It was another fine day at Seiyo. Well, as far as fine days could ever be… at Seiyo. People still avoided Ai as usual, but the boy found that he was slowly starting to get used to it, which wasn’t really right. He had to fight hard to change their minds, right? He wasn’t a delinquent not a bad guy at all and everyone had to know it. Though admittedly, he did manage to make a few friends, which he was really grateful for. It was funny how all of them seemed to be girls, not that he minded genders or anything, but guys were by default a little more comfortable for him. As a girl, you couldn’t really beat a bro.

Ai was currently in the library with Nagamasa, trying hard to study for an upcoming exam. While the guardian didn’t seem exactly interested in what the boy was doing, he took advantage of the silence in the room to do some meditation because, every true warrior needed some alone time to ‘find themselves’, right? “ Gee, math isn’t easy…” Ai complained to himself. He’d have to do better if he wanted to aim for 3-A next year. Did his fellow second year mates struggle as much as he did? The boy couldn’t help but wonder.

Dainan

[Dainan]

It was turning out to be a nice day at Seiyo, the weather was nice and no big incidents had happened yet, it was surprisingly peaceful… and Dainan was stuck in the library. He needed to study, he had been doing pretty well in class but he had been falling far behind in math. If he had it his way he would have gone outside and enjoyed the day, maybe talked someone into hanging out and going somewhere; but no. He was stuck in a corner of the library, staring into a textbook and trying desperately hard to understand what this problem meant and how to solve it.

He leaned back in his chair and groaned, crossing an arm over his eyes as his guardian, Eithan, crossed his arms and stomped over to him. He was holding a pencil, he’d been trying to help the tall boy study… neither of them understood it, though, so it wasn’t the best plan.

“C’mon, I’m sure we had it… almost,” Eithan hit Dainan’s hand with the pencil he had been holding, “We have to at least get one problem right then we can take a break.” Now, the guardian wasn’t exactly quiet… and he hadn’t realized there was another student studying as he spoke loudly to his companion.
