♡ SEIYO ACADEMY
Seiyo Academy (聖代学園) was founded by a group of well-known educators from various parts of the world in the 1980's, where it was originally a private university for the arts. After it closed in the early 90's, it was bought out and converted into a public high school, where it then saw a number of western-style remodels before opening its doors to a new generation of students. It has operated as such since then, gaining regard as one of Otonoki's best high schools.
Relatively easy to get into, Otonoki sees a large amount of diversity through its student body; accepting large amounts of foreign and transfer students, being of moderate affordability and seeing a broad scope of faces across an economic standpoint, and having a medium-sized acceptance rate based on entrance exam scores.
Home to a student population of over 600, class sizes average at about 26-32 students, with 5 homerooms per grade level sorted by academic aptitude (classes labeled A-E, respectively).(click for full-size)
The campus is made up of seven buildings, and is fully-contained within the same block of city, streets bordering it on all four sides.
+ SCHOOL BUILDING - The main building that houses all classrooms (sans PE); spanning three stories--one for each year--with elective classrooms, club rooms, staff rooms, infirmary, and additional facilities found on either far wing. Large, open courtyards sit both in front of and behind the building, allowing for socializing and freedom of movement during free hours. Built with western-style architecture, the classrooms are spacious with high ceilings.

+ LIBRARY - Large enough to warrant its own building, the library is home to a broad collection of fiction and non-fiction literature spanning a number of cultures and time periods, in addition to a small collection of children's picture books. The shelves line all of the walls, and all of the seating and tables are kept in a center area so that the librarian can keep a firm eye on all of the students.
+ ADMINISTRATION - The workplace of all the school's administrative members, as well as the maintenance department. The superintendent, director of technology, grounds director, business manager, accountants, copy rooms, and mail room are all found here. A relatively small and quiet building that always reeks of disinfectant and contains many intimidating adults.
+ ASSEMBLY & MESS HALL - A very open building, it houses the auditorium and the student dining areas. The auditorium seats 250, and the mess hall seats a comfortable 300.

+ SPORTS FACILITY - PE classes and all sports clubs are held here; the massive building holds a variety of areas including locker rooms, a large gymnasium with full-size basketball court, two indoor tennis courts, an indoor pool, and an indoor track. Outside are found the baseball and soccer fields, as well as the outdoor track & field area.
