Junko kicked her legs back and forth as she sat in the arcade, hands in her lap as she bobbed her head side to side. The owner of the arcade had been pestering random students who happened by the arcade, telling them he had quite the treat for them if they would volunteer to shoot a commercial for the arcade. She unfortunately had been one of his victims and Junko couldn't pass up a week of free games. She wasn't the biggest game fanatic but a) free stuff was pretty tempting and b) she could challenge others to play all the awesome fighter games and it wouldn't cost her a thing. For a week anyway.

The only problem being, she had absolutely no frigging clue what to do for a commercial. You had to be careful or else they ended up lame as hell. There was a rare few that were actually well...watchable. Her personal favorite was the commercial were the ones with that english actor, Tommy Lee Jones. 

Junko rest her arms on the counter, tapping her fingers. Well, he hadn't exactly said he wanted a good commercial so she supposed she could just...totally wing the entire thing. Yeah! She'd totally bullshit it! But she'd need at least another person to help her do it...someone with creative thoughts. Someone who could be funny. Someone like this random guy she'd pick off the street.

Yeah, that guy!

[Takeo]

It wasn't as if Takeo wanted to miss the chance of winning at anything. He had heard about the Aosaka arcade's offering of free games in exchange of working on a commercial, for old man Ohno. In fact, he had made plans already: he would work alone and put a handful of effort on a production, investing his own resources, time and money, to earn that prized game time. Walking down the streets towards the place in stakes, Takeo realized how unlikely it was of him to do that, to want to participate in something and give his best effort, when he usually would half ass it. 'It's only for the free games', he thought; acknowledging that there was nothing free in this world. He would be paying those games with his hard work, off course. His character's egg bounced and and vibrated on the pocket of his hooded sweater--Ousuke, the prince fairy, was proud of his human's initiative: He didn't have to force a character change on the guy for him to do this! It was only a matter of time until Takeo accepted the character changes by himself to become a greater, more sociable person, it was for his own better sake.

Takeo examined in his mind the different ideas he could put into action for the commercial: stop-motion animation, flash animation; or perhaps something ironic and funny, but with good taste? "What do you want to do, Ousuke?" He asked in a very low voice, so only his egg could hear him. However, there would be no response, as Takeo was being, sort of, pulled out from the crowd as he walked past the entrance of the arcade.

"Hey! What the fuck are you doing?! --Oh, it's you, Kinjo." Tall cute girl with the beauty mark under the left eye. Kinjo, Junko: a member of the Kendo club. She was... nice, he could say. Not too intrusive, but very energetic. The good side of the story is that she respected him, and despite being weird and new for Takeo, he appreciated her earnest. "Are you here to play ...Or did you hear about the commercials?"

A light emanated from his sweater, bursting in sparkles tinted in pink and gold. A hair clip, with the shape of a heart with wings, clasped onto his hair. Takeo took a deep breath and, unwillingly, gave the girl a friendly slap on the arm, holding one of her shoulders with much confidence.

"Ohno-san is offering a week's worth of free games to anyone who can make a commercial for the Arcade, did you know? Let's work together in one! Would you like to?" His voice came out smoothly, expressing security and friendliness. This was the kind of Takeo who lead the Kendo club, the Takeo who motivated the kendo club and bossed them around, all while motivating them to be better than yesterday. But, Ousuke had just caused a character change without consent, and there was no turning back from his offer.

"I mean..." Now, it was more like his usual self. His voice was now shaky and insecure, albeit shy as well. "If you want to... I... Have a few ideas, but I can't do it all alone..." He was digging himself his own grave in front of his 'kouhai', but he could only play along with his fairy's choices now, and hope that she agreed to take part on his... 'Idea'.

"Ah Banchou!"

She hadn't realized she'd managed to snag her captain....what luck!! They would nail this commercial. "I did know!! That's exactly what I snagged you! Or rather I was just kinda grabbin' for someone off the streets to help out." She responded cheerfully, laughing a bit. That was really, really lucky that they both were looking into it.

She paused for a moment, noticing a slight sudden change in his attitude but brushed it off completely. Nah, this was Takeo. Nothing new. The hair clip, was new, but she wasn't going to bother mentioning it or acknowledging it. They had work to do and if a chara change was gonna help them do it then she was all for it ! "I'd love to, banchou! It'd be an honor!" She stood up straight, all excited. She was gonna get to work with the captain, y'know outside of kendo club. Where she wasn't run ragged from exercise. Oh god she hoped she wouldn't have to run any laps...please be kind captain. 

"That's perfect banchou! I couldn't think of like anything...really....so I am like all ears for any idea." She laughed sheepishly. "I was honestly going to kind of wing it but having an idea sounds much safer....And I trust your judgement banchou. Lay it on me." She nodded her head, crossing her arms. 

Honestly, with how Takeo handled the kendo club she had full trust in his choices. She wasn't going to second guess him, not someone as awesome as the captain!! He was the coolest senpai in her eyes, well next to a certain jelly bean guzzling senpai of course but he was up there with him!!

"Oh god" he murmured to himself, returning to his usual, gloom persona. Now, he was damned, he would have to go through this, not only for the games, but for Junko, too. What kind of club captain and leader would he be, if he let her down at a team work activity? "I, uh... was thinking about something... That gamers might like..." With a deep breath, or rather, a very sad sight, Takeo invited his guardian character to take full control of the situation--for once, he was willingly trusting a character change to get out of a problem.

The all so assertive club leader returned, with determined eyes and a completely serious semblance: "Cute girls make everything better--" He paused his ramble of ideas, only to hold Junko by the hands and make her twirl on her feet, should she understand that he's talking about her. "--And you are a cute girl, so, why don't we turn you into a video gaming idol for a commercial? Gamers like idols, don't they?" And otakus, how could he forget them. "No, I think most people like idols. If someone with loads of energy and charisma invites the public to arcade, I have no doubt that it will be a success."

Again, he was silent, letting the girl's arms go. "...Only if you want to. I would never... force you to do something against your ethics." Takeo had a cute dress in mind, photography, looks, camera--Anyone could mistake him with some nerdy Faberge member with how into it he was already.

She eyed him curiously, eagerly awaiting his pitch. She wondered what he had in mind. He was pretty smart when it came to handling the Kendo club so there was no doubt in her mind that he'd manage to come up with something clever to help advertise. She trusted him, so she'd take whatever he said with great consideration.

She paused, batting her eyes furiously as her face heated up. W-what was he doing...She looked down at their hands before looking back up to him, she could feel her hands beginning to get sweaty as he held them. "I-I'm...."

O-oh...oh....oh......

She swallowed the lump in her throat, wiping her hands quickly on the back of her skirt before looking at him with the best confident smile she could muster. "I-if Banchou has faith in my abilities then I'm game!" She nodded her head with a big smile. "I don't mind at all!! It sounds like it'd be totally fun!! You've got everything already thought up huh? What dedication Banchou!!!"

Although Takeo was stupid for certain social cues-- such as replying rudely to the wrong person, or keeping talking when he should shut up-- he wasn't that ignorant when it came to these, nervous, physical reactions. As he let Junko's arms free, he asked himself if she really did... More, why would she? Why him? His better reasoning advised him to ignore the elephant in the room; giving the guardian an encouraging pat on the arm, grateful of her everlasting, undying faith in him. If only he doesn't fuck this up... But, no, he won't. They are doing this together!


But better came to worse, and their plans had to be postponed. With the increasing x egg activity, the accidents, and the fights, Takeo did not have the time required to put their little-big project in action. That was until after he came out of the hospital, from his last fight against a heart egg user who was corrupted: their fellow kendo club member, Elijah. Now that Takeo was allowed to move-- although not too much, should he stay away from fights for another week, at least-- they had the perfect chance to put that commercial on the tv!

So, making use of his Roost benefits, Takeo borrowed Ohno's filming equipment: a camera, microphones, and lights. He would use, too, the software in The Roost's room computers for video editing. It was the perfect chance to make something good for his dearly loved arcade... And to show off Junko's shinning star, off course. 

He did say some time ago, that he would help her light shine, didn't he?

Therefore, an appointment was made. Takeo texted the girl to meet up at the arcade a certain day, at a certain hour. He had everything organized on the 'set': lights positioned, camera ready to roll, and the arcade was pristine clean thanks to his efforts. The only thing he needed was the most important fact of the commercial, though: Junko's peppiness and energy! The video would be nothing without her, the protagonist. However, there was something bugging the back of Takeo's mind... Would she accept to wear the idol costume he borrowed for the commercial? 

How he got it? Well, that's a mystery, but he's got a cute-- albeit sensual, idol outfit for Junko. Will that even fit her? Will she AGREE to this part of the 'contract'? Holding his plus omamori in one hand, he prayed to the gods that this would work just fine.

When she had received the message on her phone, her eyes instantly lit up.

This was exactly the boost she needed. A day hanging out with Takeo, making the best dang commercial ever was the best day she could ever imagine having. She hurried over as fast she could, Tama trailing behind her slowly as she couldn't seem to keep up. She was moving a faster pace than usual, Tama shook her head, it was very obvious how excited she was. Her optimism was at its peek today.

Within very little time they'd made it to the arcade, taking a moment to regain her breath. It wasn't surprising she'd overdone it. She walked into the arcade, looking around for Takeo before spotting him. She began waving her arms back and forth as she waved at him crazily.

"Banchou!! Banchou!! I came as fast as I could! I'm ready to get this show on the road." She posed triumphantly. "Throw whatever you got at me! I am ready!" She eyed him curiously, spotting the outfit. She looked at it for a moment, raising her eyebrow before looking back at him...

She bat her eyes for a moment, glancing away as her cheeks slowly became rosy. He thought she could pull something like that off? That was....so flattering!!! She never imagined being able to pull off a frilly outfit like that but if he thought she could then there was no stopping her!! She looked back at him with a big smile. "I'm game!"

[Takeo]

Ah, the ever cheerful Junko... Takeo made the right decision when choosing her for this role. "How do they say? It's showtime, something, whatever. Time to work." He responded, with a murmur that implied a joke.

Takeo's brows furrowed, as he took out props for the shootings: old controllers; shooter guns; and the star of the show, a five feet tall 'magical girl' staff, which was merely a steel pole with a 'Roost chan' stuffed animal glued on top. "Lil bro's idea." He mentioned, pointed at the middle schooler's creation. "He wanted to come to help us, by the way; he wanted to meet you, too, but he's in cram school and dad won't let him take a break. Here..."

Next up, was the magical girl costume: very revealing, but still managing to keep a cute and 'pure' inspiring image about it. "That was his idea, too; his and his bestie's, though. They're good at this-- glad that you're willing to put up with the looks." Last item was a cute, pink glittery box, which Takeo was embarrassed to even look at. "Uh, lil bro's make up box..." He was uncomfortable to say it, but he couldn't lie. "I kind of know the basics of... this... make up thing... I'll do my best. Meanwhile, can you get changed? There is a rest room on the right. I trust you can work it."

Standing up, he proceeded to set up the props around the consoles that they would use: one had a screen with Ohno's big score at the shooting games. That would be the star of the show. "Kinjo, ayou have another duty: You will be in charge of your own script. I don't think I can... convey what a cute girl can say about videogames. It's up to you."

"Well it's an interesting idea." She looked at it with a slight laugh. "I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off but hopefully I'll do your brother's idea justice!" She eventually taking the outfit from him so she could get into costume. She really wasn't sure she was going to be able to pull it off but she'd at least give it a shot. Better to have tried than not at all.

"I'll leave the makeup to you then Banchou." She nodded her head. "You're probably way better at it than I am. I barely touch the stuff haha." She didn't even own a makeup box if she was going to be honest. She was still nervous about Miuna doing her makeup for their cooking club event because she had also never worn the stuff but there was a first for everything.

"I-I don't know if I can pull a 'cute' girl feel but I will give it my all Banchou!" She hurried off into the rest room, making haste as she changed into the costume.

[Takeo]

"There is no turning back from this!" He exclaimed to the girl, watching her walk away to the restroom. The encouraging words were actually directed at himself, rather than the young lady-- her honor and image were at a bigger risk than Takeo's; but his terror of making a mess of this project still lured behind his ear, whispering what ifs and what nos: So many things could go wrong, even inside of the arcade, while filming, right? Fallen cameras, broken equipment, running out of memory, messing with one of the arcade machines... Such a tragedy was orchestrating in his mind, that Takeo began to sweat cold bullets. Nonetheless, for the sake of his mental health, Takeo shrugged the negativity away, focusing his mind into believing in himself and his heart's wish. Ousuke sat in the safety of his shoulder, patting his human boy on the back of the head, like a reassuring father's touch would.

It was show time, and Takeo waited for the girl to come out with the costume. Such was a straight guy, that he knew he would stare, liked it or not. Takeo asked his guardian character to grant him 'correctness' and 'politeness'. He was ought to be Prince Charming for a while, or at least, for as long as they filmed the commercial. His wishes were granted, and Takeo received another character change. This was exhausting, but necessary, all so the young man would not make Junko uncomfortable. 

He sat on the floor, preparing the make up tools to make art: primer, corrector, foundation, powder, eyeliner, eye shadow, blush, lip gloss, mascara, brushes, sponges, and a make up fixing spray. The tools of the trade sat in a line over the makeup box, waiting for the star of the show. Some regulars watched the scene with curious eyes. What was going on with the cameras?

Oh she knew. There was no need to remind her.

Even if the commercial wasn't chosen to air, she still had to live with the fact that that old man Ohno would see it. That Takeo would see it. Ugh! He'd see the most of it! She could feel her nerves eating away at her as she thought about it, she took a deep breath attempting to shake off the nervous feeling. There was no need to be nervous...! She knew Takeo was a reliable guy! In fact they'd totally have fun doing this. Yeah! I mean why not? She was never usually one to pass up good ol bonding time with the Banchou! She nodded her head, steeling herself as she finally donned her battle gear. Or outfit, same thing.

A few minutes later and she'd sheepishly make her way back, glancing around a bit before finally looking at Takeo. "T-ta-dah!" She announced softly, striking what she hoped was a decent enough pose. She could hear heart pounding, threatening to practically come out her chest. Tama let out a small sigh, moving over to give the young girl a slight pat on the shoulder. She had done seldom few character changes on the girl but perhaps now was a good time. She could use the confidence boost.

After letting out a deep breath she'd been holding, she strode over to Takeo, hands on her hips. "So what's next boss!"

The moment Takeo looked at Junko come out of the restroom, he was already in a peaceful state of mind:he had no bad thoughts about her, or the outfit chosen for the commercial. All thanks to Ousuke. The guy gave the girl a thumbs up, and invited her to sit down, over a chair in front of him. "Now I do your makeup", he stated, with a fast paced voice. The poor Junko would not have enough time to check what was happening, since, as soon as she'd take a seat, there would be creams and pigments and tints spreading on her face. "What about your lines? Did you think of anything interesting? I trust whatever you can come up with, though. You... Kind of are a magical girl already, aren't you?" It wasn't really a joke; Takeo had just realized of the irony of the situation. If only people knew what Junko and him, and many other attendees of the arcade did around Otonoki...
Oh, but would she be able to share her thoughts while the makeup is being applied to her face? Takeo still had other things to add. "This will be short, but substantial." He finished doing her makeup, by spraying the skin of her face with a makeup sealant.
