I hope you're all ready for egg pun hell
The Heart’s Egg
+ Description: There’s a book on campus about all this egg business… it’d help you out a lot if you could find it to learn about everything. It might be in the library, or left in a common room; someone else might be looking for it though, or maybe you could look for it with a friend--maybe a friend even already knows about it and its whereabouts!
+ Follow Prompt: +1 Guardians, +1 Faberge, +1 Roost
+ Requirements: None
+ Submitted by Pai
"Good thing the decimal system is universal..."
Slip of paper clutched in hand, she made her way through Seiyo Academy's impressive library in the hopes of finding out more about the enigmatic egg that had only very recently shown itself to her. Of course, she didn't expect to find anything specifically on the subject - that would be crazy. So here she was, going off of the one clue that she had - dreams and wishes.
What better way to do that than with a book about dream interpretation, right? Ananti checked the sequence of letters and numbers again on the slip of paper she had written them down on, her eyes going back to scanning the abundance of spines that were laid out in front of her, "Here it is.." In an eager attempt to educate herself she opened the book to scan the contents, immediately met with a sea of hiragana, katakana and kanji. Frowning to herself she snapped the book shut, the frustration of her situation once again dancing on what seemed to be the last of her nerves lately. She sounded suspicious enough asking her translator to search relevant titles for her to track down, and now she would look crazy asking her to look up egg dreams in particular.
She let out short, forceful sigh before deciding to take a handful of books in the same general area, seating herself on the carpeted floor in the hopes that maybe she could go off of pictures alone. Gently she placed her messenger back beside her, opening it up to find the self-same egg that had brought her here in the first place, looking almost comfortable in the bed of gauze and cotton she had made for it. Carefully she cradled it into her hands, setting it into her lap before grabbing the top book of her pile, "Well, Egg....here goes nothing, huh? There has to be something in these books about you..."
