"COME ON, LOOK ALIVE, PEOPLE!" Shun is just prancing around at the camp, energetic as ever. "Early beards gets the wyrm!" He's sure that's not the correct way to say that analogy, but it's the same all around, right? Between smelling the flowers and acting like a real life snow white, he has the time to bother people to wake up. He tries his best to motivate them, but not all of them are going to listen, probably. He would run circles around his new found friends when they are wide awake.

Among them are Ji-Yoo, Yukiya and Demi. Mmmhmmm. These lucky people. "WAKEY WAKEY RISE AND SHINY." The first he would try to get to open their eyes is Yuki. Being in a close-by tent, he's the first to fall victim to his prodding. "Yukiiiiiiiii, wake uuuuuuup. Let's go go go go!" Shun decided to bounce up and down at the corner of his sleeping bag and poke Yuki. How does one gain so much energy in the morning? Well, Shun's a morning person. Early to bed early to rise, and all that.

While waiting for Yuki to respond, he thought he'd go wake the others up, too. Not heeding if there was any separation in the tents, he just ran to where Ji Yoo or Demi might be, to go pester them to wake up, too. "EARTH TO JI-YOO AND DEMI PLEASE WAKE UP!" He can hear some people just grumbling and probably a little upset that he took from their beauty sleep time. But if they wanted beauty sleep, campsites really aren't the best place to do that. "How about we go fishing and stuff? Oh! Collect some food or something?" He sat next to a sleeping bag where he's sure they're sleeping in. If not, that's just one other person he woke up. They should really be up now, anyway.

And where are the teachers anyway? Whatever, saves them the trouble of actually going around and waking up the students with a horn or something.

Yukiya Ji Yoo Demi

So why in the world would Yukiya Minamoto, world's laziest child next to being the most ridiculous flirt, go to a 4 day hiking trip where all he'd be doing is sweating in the hot sun, getting dirt up his nose, and possibly risk bumping into poisonous plants and other dangerous parts of nature? It was his grandfather.

Once upon a time, the old man was a sushi chef at a five star hotel, meaning, his expectations for food preparation were high. In fact, that was how he judged how many people were worthy - especially when it came to dating his two precious daughters. His parents had told the story that the first time his dad tried to impress his grandfather, said grandfather ridiculed his father's signature dish. After bouncing back from the older man's criticism, his father kept trying to make a perfect version until he finally, finally impressed the man, got his blessing to date his mother, and got help in starting his own restaurant. He joked with Yuki that if he didn't try so hard after being put down like that, he and his twin would've never been born.

But did Yuki want to be that guy's grandkid? When it came to the relationship Yuki had with his grandfather, it was...rocky. At best. It didn't help his grandpa would randomly come into the family restaurant like some kind of food critic when Yuki was the main cook. That day Yuki had been too busy on Twitter to notice he had overcooked the pork a bit, but just served it anyway. An hour later, his grandfather came into the kitchen, pulled Yuki out, and lectured the hell out of the kid, about paying attention to the food, the delicate balance between meat and vegetables, and getting off his phone when he was cooking...Yuki just tuned it out as much as he could. It wasn't really different from the other lectures he'd been given, but his grandpa had to ask that one question.

"Is this really what you want to do?"

He just wanted to punch that old man in the face. But instead he just walked out, and kicked a trash can outside instead. Of course, it hurt his foot. But he didn't care. He refused to come back until the man left the restaurant. His dad lectured him too, of course, but his dad never got mad for too long. It was just his personality - what was surprising was that his dad suggesting for him to go on this school sponsored nature hike. His dad said it would be a way for him to think about what he and his grandfather had been talking about when it came to the future of the restaurant. Yuki tried to refuse - finding excuses such as school, clubs, anything - but for once, his father did not budge. It was a punishment for all the times he tried to get out of working, apparently.

So when Shun yelled at him at god-knows-what time it was in the morning after he slept on rocks and dirt, he nearly strangled the kid. Or tried anyway, but Shun was bouncing up and down so much he couldn't touch the kid.

"Get out."

And Shun, did, surprisingly - to wake up other people. He hadn't known Shun for long, but it almost felt like he'd knew more about the curly haired guy than one should ever known in one's life time. At least Ji-Yoo was here. Even irritated, he was curious to see how she was doing after their first meeting on that stormy night. And he could always calm himself down for a girl. Or two. Apparently Shun knew another girl Yuki had never met before, so that perked him up. Reflecting on his grandpa's words? Ha! This outing was just gonna be a vacation with cute girls and...one annoying sidekick.

As he dragged himself out of his tent, he hit the tent pole. He tried to fix it, so it was straighter. Instead, the tent fell on him.

On second thought, this might just be the longest four days of his life.

[Ji Yoo]

A camping trip. Four days stuck in the middle of nowhere, surrounded only by mountains, nature, animals and your friendly neighborhood mosquitoes. With lots of opportunities available to learn survival skills while also playing around, swimming or hiking. Did it sound enticing? To the average student, most likely yes. To the grumpy, impatient, obstinate Ji-Yoo? Hell no. How did she end up in a place like this, you ask? Her parents should hold all the blame.

A notice was made a few weeks prior to the trip. It was something that usually went completely unnoticed by the short-haired girl. Why would she even give attention to school trips when there were so many things to do? What things, you ask? Well, school and Lit club took up most of her time, not to mention that dealing with her fussy guardian character was her new full-time job and probably the hardest one she’ll ever have.

But then, why in the world was she here? Ji-Yoo’s fatal mistake was that she forgot to dispose of the flyers for the trip and accidentally left them sprawled on her desk, in plain sight. It would be a pity if her mom entered the room to check on her daughter and bring her a snack and happened to see the camping notice. Pleas were made, tears were shed, tantrums were thrown, threats were made. The rest was history.

And now, there she was, trying her best to ignore the bugs and get a good rest before the painful 4 days of torture finally started. On a second thought, forget it, she wasn’t even able to do that. And it was all because of an overly excited fellow student she unfortunately happened to know. Shun had decided to give everyone a reason to regret coming on this trip, if they didn’t have one already. The bubbly, curly-haired second year was bouncing up and down, hollering for everyone to wake up.

Now, Ji-Yoo was definitely not a person who slept in, BUT IT WAS 5 IN THE GODDAMN MORNING. Who in their right mind would wake up at this hour? Ji-Yoo let out a painful groan and put the pillow over her head. Maybe Shun was like a mosquito. If she ignored him, he’d go away. The girl wasn’t ready to start the day yet, not with this nuissance around. And to make things worse, a boy she’d met in unfortunate circumstances, Minamoto-san, was also there.

Her only luck was, perhaps, Demi, someone she decided to try and be friends with. She seemed nice enough and Ji-Yoo was able to communicate well with her. They also happened to be sharing a tent.

[Demi]

The one and only reason Demi had agreed to anything resembling a camping trip was because she could get some practice in for archery. That was it. She had never been a fan of the outdoors, especially not survival tactics... and especially not around other people. She didn't want to be here, but... she was anyway. At least it was with a somewhat decent group.

Okay, so maybe not a decent group. Really there was only Ji-Yoo that she felt would be okay. Shun she thought would get eaten by bears at some point during this trip and the other guy she hadn't met... she wasn't sure about him yet, she didn't know what he was like. She hadn't really had a chance to talk to him yet to figure out if he was going to be an ally or a Shun, that is... a liability.

Speaking of liabilities called Shun... Shun was running around waking everybody up. She sat up slowly, her hair a bit messy, and glared at the zipped door to the tent. Picking up her bow that she'd brought with her, along with an arrow, she nocked the arrow and drew the string, pointing the arrow at the door to the tent. It was a little bit difficult due to the size of the bow, but she didn't care.

"Come in here and I'll shoot you." She suddenly spoke, continuing to glare at the door. She probably wouldn't actually shoot him... probably. Maybe. Okay she wouldn't shoot him, but she'd shoot near him to warn him to go the fuck away. Who in their right mind would be up at this ungodly hour anyway??? Certainly not Demi. Plus, I mean, Shun shouldn't be in a tent with two girls... that was just plain wrong. Demi would shoot him if he tried anything, not that she figured Shun would, he seemed like an innocent little virgin.

She glanced to Ji-Yoo then back to the zipped up tent entrance. Just try her, Shun.

Encore, in the mean time, slept away peacefully on Demi's sleeping bag, snoring ever so softly. At least someone could sleep in all the ruckus that Shun was making. Happy days, happy days. Demi just knew she'd never be able to sleep if Shun came in here. "Give us at least one more hour." She huffed. "Girls statistically need more sleep than guys do." She added.

It was too late. He was already inside, he had crept inside a while ago. "It wouldn't be very nice if you shot me with an arrow." He said, pouting. But at the same time, he moved quite a lot, it's probably going to feel like chasing a really hyper and tiny mouse and trying to kill it. "Statistically, what?" He didn't understand what she meant, until Demi mentioned 'more sleep'. "Oh, I think you guys slept enough. I mean, I didn't sleep." He couldn't. Every single little noise kept him up and he ended up sitting outside the tent until he couldn't wait any longer. As soon as the sun popped up, he ran around trying to wake everyone up. How does he have the energy to keep running around like this? The world may never know.

"I didn't bring mr.Muffles with me, so I can't sleep. Besides. Sleep is for the weak." The only one who is also up at this hour and is properly attentive is Leo. It was normal for the guardian to be up at this hour. Since his daily schedules start at such an ungodly hour. He never needed to wake Shun up since he usually gets up by himself anyway. But he didn't want to talk to the guy right now, so he did his own thing while Shun bounced around everywhere and caused a commotion. He can't help it, he's kind of used to this sort of thing. "Come on, I wake up at this time everyday." Shun had a problem. He can't ever sleep in. At home, it's usually him waking up so early to do the chores his parents refuse to do. So when they let him go, he continued that habit, but found that with a lot less to be done, he's just waiting for signs of human life.

"I got nothing else to doooooooo" He whined. "I arranged the camp items in alphabetical order, got rid of dangerous imposing sticks and logs, said hello to the animals, sang a song and then I had to wait. I hate waiting." But he eventually walked outside anyway. Oh, and there's help to be given. Yuki seems to have himself in a pinch with a falling tent. "Oh my god! What are you doing?? That's not how you use a tent!" He ran up to him and helped pull him out of the mess. "Look, I know you want to get back to sleep, but just covering yourself with the remains of your tent isn't going to help." Seriously, they are all so weak. So weak.

"Fine, go back and sleep. I'm gonna go make breakfast so it's ready when you're all done snoring for reals." He skipped to where the fire was started and started with something. He may be a tad too enthusiastic. And old habits die hard. He felt the need to do everything for everyone the first thing in the morning. That, and the irrational fear of the rustling and the noises of the outdoors. To keep him from crying again, he had to distract himself with SOMETHING.

[Yukiya]

Yuki just groaned at Shun as he struggled out of his tent. "I can't sleep in this mess!"

When he finally got out he was going to pick up the pole and set up his tent again, but something about Shun and fire did not sound like it was going to be good times. He jumped up and went to the fire Shun was starting, making sure it was set properly and no flammable things were around.

He felt like someone's babysitter. Except Shun was more hyper than any child he'd ever met.

"What are you making anyway..." he muttered. He rubbed his eyes. Although he came to this trip to avoid cooking, he couldn't stand it if the food he had here was bad. It'd be just one more reason to hate this trip.

[Ji Yoo]

Ah… as expected, mosquitoes didn’t go away all that easily. They had to suck out all your blood first. “Can’t you just shut uppp?” Ji-Yoo yelled from under the blankets. Shun had somehow managed to get into their tent and on top of bouncing around he was also much too chatty for Ji-Yoo’s taste. Demi was trying to deal with him, even resorting to her bow, but it was useless. This boy just couldn’t be defeated. Only on the thought that she’d have to put up with this kind of behavior for four days straight made Ji-Yoo want to start writing up a will. Because she honestly didn’t think she’d make it out alive.

Unable to tolerate his nonsense chatter anymore, the girl jumped out of her blankets and threw a pillow after Shun just as he was going out. Bad timing, but at least he left. She could probably go back and get some more sleep since it didn’t sound like he’ll be coming back, only that she didn’t quite feel like it anymore. She’d barely just woken up, but somehow she felt depleted of energy and it was all because of Shun. Ji-Yoo remembered reading a webtoon awhile back, about vampires who fed on human energy. If Shun were like that, she’d certainly be dead by now.

Back from where Ji-Yoo was sleeping, or well, at least trying to, something small started digging through blankets and trying to get to the surface. Soon enough, out came Kong-Ji, woken up by the commotion. She stretched out her arms and let out a yawn, her ears fluffing up. “Good morning Ji-Yoo chan, Demi chan, Encore chan!” She greeted with a sleepy voice, rubbing her eyes. She was really there, camping with all her best friends. The little guardian couldn’t feel happier about this adventure! Not to mention, she could make more friends. What a day to be alive.

Ji-Yoo seemed quite grumpy this morning and having lived with her for a while, Kong-Ji learned that she shouldn’t bother her during times like these. If she wanted to survive, anyway. The shugo chara didn’t like the aggressive side of Ji-Yoo, but there was nothing she could do besides not annoying her, which she sometimes failed at. Kong-Ji was genuine with her feelings and naturally expected others to be the same, but Ji-Yoo always seemed to want to hide hers. And considering that figuring out someone’s mind wasn’t one of Kong-Ji’s strong points, the two were a little ill-matched.

Their tent was now rather quiet, but sounds were coming from outside. It was probably the boy that had just been there. Kong-Ji stuck her head out of the tent to check out what was going on, and saw two male students trying to light up a fire. So exciting, she thought. Hoping that Ji-Yoo won’t mind her absence too much, the little guardian decided to fly over to the boys and lend them a hand. “H-hello, my name is Kong-Ji.” She introduced herself shyly. “What are you doing? May I help? I REALLY like fires!”. She now had a bright smile plastered on her face.

[Demi]

She nearly shot him with how annoyed she was at being woken up. It was the ass crack of dawn, who is up this early?? Apparently Iwajima Shun was! Demi just... slowly let the string go back to normal, then set the arrow and bow down. She didn't look amused. Good thing Shun was gone or Demi might have tried to strangle the kid. Again she wondered why she even agreed to go on this stupid school sponsored camping trip.

She glanced to Ji-Yoo after the pillow tossing... she knew exactly how you felt Ji-Yoo. Pushing hair out of her face, she shifted in her bedding to grab her clothes. May as well get dressed. It didn't bother her that Ji-Yoo was in the tent because they were both girls, so she just... faced away and quickly changed into some shorts and a tank top. No sense wearing something super nice when camping. She also reached for her bag to grab her deodorant, putting that on and tossing it back. She quickly brushed and braided her hair into two long braids to keep it out of her face, then grabbed her face cleansing wipes. She wiped her face down, then set the wipes over near Ji-Yoo in case the other girl wanted to use some. See, she can be thoughtful... sometimes.

She fixed her sleeping area, then reached for her bug spray. She noticed Encore still snoozing away on her pillow. The fact that the guardian character could sleep through Shun was rather annoying to Demi... so she just... got ready.

"Do you need bug spray?" Demi asked, pushing the thoughts about Encore sleeping out of her head as she glanced to Ji-Yoo. "I can spray you down outside of the tent." She didn't want to spray any in here or it'd be rather... thick. She didn't want to head out of the tent until Ji-Yoo was done getting dressed and ready for the day so, she waited, sitting on her sleeping bag and letting out a yawn.

She still had to brush her teeth, too, now that she thought about it... but she couldn't do that in here, either. So she had to wait. She heard speaking of fires and wondered if they'd actually be able to get a fire going or if she and Ji-Yoo would have to help out. She wouldn't doubt how inept Shun really might be. And she didn't know the other guy enough to know how good he was or wasn't at building a fire.

"Whaddaya mean 'DO YOU KNOW HOW TO MAKE A FIRE?' Of course I do!" The look in Yuki's eyes says it all, he didn't think Shun's capable of doing it. Neither did Demi, apparently. But at the sight of Kong Ji wanting to help, he lit up a bit. "YEAH! I like making fire too!" They sound like a bunch of crazy pyromaniacs now. "Come on, have a little faith? When the stove doesn't work at home, I usually start a campfire in the backyard." Come to think of it, sometimes his electricity is cut off, sometimes the water, he's probably felt the inconvenience of every kind of 'shut off' available. Just because his family is always short in paying the bills. Sort of. And when they weren't, they'd live in excess.

Shun's no world class chef, but all the tiny chores including cooking at home, he had to do. He isn't as hyper when he's working on something, although he can be quite easily distracted. "I hope you like a good campfire pie, cause I got some preserves and jelly that'll go super nice with that." Ah, if there's an activity that would bring the more useful side of him out, it's probably cooking. "You know the really heavy things in my bag? Those are just pie irons and pots. And some utensils." He said, humming. His clothes were nowhere to be found. Except that it was in a shabbier looking bag, in a tangled mess, probably. But who has time to iron clothes in the wilderness anyway?

"I'm making compote over here, in case people's preferences are different. Hand picked and tasted the berries myself. Can't you tell I'm super hype for this trip?" He giggled as he stirred the pot of fresh berries. He just signed himself up right off the bat when the camping flyers were given out. He loved to be outdoors as much as indoors. There's really nothing he disliked. "You wanna taste some?" He even snuck a few bags of spices within the plethora of pots. So he KNOWS he's prepared when things don't quite taste right. Maybe his priority is just really backwards. He forgot other essentials. Such as soap and toothpaste. To which he had to beg other people for.

[Yukiya]

Let's just say mind reader was not something Yuki thought Shun was, because, well, he's Shun. He couldn't deny Shun's words, so Yuki just answered by helping out. He was pretty shocked that he brought so much cooking equipment when probably just a couple of pots would've done the trick. Well, Yuki didn't even think about cooking period. He just packed whatever the heck he had and went. The only thing he deliberately brought was his egg. It hadn't hatched yet, to his knowledge, but that book he read mentioned that it'd only be a matter of time. He wondered if they were a normal thing. The girl at the library and her muse character didn't seem shocked that he had one.

In the meanwhile, he decided to grab some utensils. "Compote?" he asked, looking at the fruit mixture. He did mention about wanting to make pies and having jams too. "...I...do your parents own a bakery or something? Or is dessert making a hobby?" He was pretty impressed, but then again his standards for Shun was rather low. Well everyone had one thing that they were good at, right? "...sure, I'll try some."

He grabbed an extra pan and went to Shun when he thought he heard a small voice, and turned - to see a new guardian character? She had bear shaped ears and a fancy dress. It wasn't Japanese, but it was...probably Asian? He wasn't sure. He was about to greet her when he realized that the others might not be able to see her, so he just waved a little. Who did she belong to, anyway? It didn't seem like Shun noticed her, so probably not his. Was it someone else in the tents?

He gestured to her to come toward him while getting a sample of Shun's creation. "Looks good," he said, and quickly tried some. It was pretty sweet and kind of warm. "Not bad, not bad! Say, I'll just uh, be a minute..."

He turned away from Shun and asked the little chara "Shouldn't you be with your, um, bigger friend right now?"

Surprisingly he didn't hit on her, but besides that fact it was way too early to live, his disastrous earlier encounter with a guardian character and her 'bigger friend' made him want to take these little guys more seriously. Like if these little ones were someone's child.

[Ji Yoo]

For a moment, Ji-Yoo wasn’t sure what to do. Sure, her sleepy time was ruined and there was no getting back. But she didn’t really feel like going out either. It was too early and possibly nothing to do. Not that there would be anything to do here except for putting up with Shun, Yuki and Kong-Ji. Ji-Yoo wasn’t interested in nature, hiking, adventures, survival… there was absolutely no reason for her to be here. And yet there she was. The girl prayed for time to pass faster.

Meanwhile Demi was getting dressed. She didn’t seem to care that Ji-Yoo was there, well, they were both girls after all. She faced away and started looking for her own clothes. Her mother had insisted to pack her bag herself, since Ji-Yoo had never gone camping. There were all kinds of things in there and the girl had no idea what most of them were, but whatever. Two kinds of jackets, many kinds of pants and shirts and… what the hell, she was going on a four day trip not moving out of the house. Ji-Yoo shook her head.

Finally Ji-Yoo randomly grabbed a random pair of pants and a random shirt and started dressing up. She was a little conscious of Demi’s presence, but tried to do what the girl herself was doing and just ignore it. She noticed that Demi was trying to share stuff with her, but really, Ji-Yoo was equipped with a whole emergency kit. Not to mention cosmetics. “Thanks, um, but I have one too.”. The first year took out her tooth paste and tooth brush and went outside to wash, doing her best to pass unnoticed by the three. What were they doing anyway?

At the same time, Kong-Ji was busy floating around Shun, trying to get a glimpse of everything he was doing. So fun! “Compote? YAYYY!! Kong-Ji wants to taste!” What a good start: making new friends and eating compote. This curly-haired boy seemed so generous, the little guardian character already liked him. This trip is going to be lots of fun! And Kong-Ji was going to make her human enjoy it if it was the last thing she did. Maybe. Unless Ji-Yoo got angry. Then she’d have to back down.

As the shugo chara tried to get Shun’s attention, the other boy gestured her to come over. Was she being noticed by someone? Her ears fluffled up and she patted her blushing cheeks. She felt really REALLY happy right now! Kong-Ji floated over to Yuki and stared at him with sparkly puppy-eyes. “Ohhh hello~ My name is Kong-Ji, do you want to be friends?” To her surprise, though, the boy seemed more interested in her owner than herself. “oh…” Her cheerfulness faded a bit. “You mean Ji-Yoo chan? I can’t stay with Ji-Yoo chan when she’s angry. It’s dangerous.”

[Demi]

Demi nodded at Ji-Yoo's explanation that she had one, too. So she quietly stashed her bug spray back into her bag, then grabbed her tooth brush and tooth paste and trailed after Ji-Yoo. May as well do the same. As she passed by the boys, she gave a slight glare to Shun. Demi was not a fan of being woken up bright and early. She kind of veered away from Ji-Yoo as she walked to not only give the other girl some privacy, but herself some as well.

She brushed her teeth off by herself, then when she was done rinsing her mouth out, she put the case back on her tooth brush. Quietly, she headed back to see if Encore was up or not. She meandered back into the tent to find that no, Encore was still asleep. "You lazy bum, get up." Demi scooped up Encore. "If I have to be awake, so do you."

Encore stirred a bit, then blinked, realizing she got picked up. Sitting up, the guardian character yawned softly, rubbed one eye, then blinked blearily at her charge. "Demi..." Encore greeted. "Good morning..."

"Don't you 'good morning' me... wake up!" Demi replied tartly, annoyed that her guardian was sleeping so easily. She set the sprite down in favor of putting her tooth brush and tooth paste away in her bag. "Everyone else is already awake, Encore... you're the one lagging behind."

Encore blinked... that woke her up! "Oh- Kong-Ji chan and Ji-Yoo chan are awake?" Encore perked up, looked around, and spotted the opening in the tent. The little sprite flew out, then looked around. She spotted her friends relatively easily, then flew over to Kong-Ji first. "Good morning!" She sounded so chipper as she moved to hug Kong-Ji in greeting. She'll get to Leo next!

"Nah. My parents are both artists. It's just a hobby of mine to cook. And uhhh...Cause they can't really cook. Sort of." Shun had a wry smile on his face when he said that. It's true that they used to eat out a lot before Shun learned how to do things himself. "It's good? Ah! I'm so glad!" Shun beamed up when Yuki complimented his cooking. And now the little guardian character next to him wants to have a try, too. "Oh, sure, you can have some too! I made a bunch. Maybe too much. But it's good! Food supply is always good!" He gave Kong-Ji some and listened to what the two were talking about. Something about Ji Yoo being scary when she's mad. "I can confirm that. She scared of a horde of mask wearing people who were out to scare me!" He remembered that and is still thankful that she helped him out back then.

"LEOOOOOOO" Shun had to shout to get Leo to come back and not just run off by himself. "What is it, Shun? Can't you see I'm trying to make a note of our location?" Shun only wanted to give him some food, but he didn't seem like he wanted any. Too busy trying to make sure everything goes smoothly, right? "Then I'll put your part over here. But I won't guarantee it'll still be there." If someone else eats it, then he's not responsible for the hungry Leo. Well, technically he is. He stashed some backup food so it wouldn't be so bad.

Leo stayed in his corner trying to calculate...things. He felt like it is up to him to preserve the common sense in this place. What with Shun around, things are probably going to go downhill. But maybe he's being to harsh. He quietly gave every nook and cranny an inspection. Can't be too sure about the safety anyway.

[Yukiya]

"Who doesn't know how to cook?" Yuki blurted in response, but he backed off and shrugged. "...sorry. My family has a few restaurant owners, so it's second nature to us."

Except him. Cooking wasn't really something he liked or hated, it was just necessary to live in his mind. He didn't want to think about it too much, so he turned his attention back to the little cub girl, who mentioned that she was Ji-Yoo's character. Yuki glanced back at the tent where Ji-Yoo and Demi were staying, and looked at Kong-Ji. "...once again, the little fairy and the big girl are very different people," he muttered, but noticed Kong-Ji looking a bit sad. "Ehh, don't look like that, milady. Don't you know that girls are most beautiful when they smile?" One could almost see the sparkles and roses coming out behind Yuki.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), Shun interrupted them by telling a tale of Ji-Yoo's bravery in defending Shun from scary masked men. "Heh! She almost scared me to death when we got stuck in a storm together. She runs like a banshee--a cute...banshee, though. Want more compote, Kong-ji-chan?" he asked, giving a spoonful to her, hopefully not catching the guardian chara's (or Ji-Yoo's) attention.

Oh wait, Shun. He must've been talking to air to him - except, y'know, Shun was yelling at his own little sprite to come out. He had one too? Did everyone in this school had one? Next thing that other girl's sprite would come out too. He just ate quietly, feeling a bit, well, jealous. It was kind of like not having the newest toy come out because your family didn't have enough money. But what could he do? Whenever he was ready to come out, his chara would come out. Hopefully.

"You need any more help?" Yuki asked Shun, trying to get the negativity off his mind. But look, there was a new sprite coming from the girl's tent after all. "...you want some?" he asked the blonde chara, giving another spoonful. "You've got a cool fashion sense, missy!" He still hoped that Shun really did have something for him to do, or he'd woken up early for nothing...

[Ji Yoo]

“AHHH” Kong-Ji opened her mouth, gladly accepting the compote from Shun. “AHHH IT’S SO DELICIOUS~ KONG-JI LOVES IT SO MUCH!” She opened her tiny arms and hugged Shun’s face. The little guardian was enjoying all the attention. Sometimes it was fine not having Ji-Yoo around to nag her. She could be happy with her friends without being self-conscious and concerned that her human didn’t approve of her actions. Ji-Yoo seemed to really enjoy making Kong-Ji miserable, which made the fairy sad but if she didn’t accept the human’s shortcomings, then who would?

While listening to the strange tale about Ji-Yoo’s bravery, Kong-Ji was more focused on having more compote. Yuki was nice enough to give her a spoonful as well “YUMMM” She chanted. Her cheeks turned a bit red at Yuki’s words, thinking about what nice words she could say in return. “Yuki-kun is beautiful too! REALLY PRETTY And cute~” She hugged him and gave him a peck on the cheek before shyly hiding behind Shun.

The atmosphere was about to turn more hyper with Encore’s arrival. “ENCORE CHAAAN~ YOU WOKE UP~” Kong-Ji glomped her. The guardian was so glad to have her very best friend on this trip. Only just thinking about all the fun stuff both of them will be doing caused her ears to fluff up even more. “Encore-chan, Shun-chan had some REALLY tasty compote! Shun-chan, will you please give Encore-chan some as well?” She asked politely.

Finally done brushing her teeth, Ji-Yoo was on her way back to the tent. She saw that Demi was still inside and debated whether she should say something to her. “Should… should we go out and check on the boys? I mean, what if they set the camp on fire or something.” That might have sounded like nonsense but Ji-Yoo truly believed that, in an unfortunate turn of events, things might end up that way. Because of Shun or Kong-Ji, probably.
