yosuke, not entirely understanding. Typically when you catch someone doing something bad you told someone...The small chara sighed. What else did he expect from Yosuke really though. "You gonna turn it on? If not I'll do it." He moved from his spot in the doorway as he moved a bit closer, his hand out for the phone.

"You think I should steal the phone? I don't know..." He stole before, and he knew the consequences aren't going to be pretty. "Purposes? Like, do I need another phone? I'm pretty sure I do, but this model isn't even good." It's not the harshest thing he's ever said, but if he didn't like it, then he didn't. "I don't even wanna own up to a message that is so out of character for me." He thought about maybe stealing the phone. Stealing again just this once and breaking it. But he can't really show his intentions.

"Here. Knock yourself out." He gave Yosuke the phone to turn on. He thought about maybe returning the broken phone so that the teacher will be blamed for breaking it instead. But that means he probably has to ask this guy to play along. "If I steal it and break it, then put it back so that when the teacher returns the phone, he'll get blamed for it." Now he's just muttering to himself. He can't remember when he last thought about doing something this bad.
