There was always something to do at the park, if not only to sit around and admire its surroundings. There was often an event of some sorts, whether it be sports or music or anything you could think of really. But this time around the park maintained the serene, peaceful feeling the second year had come to enjoy in passing. It was her favorite place to go for a jog compared to running around the school campus looking like she was lost. At least at the park it wasn't uncommon for someone to just be running around randomly. But she wasn't here today to run about without reason.

She had yet again managed to drag someone out to some remote spot against their will. Or rather she had 'skillfully convinced' him to 'tag along'. Truthfully they had only met once in passing, but she saw potential in him!! Potential for friend material! And Junko never missed a chance to make friends if she could help it. 

So she had somehow lured Dainan to the park, some promise of an awesome time to be had.

No one would blame him if he was unimpressed by the kiddie playground she'd brought him to.

It was like any kid playground you'd find in a park. Rusted, ill kept, most likely used by stray cats as a lair. But hey at least the swing set was still intact. Junko had made a beeline for them, grabbing onto the chains as she looked back to Dainan hopping up and down. 

"Come on, come on!! I'll push you!!"

Now, Dainan wasn’t exactly sure how he got here, one moment he’s going to the grocery store for something to snack on and the next he’s being dragged along somewhere with a girl he’d only met once before. He wasn’t sure what he was expecting but it definitely wasn’t the small playground in the middle of the park.



It had been quite some time since he’d been to a playground, and it was much smaller than he remembered any playground to be. His height played a big factor to the reason everything looked so small, if he hadn’t been paying attention he would have hit his head against the rusted monkey bars.



He ducked under the old monkey bars and looked at the girl who brought him here in the first place, whose hands were holding the rickety old chains of the swing set. Dainan scrunched his nose as he walked up to the swing she wanted to push him on, the swing and the chains didn't look like they could handle his weight, and he wanted to tell her to forget it; but judging by the look on the girl's face she wouldn't take no for an answer.


“If I break this swing set,” He spoke as he hesitantly sat on the old swing and wrapped his fingers around the chains, “you’re taking the blame,” He finished with a grin, already bracing himself for when the whole thing toppled over on top of him.

"Whaaaat? You totally won't break it.....maybe." She grinned back at him, waiting for him to take a seat upon his throne before she slowly but surely somehow] managed to pull him back as far as she could before letting him loose. "Stick out your legs as you swing forward!! It makes the swinging even better!!" She chirped, waiting for him to swing backwards before giving him another push to his back.

She hadn't done this much as a kid herself, having no one really to push on the swings she often found herself climbing onto them and swinging herself back and forth as best she could before getting a mouthful of dirt. It wasn't the best but it was satisfying in itself somehow. But she was finding doing it with someone else was way more fun than balancing herself on a swing seat.

"Did the piercings on your brow hurt when you got 'em?"

The question was thrown out of the blue, most likely her attempt to make conversation as she continued to push him forward. "I've only gotten an extra piercing on my ears so iunno if the pain's the same or not. It looks super cool though!!" She wasn't exactly racing to get one herself but on him, definitely worked.

[Dainan]

Dainan gripped the chains when she pulled him back and let him go, “I know how to swing!” He glanced at her over his shoulder before looking back. His legs were way too long, his heels scraping against the ground at first before he figured out how high to hold his legs. Although he was straining himself to keep his feet from repeatedly dragging along the ground, he was having fun.

Upon hearing her question he had to think for a moment, he couldn’t recall if it hurt or not, “Well… I mean, it depends on your pain tolerance I guess,” He paused, that was a stupid answer, “I just remember feeling a prick and then pressure. It was over pretty quick,” He shrugged and swung his legs. “It wasn’t the same feeling as getting your ears pierced though, it hurt a little more.”

He reached up and ran his fingers through his hair, attempting to push a few loose strands of hair back under his bandana, “Why do you ask? Were you thinking of getting one?”

She snickered, watching him struggle to keep his feet above the ground. He certainly was a bit taller and lengthy than she was. Which she found was not common in the school since her own height was often remarked on, it was kind of refreshing to find someone taller than her.

"Ooohh..!" He had a point. She'd never taken pain tolerance into account. It'd been a while since she'd gotten her last piercing so it wasn't surprising she'd forgotten most of what she'd learned before hand when she got it. She supposed it really wouldn't hurt that much, there wasn't that much to go through around the brow area.

"Naaahh..." She shook her head. "I don't think it'd suit me. I was mostly curious." She chirped, pushing him once again. She'd put more force into each push, at least he was getting a decent 'massage' out of it. "I think the three I've got are all I can handle." She chuckled.

[Dainan]

Dainan inwardly cursed his long legs, they were starting to feel sore as he fought with gravity to keep his heels from dragging on the ground. “Ahh, that’s cool though,” He was enjoying the slight massage he was getting from the pushes, but he let his heels hit the ground, the swing stopping almost immediately. “How ‘bout I let you swing? My legs are gettin’ sore from fighting gravity,” He grinned and pushed himself off of the swing, spinning and holding the chains.

“Your swing awaits, m’lady,” He teased, holding out the swing for Junko.
